Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is My nearby and Go to store for many things from Fresh Produce, Flowers, Ready House Made Meals to Go, Popcorn, Handmade Croutons, Salsas, Wines and their decadent desserts to name a few of My favorites shopping items! This weekend was their Strawberry Sale .99 cents for a 1 # package, Garlic Bread for $1.99 and Mini Bay Scallops $8.99# that were fresh and easy to sauteed and bread bake. Upon Walking in the store stop and view the History Story of the Strawberry and trademark of Nino Salvaggio. Get your photo taking within the two cute figure Strawberry Statues. :-) Photos attached There's a cooler too with strawberry items on sale as well. I bought the strawberry fluff and Oh My Deeeelicious it is. After this review will be posted My many true, helpful and informative photos to assist shoppers as well. Nino Salvaggio has been in business throughout Michigan with many locations since 1978 with 4 locations and coming soon in Livonia on Schoolctaft. The Staff work hard every time I walk in restocking fresh fruit or vegetables that are higher quality than supermarket stores. The premade meals to go are reasonable price or weekly specials help shoppers plan their meals as well. During the holidays and sales they will email you the specials of the week so sign up for emails and then a customer will receive the special rewards price and also add to your Rree membership. In their newsletter will be the specials, recipes, and a story about a sale item which is good! The Bakery is always stocked with single rolls, 4 or 6 packs or dozen. Refrigerated desserts, shelf desserts or see Ann in the Bakery to order My favorite, single cannolis, eclairs, cream puffs or creme brulee treats. There's iskes of wine labeled by flavor to assist and liquor behind the counter. I shop here for Single or 6 packs of POLISH Beer is unbelievable! The pre-made soups, salads, pizza, pastas, and other meals are worth the taste after baking at home. I enjoyed the clam chowder soup this Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of - 2 pints. The chowder had Great flavor like at a restaurant They even sell Safe Pet Calcium Chloride for the snow in the winter months along with different needed items outside the store under the building such as Spring Flowers, Fall Flowers and Holiday Items. The store areas are always clean and plenty of employees working hard to assist you when you have a question or looking for a item. Its a Family business where customers are treated as family too! Prices are slightly higher than grocery stores but its all about the hard work in cleaning, cutting and preparing the specialty meals, dishes, party trays, ready to bake entrees is what matters by freshness and packaging from the employees that enjoy their jobs here at Nino's. Everything from fruits to veggies to packaged foods looked fresh and we did purchase quite a few things. Since we usually shop at Nino Salvaggios, (which we really like a lot) it was an easy comparison between the two. Randazzos carries a lot of products that Nino's doesn't and vice versa. So it was nice picking up some foods that Nino's doesn't have. One thing that stands out not only here, but anywhere is the friendliness of cashiers (or lack of). Nino's cashiers are time and time again much friendlier and something as simple as that is what a customer remembers and keeps them coming back since it's the last interaction with the store as they exit. I may still shop here occasionally though because it's closer to home, but it won't be my first choice.

The parking is odd but then again the store is shaped like a triangle so it's all laid out differently. My mom can not walk but a few steps so I always try to get handicap parking. It was Friday at 1pm and all but one of the handicap parking spots was taken. I slowly went around a corner as a mother and child were walking near the rear of my vehicle, and made my way to the one handicap spot when someone literally flew into it! They quickly bounced out and went into the store. Um, OK. I did find a spot somewhat close to the handicap spots. I LOVE that they had multiple, fully-functioning scooters! What a relief not to have to hunt down a rickety, barely charged one of two scooters situation that I face EVERY...SINGLE...TIME I go to the Meijer's on Hall Road. I rode a scooter out to our car and mom got on. I also loved that there were plenty of small shopping carts. The isles are large and very clean. The produce is fresh and plentiful. There are a lot of extra food items to choose from that you won't see in other grocery stores. I did notice the absence of the toys, sports and garden areas. This is a very large, well-appointed, attractive food store. They are located at the corner of 24 mile and Hayes in Macomb Township, MI.

When I worked there, there were already issues, but it seems like the overall management and work environment have declined even more. From what I have seen and heard, there is really only one manager who consistently seems to care about the employees, does their job well, and treats people with respect. Whose name is Brandon. There is also only one employee who consistently stands out as hardworking, dependable, and dedicated. All of the customers love her. And her name is Rebecca. It is disappointing that the store seems to rely so heavily on only a couple of good people while the rest of the management team appears to lack the leadership, communication, and accountability that employees deserve. Breaks are ALWAYS late, others are getting theirs before the ones who should get them first. Good management is extremely important for employee morale and the overall success of a store. When employees feel ignored, poorly managed, or unsupported, it affects the entire workplace. I genuinely hope someone takes this feedback seriously and looks into the current management. Very extremely disappointed in the management and managers of the store.

I love bookstores and go to them all of the time, but I cannot resist a bargain on the books we are looking for and my child was waiting for the release of a new Five Nights at Freddy's book. It was easy to get in and out of here and go through the self check. I am sure I would stop by if I were in the area again.
