This Kroger is IMPRESSIVE. I have heard people talk about it and happened to be in the area, today. It is HUGE. Like the size of a Super Target. It was clean, well lit, and they have clothing! Their personal care section was really nice, makeup, shampoo, etc. There is also a toy section. I have never seen a Kroger like this. With all that, you come to the grocery store got groceries. The wine section was large and had lots of variety, the meat counter was clean and there was no smell of fish, and they have an impressive prepared food section. They also have a salad bar! I thought the produce section was a little lacking, unfortunately. Also, I had a question and could not find an employee. They looked to be a bit understaffed. This is a fairly new location and sometimes those kinks take a bit to work out. All in all, I was impressed. And possibly a little overwhelmed. read more

This is my "Go to" grocery store in Arlington. It has an impressive selection of wine, beer, and thy have a great deli, with lots of choices, and a very, above average cheese selection. The bakery is large, and they have a nice salad bar, and entree choices you can choose from. It's such a large store for me, I always start to the right of the store for household goods, and work the middle for dry goods, and than head to the back for dairy, and head left for my meats, hit the beer and wine selection, finish up in the bakery section, deli and cheese area is next, followed by the produce section, and check out. That pattern works for me, and I learned after my first couple of times shopping here, I needed a strategic shopping plan. And as a bonus, their gas station is close, too! read more

This store is so easy to get in and out of and i usually stop in for things i need while on lunch since i work in the area. It's easy to find things which is not something you readily find as most stores tend to move things around. Use your plus card to maximize savings and get gas perks. read more

Watch shelf price vs checkout price. Twice in a week asked for refund due to charge more at checkout. This item said 15.99 on shelf, rang up at 18.99. Customer service said sorry, cant adjust becuz its beer. Mngr was kind enuf to refund 3$. So, have to check receipts I guess, cant trust pricing. Also, self checkout software recently changed with integrated overhead camera. So slow now, I will only use manned checkouts. Kroger, shape up or lose us. read more

They allow their stockers to blare VULGAR rap music while people are still shopping. Tons of F bombs, p***y, etc. Totally inappropriate to allow someone to blare that through a speaker while customers are trying to buy ridiculously priced groceries. Pharmacy also sucks. This store NEVER has more than 2-3 registers open at a time and 3-4 self check out registers even though there are 10+ registers and at least 12 self check out registers in the store. It's ridiculous!!!! This is not a new issue, it's been happening since they opened... This is why I stick with the Albertsons across the street. read more

Seriously, add some cashiers. Being corralled into a human mosh pit to checkout your own groceries is completely dumb and a major hassle. I find myself shopping across the street more often these days, unless there are specific products like "Crazy Water", which you have failed to stock in proper amounts. Y'all have a great store, great products, and good staff, so hire more of them and drop the checkout automation, it's dumb. Maybe you should get some robots to put away the carts. This store is my JAM. It's huge, nice and has everything you could possibly need from clothes, sushi rolls, to Cowboys gear to anything you want from the salad bar and fresh pizzas. Win win Kroger. Plus I used to go to the location way out in Mansfield and that's just too far for my local groceries. If your in the South Arlington area stop if you're looking for any different things or new things to try, plus Kroger got some deals unlike other stores. read more

I love the look and feel of this place and honestly I prefer it to Walmart even though prices are a bit higher but I am so upset that the two kitchen items I've bought so far from here are now broken after a few uses. The fish basket broke the day of use and the measure cup handle broke off after it was used at most 3 times. read more

Placed my order for pickup. Received 4 notifications that my pickup was ready/not ready. All mixed messages. The last notification said order was ready. When I showed up very rude lady told me my order would not be ready till next day. No apology for the several messages and mixed message. Show up today after they called to say order was ready- again told no order. Then after talking to 3 people,told have to reprint order receipt. They filled 4 other orders before me. This store is great, it's organized and has everything from groceries to clothes to home decor. What it doesn't have is enough cashiers. I've never understood why they would have so many cash registers but then only one cashier working. Especially at peak times of the day. We pay plenty enough for our groceries but not enough of a discount to feel like you are an employee when shopping there. If I only have a few things, the self check out is fine. But if I have a lot, not only does the scanner have issues but then it doesn't recognize it when you put it in the bag. If I am buying wine or beer I have to wait for someone to come enter a code. I would suggest hiring more cashiers. It's really frustrating after a long day at work to have to work more at the grocery store. read more

They have the chicken breast packaged in two's 10.00 a package, Three chicken breasts, 7.53, 6.63. Two chicken breasts cost more for less meat. Most recipes call for 4 breast. It's a ripe off to those without large families. I wouldn't call 3 three chicken breast a bulk item. read more

I absolutely love this location and do all of my grocery shopping here. The store is big, well lit, and easy to navigate. They even have shoes, clothes, and home goods! I am giving them 3 stars because in recent months the store has lacked in Customer Service. Many of the employees are very helpful when you ask them where something is, but other than that, there is not an emphasis on Customer Satisfaction and it shows. read more

Merchandise is well stocked, everything is clean and organized, and the selection is unbeatable. I have been shopping here since just after it opened and I have never had a bad experience. On the 26th of the month I went to redeem my fuel points. The pump would not let me redeem my 0.40 per gallon from the previous month, the attendant in the booth could not be made to understand what I was talking about. When I went in and spoke to the manager on duty he said he could not help me, it was all controlled by the computer. read more

I love this place. It's my late night jam. Imitation crab, Zevia, and organic coffee call me at late hours of the night and Kroger is there to help. The lady working the self checkout lanes today was not super great though. I won't go into detail, but if you don't like your job, then quit. Don't take it out on the company's customers. 6 months ago this was an outstanding store. In the past two months or so, only 2 regular checkers open, self-check lanes under-managed (it took 15 minutes to check out with 4 items, 6 of 10 stations had blinking "help" lights going), and customer service seems closed more often than open. I went into this Kroger's and spent over $500.00 for 4th of July Festivities!!! I was COMPLETELY disappointed to find the 5lbs of chicken breast I bought from the meat counter was SOURED. In addition, the Boar's Head BBQ Chicken that I bought in the deli was also SOURED. This put a damper on my party, big time. I brought all of this back to Kroger's this 4th of July morning and the store Manager-Scott, didn't seem to care that he sold a whole meat counter of this soured chicken and didn't seem to care. His lack of concern really made my temper flare and I was livid. HE DIDN'T CARE. He sent me to AMY in customer service and she proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't use vulgarity, and I told her she didn't have the right to tell me how to speak. SHE kept trying to tell me how I should behave and I finally told her to just Be Quiet. Her verbiage was provoking and condescending. This is a very nice store. Lots is specialty items. Is large and takes a little getting used to locating items. I have shopped here 4 times since it opened. Unfortunately each time there were items I needed that they did not carry. Also I am very disappointed in the produce department. Hopefully that improves. Albertsons, across the street, has beautiful produce and the national brand items that Kroger doesn't carry were found at Albertsons. I'll continue to visit Kroger, but Albertsons will continue to get some of my business, too. Updated review. Returned again for a few items. This time I needed two lemons. They've only been open for a few months, and already slipping. Over the last three weeks, there were not any sackers, only 2 lines open at busy times, and very slow checkers. Everyone was sacking there own groceries. I'm sorry, but we pay a premium at Kroger for sacking service. read more

I had a horrible experience at store 592 in Arlington tx. I did online grocery's to be picked up with a window between 5-6pm, at 7:30pm I was still waiting. I asked to talk to store manager or next in line which was co manager Scott. Scott proceeded to hang up on me and when I called back, he didn't even care. I then asked for him to come outside and talk to me and he instead took off according to his associates. Scott not once apologized or even showed compassion to his customer that had been waiting an hour and half for their groceries. I asked him if he even helped his associates get my groceries and he laughed and said no. What kind of service is that? I will never do online shopping there again. read more

Do not use click list pickup. Absolutely terrible experience. Placed an order to pick from 6-7, was called and said it would now be ready from 7-8(no big deal). I called at 7:45 to follow up was told that they had no eta for my order. They called 10 minutes later and said it was ready. Went to pick it up was given part of my order along with an Out of stock sheet that had a 1/3 of my order on it and was given no substitutions as I requested. As much as I shop here I know what's always in stock. I immediately went into the store and easily found every single item that I was told was out of stock on the shelves. They obviously stopped my order when I called and they just said the rest was out of stock. My wife called to speak to a manger and was passed back and forth from click list employees telling her a manger was coming and then continually hanging up on her. read more

This store is great. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It has everything that's hard for me to find in other stores, specialty products like my husband's favorite non-alcoholic beer and also whole wheat buns baked in store, tortillas made in store, these are more natural and have fewer preservatives.
