The 2 members of our party who were local had never heard of this place. Plenty of ice cream flavors and I believe they make them in-house. I don't remember what flavors I ate. The air conditioning works well and there was plenty of space for us to sit without feeling crowded by other tables. Absolutely a must visit ice cream parlor. Very creamy and unique flavors and the shakes are made old fashioned not with a blender but with an old fashioned rotary blender. Sundaes come with two huge scoops and the banana split comes with three scoops. It was an amazing experience. Service was excellent and my kids demanded to taste so many flavors and the staff were so patient with them. Ambiance was so family friendly. And continuing with the rich family tradition, today marked my 7 month old's first (little) taste of what makes this place a Myrtle Beach ice cream legend. 4 generations of my family has came to Kirk's, and we aren't the only ones!
