Store seems to be going down hill fast in the last few months. It was great to shop there but now some of the shelves are empty especially with the produce. I use to see people stocking the shelves all the time but not recently. Not sure if it's management or lack of help but night and day difference all of a sudden. Very disappointing to see. read more

Lidl rides ahead of the 4-letter-name European savings stores with a touch of elegance. Well, elegance comes in many flavors, and here it's called savings. My whiplash was exacerbated as my gaze bounced from deal to deal, wondering how I could ever escape without buying it all. First stop: fresh baked items, ranging from big exotic loaves to tiny pastries. Keep an eye out for those sale-priced items when you'll probably score BOGO tarts or $1.99 pies. Bring a fork and meet me here; I'm staying a while. Second stop: herbs. I'll be welcomed home tonight toting this giant organic basil plant. Then plantains, mangos--I'm gonna need a cart before long. Third-to-19th stops: every other deal on food staples known to man. Plus several name-brand items (not actually that much cheaper than other stores) and those ever-elusive special-buy items. Get the Lidl app for extra savings. Bring the kids to push around those kid mini-buggies (yes we are in The South that's what they're called). Those tikes will be at the perfect height to sideswipe a few unsuspecting adults in the dairy section as your children careen wildly for the candy section. Can you blame them? It's a Lidl mini! And candy! If stuff were regular-priced here I'd be in second-mortgage territory. As it stands I'll happily continue to live paycheck-to-Lidl. read more

I was driving down on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta Georgia. Saw a LIDL store on my way and stopped to see what this store had to offer. When in Europe I shop at Lidl stores a lot. Found all kinds of goodies here like Chocolate Croissants in the Bakery section. Those are my favorites. This store also had good selection of different type of cheeses, Calamata Olives, Anjou Pears and other fruits. I also like to look at their frozen food section because Lidl usually sells a good variety of some interesting items. This Lidl didn't disappoint. The store was clean and staff was friendly. I will go back next time I am in the neighborhood. read more

Brand new location with plenty of parking, free buggies, kiddie buggies, & sanitation stations to clean the buggies. The store is clean, well laid out and during their first five weeks of being open, has always been well stocked. For being a brand new location, the employees are both friendly and well trained. I find Lidl a cross between Trader Joe's and Aldi. Great prices, lots of house and German/European brands. From fresh flowers, bakery items, produce, household items, fresh meat, seafood, dairy, frozen items, to household items, beer, and wine, Lidl has a bit of everything. The weekly ads begin on Wednesdays and run through the following Tuesday, and there are special weekend only deals. Also as you walk through the store there are often percent off stickers on various items for further discounts. We were visiting relatives in Marietta, Georgia and discovered Lidl. I live in the northern suburbs of Chicago and I had come across an article about Lidl coming to the U.S. from Germany to give Aldi competition. Currently, as far as I know Lidl is located on the east coast from New York, New Jersey, down several states to Georgia. When we seen this store I had to stop in to see what it's about. When we walked in the first thing we saw was a display with all of these fresh bread, rolls. crescent rolls, etc. Walking down the first isle was fresh fruits and vegetables. Then came a great selection of frozen seafoods. From there was an incredible selection of cheeses. I can keep going on and on about all of the products they carry but you get the drift. They carry a great selection of there own brand name products along with so many name brands. As for pricing. Store brand products are priced like Aldi. As for the name brands, pricing is the same as Kroger just down the street. Milk prices were really great. $1.26 a gallon. The store is really, really clean. You don't see half empty boxes all over the place like Aldi. You still need to purchase bags like you do at Aldi, but you don't need to put a quarter in the slot to get a cart. Lidl is a neat store and I do think they will give Aldi fair competition. read more

One of the nicest and cleanest stores with fresh vegetables, fruits and bakery goods. The only thing that I have a problem with, is the open access to the majority of the baked good items. Since Covid and other air born viruses I feel that food that you don't wash should be covered. It would be nice if they wrapped their baked goods. Rude, cashier and management. I lost count of how many times he deep sighed as I returned their spoiled sweet potatoes, never once looked me in my eyes expect to tell me I did something wrong during the return procedure. Not only are your package produced inedible you're unapologetically rude when I have to come back out my way to return an item. Won't be using this location honestly made me want to just stick to Aldi. Hope management/corporate does better. read more

Today was the grand opening of this location. It was very cold outside so the line to enter the store did not get very long until close to 8:00 AM when the store opened. There was a ribbon cutting ceremony. The first person in line received a $100 gift card and was in line since 2:30 this morning. The other 99 who were first in line received gift cards for lower amounts. This Lidl location is much bigger than the East Cobb location. Everything was neat and organized and I hope they are able to keep it that way. It made it much easier to shop and I did not have to spend so much time looking for products or asking staff to help me find an item. They had small carts available in addition to the large carts. Carts are free to use at all Lidl locations like at any other grocery store. I chose the smaller cart which made it easier for me to navigate through the aisles. There was a limit to how many shoppers could be in the store at one time. There were some items advertised in the weekly flyer that were not available in this store. The staff was very helpful and this location had all the cashiers open so there was not a long wait to check out. The parking lot is big but not as big as the East Cobb location. You have to bag your own groceries so don't forget your reusable bags. I hope Lidl keeps this location well staffed because I know this new store will be very popular in Marietta. read more

Way down in my estimation do to stock advertised not available. The staff are not trained and they have changed the model to suit themselves. Lidl in Europe is a different experience. Health and safety in Europe is a main concern. Not here. This is a big fail. read more

Not my favorite grocery store. Honestly Aldi is better if you're looking for a cheeper grocery store. They have lots of produce which I appreciate because I love to cook but it seems that every time I buy something fresh from here it either has mold on it already or quickly accumulates it after a few days. The food sometimes tastes a little off as well. On the flip side the bakery is SO GOOD and this is weird but they have my favorite socks there. I'm a Lidl Nerd and proud of it! The store is always clean and well stocked. I love that I can get fruit and vegetables for such an awesome price! The more you spend, the more coupons and discounts you get. They have a decent selection of meat. Loads of European cheeses and specialty items. Great prices on wine and beer. Tried shopping there twice, both times around six pm. One register open with several shoppers in line with over flowing baskets. No matter how low the prices are unless you have plenty of time to stand in line it's not worth it in my opinion. If it's an issue of finding employees, why not have self check out? read more
