This I come in there at least five times a week. I buy a lot of food. So I got some reduced milk. It was real something dollars a half gallon. It said 262 on it. Well I get home and my receipt says they charge me 1198 for 2 1/2 gallons And 242 like they were supposed to for the other half gallon so because they fucked up. I had a ride all the way up there to get it right and yes, I am about it and I think I'm gonna give Myers a bad review. Oh real bad review. Like I said two women were talking when I got up to the checkout line and the check person that was was not paying attention so from now I guess I'm gonna go to the U scan. I stopped in this weekend because I needed an ingredient and the only local place I could find it while searching online was this store. I found the ingredient and several other items. The store is large, clean and well organized. We used the self-checkout so our interaction with employees was minimal but the employee in charge of the self-checkout was friendly and polite. read more

Meijer is a run-of-the-mill grocery store, and this location is par for the course. All of the typical brand names at fair prices. Only annoyance is being unable to get discounts, since I'm not an mPerks member (no Meijers where I live). Prefer Walmart's "everyday low prices" strategy. read more

Love Meijer for most items and smaller quantity not at Costco. Love mPerks. Their self checkouts have more room and conveyor belts that Kroger does not and the machine is not as irritating to out my stuff in the bag. Friendly lady near the check out too. read more

I frequent this location a lot with my partner. We typically go thru the fast lane and always have amazing and friendly service. Tonight I came in and ended up buying some plants from the garden section. The fast lane cashier Jon was very patient and helped me by scanning each of my plants. This was an extra detail that he thought to do without even asking!! Very impressed with the staff's attention to detail and friendly service. I used to go to this Meijer location a lot because I had friends who lived in the area. It's a very basic location. B-A-S-I-C. Nothing flashy at all about it. No cool or interesting kiosks in the front of the store (just a bank)..no, just a bland average store overall. They oddly have a much bigger sit down area to eat at near the deli, but who really wants to sit down and eat at a Meijer? Meijer is an odd company. Their store brand is often priced higher than the national brands. What I tried, I don't like their store brand, whether I choose vegetables, soda, or whatever. (It's tough finding the whatever, though.) They have good food sales with 10 for $10, if you happen to want what they have. I like their mini bagels, because they're much like typical bagels from Philadelphia. I don't eat those tires most places sell as bagels. On the dry goods side, they always seem to be out of what I want, except maybe for cough drops. They also have good sales on that side of the store, but you have to time it correctly. The store today seemed good with low stock in many places but that matches my experience with stores across both Ohio and Indiana. read more

I came to Meijer looking for refill cartridges for my Sodastream. They've been so hard to find! According to the Sodastream website, this location showed that they were available. I asked the salesperson when I entered the store who was very friendly, but she didn't know about the exchange refill program. She politely referred me to the customer service desk. Before I went there I went to find the Sodastream products and they had refill cartridges there. I decided to take one to the customer service desk, just n case this was how they did it. The customer service person seemed a bit surprised at first, but it was only because it's been a while since she's exchanged one. She needed to call over someone to help her, but the transaction was very quick and she was really nice. I did hear her make a comment to the other person that they hadn't been exchanging them for a while. But now they are, so hopefully if you're looking for a refill cartridge this will help you!! read more

I often forget about Meijer. It is a great alternative to hitting Target or Walmart if you need a quick in and out shopping trip. To be honest, I usually hit this store out of convenience. It is located next to Sam's Club in Fields Ertel. When I do not need to buy a specific item in bulk, after hitting Sam's, I will run to Meijer. Surprisingly, they have a huge selection of fruits and vegetables that are fresh. They also have a wonderful garden center. I have gotten my flowers from there every year! They are usually the cheapest and they turn out beautiful. In fact, I usually get my mulch for my landscaping there. They run great deals, and their prices are very competitive to the other stores in the area. Believe it or not, they have some great options for clothes. I am a huge fan of the boutique Altard State in Deerfield, and I have found that some of the same brands from that boutique are carried in Meijer for half the price. In fact, when I wear clothes from Meyer, I often get asked where my outfit came from, as it reminded them of something very shabby chic that came from a boutique. I have also's found some snazzy T-shirts in the guy section to wear to superhero movies. Don't forget to check out their display of ugly Christmas sweaters. You can get them there pretty cheap! Overall, it's a great store to check out for clothes, household items, and groceries. If you're looking for a fast in and out stop and want to stick to good prices, check out Meijer. read more

I was accused of stealing from this Meijer. Appalled does not even begin to describe my sentiments. I was not detained or any of that rigmarole, but I was accused by the cashier, who only said something to me after answering the phone above his cash register. I asked to speak to a store manager, but was denied. I asked to speak to the gentleman in charge of loss prevention, but was denied. I was finally granted access to a customer service manager (and I use that term VERY lightly) who told me he didn't know what I was talking about, and since the manager didn't make a big deal out of it, it must not be important. I even volunteered for the loss prevention personnel to violate my personal space and search my bags. I just wanted to be cleared. I don't know what happened. One moment I'm being accused of stealing, the next moment the very accusers are pretending like nothing happened. The most disgusting part is that, many moons ago, I WORKED HERE. I don't know. I normally love Meijer and most of the store is great. The produce section has gotten disgusting. The past few times, we've seen every package filled with rotting strawberries. Flies are everywhere. I really enjoy that they have longer hours than Kroger and Walgreens, so if I forget to buy a toiletry item that I absolutely need, I always go here. They have a great selection of toiletry and grocery items. I've also bought really nice mugs from here and they have great home decor. The only issue I have with this location is the lack of lanes that are open. They never seem to have enough people to cover the lanes, so the check-out lines can get very backed up. read more

Add this negative review to yet another poor review. We ordered today Friday, November 20, 2020. We scheduled a pick up time between 4-5 pm. We arrived at 4:30 and called Meijer. We were told did you get an email that your order was done? No, no one ever told us to wait for an email. Then we were told that they would get our order together...we waited another 15 minutes then called to see what was going on - they still had not done our order. We were then told to go home. They would call us when they got our order together. We didn't get a call but we did get an email at 6:40 pm advising us our order was ready. A full 2.5 hours after it was supposed to be ready we got our order. This is horrible, a complete waste of time - unsure what the issue is but Meijer pick up is a complete waste. Extremely disorganized- dysfunctional- horrible service - the young man who brought it out was very nice, very polite. Other than that, we have nothing good to say about Meijer. USE MEIJER GROCERY PICK UP AT YOUR PERIL - We will be filing additional complaints against Meijer, this is no service at all. Why even have grocery pick up if its 2-3 hr wait. Ridiculous read more

I shop at this Meijer at least 3 times a week sometimes more and every time I'm in here I always see something to get pissed off about! 8 months ago when my son was on formula they didn't have any for months, yes I said MONTHS!! Every time I went in I would always go to customer service and ask them if they had any, ordered any, or just didn't care. I was always told "Oh we didn't know we were out of stock I'll tell them to order some." I would say ok, thank you and move on thinking ok some will be here in a couple days. This went on for months it was always the same run around like do you not realize I'm the same person you told this crap to for the past 2 months???!! So naturally I got tired of the run around so I sent my husband to ask for it and what do you know they've had some in the back the whole time.... In March my husband came home with some BBQ sauce that expired in 2013 and this wasn't the first time I've had this problem with expired food from here.... Their produce section is just disgusting bugs everywhere, strawberries ALWAYS have mold on them make sure you open them and inspect, as well as the bags of oranges.... Two weeks ago I found multiple displays (yes displays) that were covered in mold when I showed the guy that worked there I thought he was going to get sick.... They've been out of size 4 diapers for weeks and yes I've brought it to their attention! This place is just a joke!! If I didn't save so much with their mperks I'd literally tell the store manager to go screw off. If you shop here check all dates, look for mold, and don't come with the intention to buy diapers or formula. Good luck!! read more

The people who work at the deli are extremely rude. They get angry when you show up a half hour before they close and even tell you to "come sooner next time". One of the times I went, one guy was so annoyed that he had to stop playing with his phone to slice up some meat that he threw his cell phone down (I could actually hear his phone hit metal). I was then greeted by a rude and sarcastic "can I help you?" Another time I went a lady was slicing some meat and cheese for another customer, after she gave the food to the customer she ignored me and took off her gloves and walked away. She soon walked out of the deli area and walked past me and said her shift was over and I had to wait till someone else came to help, (I was the only customer waiting to be helped). It would have taken all of a minute and half to help me but of course her shift was over so screw you (me). I have also changed my mind before at the deli when I would see a worker rub their nose or touch their face with gloves on and then ask rudely what I wanted (without changing gloves). I had to politely say "I changed my mind" and walk away. This deli is full of extremely rude, unprofessional, and unsanitary workers. I have stoped going to this meijer deli. I only go to the Kroger deli now where the people who work there are professional, friendly, respectful of customers and sanitary about their practices. I will continue shopping at this Meijer location but never from the deli again, or at least until management "cleans house" and gets some courteous, professional acting workers (With some training on cleanliness practices of course). I would never recommend this deli. I only hope the management is able to sort out the trouble employees in this department and fix this major issue with the store. read more

Relative to the Meijers in Loveland, OH...... After reading some of your past negative reviews I had to write my own review. I agree with some of the older comments that state how bad the store "is"... well, no longer is the store described as such. In late 2018 and into 2019 they've undergone a complete renovation. The merchandise departments are very nice...easier to get around in... good merchandise. The produce is fresh and displayed clean with fair, competitive pricing. The meat is good and has great prices as is the staples throughout all the other grocery lanes. The only consistent complaint I have is a lack of visible store personnel to help with questions or locating a product. My husband hates going to other grocery stores so when I say, "today we're going to Meijers" he is so happy I'm not dragging him to the "K" grocers which I agree with him needs a lot of help (Harpers Pt. and Montgomery) stores. Shop here at least two times a week. Buy all grocery and other items here. Purchased a carbon monoxide detector only to find out my apartment already has one. Spent 50 dollars in the unit so took back to return next night. Customer service agent was short and rude. I explained to him I had just came from the bank due to my debit card not working. He quickly before I could tell him that put it back on the old card that does not work. When I tried to explain again he handed me a card for store credit and basically said go away. Lol.... Just thought maybe loyalty to Meyer was worth a little more than being treated like shit.
