Went here on Monday June 15th 2026 with my dad, but not to shop, it was to get some money from the ATM machine. It is located in the front near the registers. Works beautifully and was able to give us our cash. We went here because our banks use All Point machines, and this was one-- which means that there is no charge to withdraw money. Been shopping there a lot! Bought meat there that made me very sick! I don't know if this was a returned item that someone didn't refrigerate or Kroger didn't have at a proper temp, regardless they should be more careful about putting spoiled meat on their shelves for sale! I have always enjoyed shopping at Kroger's since the area I live does not have a local Krogers. I find healthy items that I cannot find at my local grocery stores.. but went to this Kroger yesterday in this location and was highly disappointed with the customer service .. over heard employees complaining about other employees and not in a low tone mind you loud enough that anyone around could hear them. Ignoring it I totally get it everyone gets frustrated and needs to vent .. but then I get to the register and I have never had such awful customer service .. everyone has bad days I understand that but I worked in retail for years and we always was trained in customer service that you leave your attitude outside the doors come in with a smile and make the customer feel like they are your number person at that time .. wellll not my experience... cashier was extremely rude, the BAGGER OMG .. we spoke to him and he not one time looked up smiled acknowledged us ., I understand some people are not social I have a grandson that is on the spectrum and not at all social but he will acknowledge you by a quick smile .. working in a public setting you need to be more mindful of others.. and even if you don't like your job you might want to fake a smile and act like you do .. remember guys we are spending money in your stores to keep you employed to pay those bills .. But not to be all negative about this store I will say the produce guys was extremely helpful and sweet .. the store was clean and clutter free.. and I found amazing items .. plus the young ladies. Tried this store one more time with the hopes of it improving. I was totally wrong. The produce was wilted and literally disgusting. The meats were poor quality at best and the selection was terrible. Will not be coming back. Just converted to a Publix shopper. I down graded it from 2 stars to one star. I have so much to say about this Kroger!!! There are amazing employees and the pharmacy is great!!!! I am so happy I switched to Kroger pharmacy and I love when I'm able to go with my husband (I'm disabled) so I can see Tone and the other people who work there that simply wonderful! (I tend to think the bad reviews might have more to do with the person writing the negative review rather than the actual store or employees) I'm here to say, kindness spreads Kindness!!! Oh, and the best thing about kindness is, it's free AND easy!!!! I'm so happy with Kroger!!! I won't ever switch! Have to admit they have the best prices and I like the gas points. Unfortunately the shopping experience gets worse by the day. Navigating the aisle is a nightmare. There is so much stuff in the aisles two people can't get through at once. Many times there are actually skids full of product blocking passage. Shelves are stocked during busy shopping hours. The new thing now is employees shopping for costumers with gigantic carts. We spend so much money on a regular basis how about making the experience a little easier. read more

We absolutely love Krogers. We do most of our food shopping here. They carry plenty of choices of food as well as vegetarian, gluten free and other specialties. Terrific bakery, seafood, deli as well as a sushi counter to cover all bases. There is a pretty extensive beer and wine selection also. They also have a great loyalty program which provides lots of coupons and discounts. The best one is the 10 cents off gas for every $100 spent per month for a max of $1.00/gal for 35 gallons. We would bring both our cars there and practically fill both saving $35.00. We have a Lowes food, Publix and Food Lion about the same distance away but continue to patronize Kroegers the most. read more

This store has not kept up with growth. They rarely have enough sale items in inventory so sell out before the sale is over. After spending time combing through and downloading digital coupons they don't load on your card so are overcharged. When pointed out at checkout the cashier may be rude and customer service is nasty. They blame it on customer. These coupons are a nuisance even when they do work. There is too much stuff in the aisles and employees stocking shelves makes it worse. The frustration of shopping at Krogers outweighs any savings. read more

If there was a minus 10 as far as a rating - that would be my response. I just spent over 350 dollars by having InstaCart deliver all of our seafood from this store. Instantly when I opened the bags I saw that the lobster Tails were freezer burned and obviously very old. I got in my car and drove immediately to the store. Customer Service tried. She was set to refund my $72 when another person walked up and told her she could not refund InstaCart purchases. She called her manager. He was rude and crass. He told me NO EXCEPTIONS. I said but it was purchased from your store less than an hour ago. Look at it. It is not fit to feed to anyone. He said NO EXCEPTIONS. Then he told me he was going to call the police on me. I shop at that Kroger all the time. At least once if not twice a week. I will NEVER go back there. I will tell everyone I know what a horrid attitude they had toward me. They're convenient to a lot of people - that makes for a considerable crowd at many times of day. And it's not the "run in for a few things" crowd, they're grocery shopping. The aisles can be hard to navigate at times. The big advantage though is turnover. This store moves enough meat, produce, and dairy that you rarely see anything approaching date and the produce folks do a solid job of keeping their department top drawer. This won't often be your bargain bin store but it's not overpriced either. A nice thing is the wide selection and the reliance on quality goods. While the staff is friendly and helpful, they won't hesitate to bag your bread and tomatoes under some cans - you might want to bag your own if you care. Overall it's a good place for grocery getting - not the sort of store geared mainly toward tourist staple goods runs. [just an observation: the panhandler in the parking lot is probably not really a tourist who has run out of gas to get back home. If he is then he needs a new vacation plan because he runs out of gas here just about every weekend for five years] read more

Kroger offers amazing deals at times, especially with their 10 for 10 specials. But the store is lack luster. Nothing grabs my attention. I feel like I'm shopping in a warehouse. The seafood department always smells off putting. Either with really intense fish smells or horrible bleach smells. It's gag worthy at times. The aisle are decent sized and for the most part clean and orderly. Staff is normally helpful and nice. I have found the baggers tend to throw things in the bags that don't go together (meats & produce or other random items). I really dislike the parking lot and the company that tends to hang out there. I'm always approached for money or something of the like and that is honestly why I've stopped going to Kroger. read more

I was just here on Saturday evening. My friends had taken me out for a round of beverages at a local watering hole called Taco Giraffe or something of the sort and after departing for grander adventures we found ourselves here. The problem is, I don't remember exactly why I wanted to write a review of this place. I woke up to find a note in my phone... don't forget to review Kroger. How cryptic. What did I mean to tell myself? Reviewing the vague memories of my time in this wonderfully well stocked supermarket I found flashes of clarity.... Moonwalking down an aisle en masse until my shoe broke, hot wheels cars that tantalize my inner child, some sort of sweet treat I urged my wife to purchase, and beer. Make your own six packs in fact, what a pleasant thing to offer. I accepted. The real pinnacle of the shopping experience came in the form of an incredible post card that features a true beauty from the late 80's or perhaps early 90's. Clad in a bikini made of dimpled golf ball material while maintaining an impossible angle in relation to the beach she proceeds, she is the perfect example of the words emblazoned on the card... "More Than Just Golf... Myrtle Beach" I bought the hell out of that card and my personally selected six pack. I walked out of this Kroger thanking the universe for guiding me there... or maybe I didn't... I can't really remember. Oh man. I just found a tip that I wrote while in this Kroger: -------------------------------------- Wow. The bathroom here is awesome. Go to Publix right across the street instead the deli staff at Publix will help you out 5 minutes before the store closes because the employees are well Aware they are there to provide a service to the customers of the store. I use a meat slicer occasionally at work and I can easily slice 1 pound of meat or cheese per a minute read more

This is pretty much the only 24 hour place near my house, so I go here for everything from groceries to medicine to wine. The lay out is a little wonky to me, but I got used to it. They have a decent selection of prepared food. The sushi is fresh and about as good as you can get at a grocery store. read more

Reminds me of a Stop N' Shop up north - where you get a loyalty membership to get all the weekly sales! Getting one of their cards to carry on you, can only benefit you! Not only do you get the weekly sales, but your total amount due that you pay for your groceries turn into 'points' on your account. You can use these 'points' to get a discount on gas at their gas station in the back of their parking lot! The gas there is already pretty cheap, but its always nice when you can receive $0.30 or $0.40 off per gallon. At one point I was getting gas at only $1.83/gallon!! It was incredible!! I brought my mother in with me one week she was in town visiting. She said she got a vibe from the store that made it seem more up scale than other grocery stores she's previously been in. Its very clean and organized! They even offer freshly made sushi over by the deli counter!! That's a plus!! Every time I bring the children with me to do the weekly shopping, they get a FREE cookie behind the bakery counter! Since moving here in June.... one of the best things about the area! Love the staff, love the groceries and the location is fabulous! Prices are decent but are even better when they are having sales and I opted for the Kroger savings card... with that as well as the online deals you can link to your card... Worst Kroger store in the area. In fact, the worse I've even been to throughout the country. Employees seem to go out of their way to be rude to customers. We do a lot of grocery shopping for charitable organizations including Veterans and Seniors. In the Myrtle Beach area we spend approximately 20,000 a month and the majority of it has been with Kroger. When you go shopping for seniors or other disabled people you shouldn't be given a hard time about it. I have a grocery list sometimes for 5 people at a time. I get a grocery cart and sort the items in the cart by each list. It doesn't seem like a big deal. There are times when kroger has free downloads I will get that item as well. A few months ago a lady by the name of Liz, brown hair and wearing glasses claiming to be the manager decided to approach me at the register. At first, I didn't think anything of it. I said hi to her and then she immediately became rude. She said what the hell are you doing. I was immediately set back by it. I told her I was shopping for Seniors. Then she said you aren't allowed to shop for other people. I thought she was joking. She wasn't. She then became mean. I told her we do a lot of shopping for needy people including people who aren't able to get out as easy. She then said well if they want the free download then they'll fucking come here. I was stunned by her language. I said do you really think that is a professional way to act. You don't care about people who are disabled or the elderly. Again, she restated if they want it bad enough they'll make it to the store. I asked her do you think Mr.McMullen would agree? She replied I don't give a fuck who that is. I complained about it and I was called with an apology. Not an issue until now. The same person did it again. She cursed again. Her verbal abuse and very unprofessional attitude really makes Kroger look bad. All other Krogers are great with nice people. Just this one seems to have the rude employees. There are a few there that are rude and like to curse. The real manager there should look at firing a few people, but definitely Liz. Because of her actions we are going to address removing Kroger from any future shopping for Charitable donations, red cross donations, veteran donations, natural disaster donations, disabled and senior donations and assistance. Because of what she did before, the others wanted to stop shopping at Kroger since Kroger made it clear they don't support any charities, no respect for Veterans and clearly dislikes the disabled and Seniors. This is directly attributed to Liz. I talked them out of it as I thought the matter had been resolved. It obviously hasn't been and now I don't see a reason not to terminate all business with Kroger. I know that $20,000 a month isn't much to them. I'm sure the other grocery stores will be happy to have the business. An important factor to remember is that no discount was ever asked for shopping there. Grocery shopping was done at full face value. Since the seniors couldn't do the shopping we never asked nor received a senior discount. Everything being purchased was at full face value and allowed by Kroger Policy. No policy was violated and that was confirmed with other Kroger Managers. read more
