Love Meijer for most items and smaller quantity not at Costco. Love mPerks. Their self checkouts have more room and conveyor belts that Kroger does not and the machine is not as irritating to out my stuff in the bag. Friendly lady near the check out too.

I used to go to this Meijer location a lot because I had friends who lived in the area. It's a very basic location. B-A-S-I-C. Nothing flashy at all about it. No cool or interesting kiosks in the front of the store (just a bank)..no, just a bland average store overall. They oddly have a much bigger sit down area to eat at near the deli, but who really wants to sit down and eat at a Meijer? Stop here for your average Meijer needed items..no frills..just..MEIJER.

Long lines. 40 lanes but three open

Love Meijer for their one stop convenience but they are the absolute worst for checking you out.

Everyone's rude here besides the greeters. Don't bother asking or calling for help. They won't.

Today I was looking for new dish cloths and dish towels as we are redoing our kitchen. I found a pack of 8-white dish towels for $12 on clearance. I was thrilled! I also came across a very on trend piece of decor for my living room cabinet. It was oblong and had ruffled sides. So pretty!!

They have super cute items! If you are looking to brighten up your home or wanting to swap out some items for more of a seasonal look, you have to check out HomeGoods! Also-- The Mason location is situated right next to TJ Maxx and CityBird: it's a win, win!! The staff here at the Mason location was overly helpful. They were full of smiles and a willingness to help. One time, I was buying a picture that had a little mark on it. One of the staff members grabbed out a magic eraser and helped me try to remove it before I purchased it. Today, I was offered a tape measure to see if the dimensions would fit for something for my bedroom. Nowadays, I feel like everyone is short staffed, but HomeGoods was not. Everyone was helpful and super kind! There were people working the floor, as well as several women working the registers. I saw lots of people who were checking out the store on their lunch break, and I cannot think of a better idea! I left feeling hopeful in humanity once again, as well as with a few items to brighten up my house!

Over the years, I've shopped in 5 or more different Stein Mart locations and I most usually walk out the door with something good and sometimes, something great. I've been to the stores for homes and the clothing stores and the discount stores and no other store has the combination of items like Stein Mart. I can count housewares, bedding, clothes, and snacks among my regular purchases. Part of what makes the stores so good is that they mix discounted name brand products with cheaper but still desirable products at similar prices. When you go to other stores, they try to sell you cheap products with inflated prices that were never worth what they wanted, so that they can sell you on the discount. Then, there are places like Target that have reasonable prices and places like Kohl's that offer massive discounts to shoppers with their card. Stein Mart offers sales from time to time, but their regular prices are good. I wish all stores had me in mind.

They sometimes have 2 cashiers but they always seem to move so slow. I have even watched several employees milling around and talking or organizing shelves while there is a line of customers waiting to check out. It's just so frustrating and the Anticipation of that wait keeps me from wanting to shop here.
