If you like getting your groceries with long lines, employees who are super slow and a dirty and unorganized isles, then this is your place!

They never seem to have more than 1 real check out isle open when I go. I go on different days and at different times and always the same problem. A long line at the check out isle. They do have all 12 self check out isles open, but I shop for a family and don't enjoy checking myself out. This used to be a much more customer friendly store in that regard. read more

It's sad that a person has to go 3-4 miles past their neighborhood to get good prices. Milk in Kennesaw is 2.79 a gallon. In Acworth it's 1.79 a gallon. Same brand same amount. A whole dollar. When you've got children that dollar extra adds up. Not cool. I actually like Kroger's . Not the price difference. read more

I was a little trepidatious about using Kroger's Pharmacy--my overall experience with customer service at Kroger for groceries hasn't always been the best. They were fantastic, though. The technicians were competent and pleasant, they honored my coupon (I am uninsured, so that's very important to me), and the pharmacist took the time to ask me personally if I had any questions--it wasn't just a formality or a box to check off. I'll probably transfer other prescriptions to them if the price is similar to what I'm paying now. read more

On Saturday afternoon around 3 I called and spoke with the floral dept. I asked to have a corsage and boutineer made. The lady told me she had been at work for 9 hours and would not do it. I asked if anyone else was available to assist and was told again about her overwork and not being willing to help. In the past I have used your floral dept but never again. Kennesaw Florist did it for me and the cost was less than I have paid at Kroger in the past. Thanks for helping me find a new Florist. read more

What can I say it Kroger. I love Kroger but hate going to this location . They do not care take care to be gentle with fruits or vegetables. The staff is usually not very friendly or helpful, they are more concerned with talking to each other about their day then helping the customer and doing their job . read more

I was with my boyfriend shopping for food and I came to the checkout line with a boatload of groceries including food & a bottle of wine, and the checkout lady said she needed to see both of our ID's in order for me to purchase the wine because we were together. My boyfriend is 20 and I explained to her my boyfriend and I don't even live together and these groceries were all going home with me. He wasn't buying anything. She said that she still needed to see both of our ID's. I told her I could just go through the self checkout myself and have him wait outside and she just kinda stood there. I have never heard such a dumb rule when grocery shopping. Definitely won't be coming here when in need of food and wine. So dumb. read more

Have had several problems over the past wo years with item price on the shelf not matching what rings up. First line employees have been courteous and contacted duty supervisor/manager who can only make up excuses, not fix issue. I'll probably shop at some Kroger in the future but it will not be my "go to" store. There is a nicer competitive store just a few blocks north that has much better management. read more

Always love Kroger. The store is clean and well-organized. My parents and I go to this store several times a week. It's only ten mins driving, and we can get almost everything we want. Kroger always has a fuel program with Shell, which my husband loves a lot. We can save 1c/gallon every time. read more

Well I have been going to this Kroger since I moved practically next-door five years ago. Man it has gone downhill! With all of the recent construction I had hoped there would be some improvement but sadly that hasn't proved to be true. Produce department is a joke. Meat selection is very disappointing. Tonight was the last straw, I'm headed to Publix from now on! Grabbed some fried chicken for a quick meal fix call mom bad choice! It was the single worst meal I have ever had in my entire life. Couldn't even call it chicken jerky, the potatoes were almost clear, the gravy if you can call it that was really lumpy and disgusting. How terrible, black eyed peas had no taste, the best part was the Kings Hawaiian rolls but I guess they can't mess those up! The only good thing about it is the manager agreed to refund our money my husband headed over there now to do so. Sad to say with that and the terrible selection in all departments these days I'm headed off to Publix for good. read more

My second visit. I called to have my prescription filled here on my lunch break today. Having recently lost my health insurance, I was prepared to pay a hefty price for my 2 generic medications. Fortunately, after requesting the price of the 2 prescriptions over the phone (so I'd have the money when I went to pick them up) Bethany, the pharmacy technician, placed me on hold and when she returned, informed me that my two prescriptions would cost me approximately 20 dollars. (With health insurance both of my prescriptions also cost me 20 dollars, (10 dollars each)). She'd applied a discount card that I could continue to use to for my prescriptions, as long as I continue to have no health insurance. I am not sure how much my medications costs without health insurance, but I do know both were upwards of 50 dollars alone. That was very sweet of her and she didn't have to do that. They always seem to be busy but are always polite. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have been shopping here for nearly 5 years, always my go to store, and this is the worst that is has ever been. I noticed that it started to get a little rough about 2 3 years ago but never expected to see it like this. You've got the cart racks over flowing into parking lots, both parking lot and lobby trash cans so full there's trash on top of the trash can and on the floor, dirty unvacuumed lobby, random carts all around the store, blocking registers and walkways with rows of carts, empty unrecovered store but figured it was truck day with all the pallets in every aisle and back of store, not swept, and the list goes on. What was the topper for me was when they decided to drive customers out by falsely using the security bag check announcement to drive out paying/shopping customers because you want to close the store. It was 12:40, an associate make the typical "store will be closing in 20 minutes" announcement. Five minutes later, an automated security bag check for a certain section came on, followed by a male associated from the top floor yelling to an associate in the aisle next to me that he was going to do a security check to which the associate on the floor replied in a nonchalant sarcastic attitude, "Alright, make sure you bring backup." What made me so mad is the fact that I was the only one in the store! I saw the other customers at the self checkout and leave with my own eyes, I was shopping near the doorway and saw no one come in. This is the worst Kroger I have ever been to in my life and I am not exaggerating because I am a store manager in retail, I understand wanting to go home and cash out, but it was obvious you were doing overnight stock so there was no point for that announcement unless you just hate customers, then you're in the wrong business. There are some people that are forced to shop late because they work in retail and have to clean their own stores and have to cook dinner for their families. I know the difference between a tough clientele and a poor management and team. Your staff does not care, they have no customer service, they stand at the self checkout gossiping and completely ignoring customers, your sales floor associates have no customer service, they either don't speak to you and give you stares because you're still in the store or they're walking with a "recovery" cart with a tablet and headphones in. Give me a break and get it together. read more
