We stopped into this location while in town to pick up a couple local items. There was plenty of parking available in the lot. We were looking for Izzy's pickles and Graeter's Ice Cream and found the ice cream easily, but couldn't find Izzy's even after checking a few sections. We mentioned it to the person at the register and they kind of blankly stared at us. I guess I don't expect them to know every item, but it wasn't busy and even some clarification on if they stopped carrying them altogether or just ran out would have been great- especially since they always ask "did you find everything ok?" Not the end of the world though. This particular store seems older and has the lighting and organization that seems the same as when I'd visit in the early 2000's. PLEASE stop playing Security over your intercom when I spend $50-$200 every time I come in!!! Great store but the security messages that come on every so often make for a Very unwelcoming shopping experience. As a person who shops here a lot and tend to get anxiety in stores this is just the worst thing you can do to customers that shop here a lot. Landen, OH- The fruits and vegetables are always wilting or not stocked and what looks edible usually rots the next day. Fresh meats are spoiled on deep clearance. I've never seen so many varying shades of brown meat. Not worth risking food poisoning. The cashiers and office managers are rude and unprofessional, sporting Pokemon hats. This store continually has products that are not in stock forcing us to go to to another store to get what we need. The produce department is especially bad. Also since it is a small store there isn't a lot of variety in selection so it isn't likely you can find a different brand of the same product. We only shop here because it is close and mostly for every day staples that we know they will have in stock. If it is anything unique or a specific brand we usually go to Meijer or a different larger Kroger in Mason or South Lebanon. read more

I live near this location in Maineville, so I am writing about my personnal observation and experience. I had an issue at another location, and the customer service personnel and manager in Maineville did a great job winning back my loyalty to the brand. I never had any issues at this location, and made a mistake going to a distant store while waiting on someone the day before, at which I had a terrible customer service experience. These folks knew how to erase the bad memory from that store and a great service recovery, and made me feel like this is the place to shop and I recommend it. read more

Kroger does for me exactly what I needed to do. I find myself shopping here for the small items that I can't get at Sam's or Costco. If I am making a recipe in the crockpot and need fresh fruits and vegetables, this store is right around the corner from my house, and they are pretty decently priced. I do love their organic section as well, but they are expensive (however, most organic products are!). I do like Kroger's brands, such as Private Selection or Simple Truth--so far, it seems like good quality and taste great and doesn't always break the bank money-wise. You can load coupons using the Kroger app. It tracks your purchases and the items you normally purchase and gives you a dollar amount off of the price. The bad thing is that you have to go onto the app and load the coupons into your Kroger's account, so that they come off your bill at check out. It does not automatically take these additional coupons off the price. Of course, if you use your Kroger card, there are some discounts within the store--those come off automatically. For me, the staff has always been really friendly. I usually use the self scan check out. Every time I've needed help, the staff member in charge has helped me quickly and with a smile. I also love the fact that there is a Redbox on the way out the door as well. This location does have the click list option. I have not yet tried this, but my friends have and loved it. There is usually a five dollar up charge, but I have been told it ends up saving you more money, as you don't buy things you do not need. There are also coupons sometimes within the app for a dollar amount off if you use the click list option. It's definitely a perk if you are too busy to shop! read more

I'd give this store a 0 if it would let me. Kroger has recently added the cordless hand scanner. I go into Kroger almost every day to buy fresh stuff daily since it's less than a mile from where I live. I never had issue till Jan 3rd 2023. As I said above about the new hand scanner. I scanned 2 cases of liton iced tea and heard the sound it makes when it scanner picks up the price and adds it to your total. They were the first 2 things I scanned. I lifted the 2 cases off the cart and scanned them. In front of the camera. I continued to scan. I'm used to the scanners stopping every 3 to 4 items and reading its please make sure to scan all items then it continues. When I finished it said wait for customer assistance. As I said I go every day to this Kroger. I spend between groceries $60 and $200 daily based on if I need dog treats, detergent, house hold supplies ect!. When the lady that runs the checkout came over. When I asked why this thing acts up contantly and it doesn't happen to me at any other krogers. She got mouthy. In my personal space. I told her to back out of my space and to leave me alone. I was told I asked a question and she could answer and say what she wanted. Again I told her to back away. At this time two other ladies came from customer service and the assistant customer service manager asked what was wrong and I started to tell her that I was tired of that lady constantly looking over my shoulder ir skulking around me like I'm stealing. Again $60 to $200 a day 6 to 7 days a week. Every day she has a snotty comment or she seems to have an attitute. I've thought about going to another Kroger. But it's within walking distance. The assistant customer service manager and one other lady. They came over and the assistant customer service manager asked what seemed to be the problem and I explained she smiled and quoted she's doing her job. I said mouthing off and arguing with customers is how kroger trains their employees. At that point I had 3 women basically surrounding me. I'm handicapped and can barely walk. It's not like I could run away. I have gone to kroger for 43 years and I will never step foot in another kroger again. I will be selling all investments with krogera name on it. I will also be contacting the better business bureau, Google reviews this and Facebook, Instagram, snapshot and any other social media platform and review platform and I will continue to write my story. Working my whole life to to do the right things and to treat others with respect and to have a few people that work the checkout line and an assistant assistant customer service and the assistant store manager who basically treated me like a their and the assistant store manager said so you took the iced tea. I said no your new scanner didn't work. The most wonderful lady followed me out to the parking lot with the receipt. (Now remember the checkout lady was asked to check it out. She swiped her card and I continued to pay. When the lady came to my car. She said I wanted you to see that those two items didn't scan. These were the first two items I scanned. I always hold items that are large that I skip bagging and put back in my scooter for handicap. I always raise them when I scan those items so the camera can see I scanned them. I've been going through receipts and I've found on atleast a half a dozen occasions where the scanner double scanned a small item. But nobody came out and tried to refund my money. I didn't accused kroger of stealing. As a matter of fact I never said a word till now. Those scanners double scan if you move an item over and reach and it will catch the code on the item and double scan items. I've also set bagged items on the floor and forgot them and no body ever grabbed the bag and chased me down to give me what I forgot. Instead they one time put it back even after I paid for it and another 2 times they put it behind the counter at customer service. They never even checked the video. They just accused me. When I returned the next day the assistant store manager said your the one that yook the tea. She never looked either. She believed the ladies covering their six. As far as I'm concerned she's in the same place as the other two. Latoya was the amazing lady who tried to remove the one checkout lady from the situation but her lips never stopped flapping. CONS: stocking employees negligent, no prompted interactions with floor staff regardless of prolonged presence, employees talking amongst one another vs. engaging with customers. Can be "weird" about coupons. Visited this location for the first time ever because of its proximity to my new home. Wow. Does not compare to the other krogers I've been to in the area. For starters, most krogers I've gone to regularly have been made over and this one seem dated but still appeared to have some updated products and displays. Cashier/bagger were great! Very welcoming, efficient and friendly, engaging in conversation with me- this pleasant exchange of words made all the difference this visit.. Awesome organic section... So much selection and sales on organic products you could easily spend twice as much for at Whole Foods Market. Very fresh produce. This is a typical older Kroger. It is a bit smaller than most and the selection is limited in my opinion. We stopped in for a gift card, a bottle of wine and a card. The wine selection is very limited. The gift card center was pretty well stocked and offered a good option of choices. I am sure if you just need a few things or the necessities you can find them here. We utilized the Self-Check out system so there was not an interaction with any associates except to say goodbye so I cannot comment on my experience with any of them. read more

There are a lot of Kroger's in close proximity to my house, but I always have the best experience here. It may be smaller but the staff is friendly and the produce is fresher. The pharmacy staff always goes above and beyond and are even knowledgeable when it comes to animal prescriptions. read more

I think this is one of the worst Kroger's I have ever been in. It was filthy, they had a horrible selection on the shelves and the staff did not seem very happy. This Kroger, although very similar to every other Kroger, is still a good place to get groceries. The staff is helpful and know which isle graham crackers are on. So that's always a plus. Overall just an all around hassle free place to shop. read more

This has got to be the most awful Kroger in the Cincinnati area. The parking lot is designed so that it is impossible to have a spot anywhere close. An entire aisle of parking is gone to make space for the drop off pharmacy booth. The other parking aisles are farther away from the building. In addition, they often run out of the items that are on sale. It is frustrating to go to the grocery store have them literally be out of something! This comment is based strictly on the pharmacy. Medications called in Wednesday to be picked up Sunday. Sunday is busy with family and church so at the pharmacy at 8am Monday "hours of operation and courteousness is the only reason they get two stars." The pharmacist is friendly and tells me he will have it ready in 15-20 minutes. Ok I sit and wait. Then comes back to tell me they are out of the medication and it is on back order. Then tells me if I sign to cancel the prescription he can call the doctor and have them issue lowered dosage and then I would just take 2. I obliged and sign. Now what was not told to me was the price was nearly double. Upon finding this out and not wanting to pay double as medications are high enough with my companies hdp and a family of 5. Now I am forced to call around and find a pharmacy that can fill the medication then call the doctors office and have them issue a new prescription to a new pharmacy. Wouldn't be so bad but this is twice in 3 months, I didn't notice the first time as it was in Nov and my max out of pocket cost on medical had been met. Why does this pharmacy not know what it has in stock and alert it's customers with a phone call in the event that their medication can not be filled??? If you have medications that you must take on a regular basis, especially anything with diabetic, heart, high blood pressure, down to allergy medications that must be taken without fluctuation. I recommend you to call the pharmacy ahead of time to verify they can fill the doctors request or use a different pharmacy with better inventory controls. read more

I ordered slider buns for a graduation party and they were not ready for me to pick up nor would the grocery store manager help us find the sandwich rolls. Maineville Kroger on 48 is a much better Kroger, but Meijer is better by far than any Kroger store here in Cincinnati in terms of prices. read more
