This place wants to waste your time, their time, and be inefficient. I had bought some mixing bowls at a different Kroger in a different part of town, and brought them here to return when I stopped in to get a few things. The customer service lady was like, "You didn't get this here?" Incredulous, like I purchased the mixing bowls from some far away land at some random store. I was like, "I got them at Kroger." She said they don't stock them at that Kroger I couldn't return them. She hollered at someone across the store, "She didn't buy them here and we don't stock them, can she return them?" And the person she yelled at said, "NO." I knew all this was wrong. I went up to another lady, who I hoped was a manager, and she said that they couldn't return them because they don't stock them and they have no where to put them. Still makes no sense to me. So I give up, and go get my groceries, when LO AND BEHOLD, an entire SHELF stocked with the exact same product. I won't go into the drama that ensued, but even after showing them they DO stock the item they tried to not return them. Eventually, a manager came over, and the person was like, "Can we return these even if we don't get credit from the store?" And the manager just was like, "Yes." It was twilight zone. I definitely recommend Kroger for groceries because they have great prices and deal's availability daily and weekly that you really can't beat most of the time . This Kroger is 5 mins from my house very convenient for me , My favorite thing about Kroger is the deals they have and the special finds in the clearance area ( can't remember what it's called but it's a lane with mark down items ) . Kroger is open up till 11pm which is also awesome for late shoppers or last min shopping . This location is somewhat always kinda busy but not to a extreme just to where they can use a few more high school students to be on the register. read more

For a grocery store this location is just fine, but the deli is a joke. I ran in at lunch for sushi - they don't have any. Went to look for a pre-made salad & they had 2 Caesar's for $7.99... no thanks! They did have pre-made sandwiches, but not a great variety so I passed on that too. I overheard a man ordering a meal - I looked over & they do have meals, but again, not a big selection. I got a baked chicken breast, green beans & mac/cheese, with a roll for $4.99. Great price!! Th e chicken is REALLY GOOD!! Moist & plump. Green beans could be better. Mac is very good too, so I will be back if I ever leave home without lunch again. This is a lot of food - no way can I finish all of this, so for the price... yep!! I don't recommend this Kroger deli if you are looking for variety. Not much, sorry. I would give 2 1/2 stars, but that isn't an option. They redeemed themselves with the chicken for an extra 1/2 point, I guess. read more

I stopped here for two reasons: It was on the way home, and I'd heard there might be Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavored coffee creamer and lemon Kit Kats. Well, I'm sorry to report, but as of 1-11-2020, neither of those treasures are here. I walked around a little bit. The store is pretty basic. They have what you need, but it's nothing special. I don't agree with the 2.5 star rating here. I've only been here twice and I'm new to the Kroger chain altogether, but I've had no problems here so far. Nothing but great deals and lots of great healthy snack options. I found low carb protein shakes for 79 cents and other healthy items to munch on for a great price. They've got lots of other great deals on essentials like eggs, milk, and lunch meat, even gas at the station on site. Coming from Hawaii where everything is so expensive, this place is an oasis for me. I'm just thankful to have a good, well stocked store nearby with such great prices. Another plus was being able to sign up for membership online, so I didn't have to mess around with getting a plastic card. I'll definitely be back. read more

This is the hoodest Kroger ever. The place says it closes at 11p. I pull up at 1040 and the girl is telling me the place is closed. She tells me this as she's smoking a cigarette at the door. This is the 2nd worst experience I had. The first was when I came to buy shrimp and a kid told me behind the counter that they dont accept ebt. This is my local Kroger. The pharmacy and pharmacy staff is stellar. The bakery is ok, nothing to write home about. . But the staff is wonderful. I typically shop in the morning during the week. I'm always greeted with big smiles and stickers for my little girls by Bakul. He's taken a fancy to my girls and I & I always look forward to seeing him. On June 24th I spent $78 at Kroger's on signal road. Everything I bought when I got home was molded had hairs on it my even my vegan ice cream my vanilla bean was black on the bottom why why why I don't understand that Kroger what I do understand that you are trying to sell everything on the shelf was good or bad but you kill somebody or whether you don't you really don't care as I've seen throughout other Krogers that you all are going down and fast look at your your traffic coming in and out of the store you don't have it anymore but now you're trying to sell garbage. The attitude sucks the manpower is down and the perishable items in the store and the food products are houses to anybody's health back to the store if you sold it correctly and freshly in the beginning. Krogers is one of my favorite grocery stores. They have improved their stock in the healthy food selections. Many of the locations even offer gasoline now too. On top of that, they have a Kroger rewards card! I registered mine online so I don't need to carry it around with me and just used my phone number to enter to get my rewards points or whatever it's for lol. What I do like about this location is the convenience, I usually will get in and out with no problem. However, it is smaller than other Kroger locations. When I go there, I usually know what I want to get. They are limited not only with the healthy selection but they no longer sell any cosmetics! For the folks back home....Kroger is the equivalent to Food4Less. You know, the prices are lower so the quality is hit and miss. I don't cook very much these days, there is no reason to. I am an old lady about to receive my red hat, so until I get some grandkids, I eat out or make salad and sandwiches at home. I rate grocery stores on the quality of the deli food. My assessment: Publix is waay better than Kroger in the deli area ( But Kroger is waaay better than the Wal-Mart SuperStore deli) Skipping the deli for minute, you can get some deals on generic/everyday shit that would cost more at Publix. For instance, the arugula is cheaper here, the wine, toilet paper, rotisserie chicken (mainly for Daisy) coffee, milk and other general shit is cheaper and they are closer to me than Publix. But, like I said...I am a deli person. The cheese here is tasteless. The sandwiches are a bit lacking....but the best thing about this spot...there is a Bank of America inside which cuts my trips down by one. Yeah, sure the tellers are always bullshitting, standing around and talking while the line gets longer. But they did the same thing in Albertson's. It's a BofA thing, not a Kroger thing. So, for as much as I like Kroger for the basics, I'm still a Publix kinda girl. read more

Not sure what the bad reviews are about but I think it was an older Kroger. The one there now is clean and big and has what you whatever you may need. It has all major sections: bank, deli, seafood, hot foods. I've been there dozens of time though and I don't know if I remember a pharmacy. So there might not be one. There's always a line at the checkout which sucks. And they have far too many 15 item or less aisles. Today there were 4 15 item or less aisles open and one regular lane (in addition to self check out). So everyone with more than 15 items was stuck in one lane. Tempted to give 5 stars just for having a fuel station! The store is nice, clean & well-stocked. The only thing that seems lacking is customer service. It could have just been because my visit was on a Monday morning, but most of the employees seemed either grumpy or busy chatting with each other & not paying attention to the customers. This location is an absolute embarrassment to the Kroger chain. The store is terribly understaffed and the employees could care less about the customers.The place is dirty, dated, and poor. Most of the transactions are from EBT purchases...go figure. Food Depot is actually preferable to this Kroger which speaks volumes. Things are so much better now at this location and the managers seem like they are all on point. However, because these two young men stopped what they were doing to assist me made all the difference. This review is strictly for the bakery. I placed a cake order online Friday morning for pickup on Sunday afternoon. 2 days. So I go to the bakery, & she tells me there's no order & no cake. She kept on stating that they would have to order the cake...I know that...& that is why I placed the order 2 days ahead... She said she can decorate another cake for me but I don't want any other cake...the theme I wanted was Frozen. If I wanted another cake, I wouldn't have placed a order. Our argument was going nowhere so I stormed out pretty pissed. She walked over to check her email as I was leaving. She called me 5 min later and apologized. She said that she now sees the email..it was "all the way at the bottom". But she apologized and offered to decorate a Frozen themed cake and a $5 discount. So for trying to work it out and calling me back, it gets a star. But lesson learned. I'm never ordering anything online at this Kroger ever again. read more

I decided to give this store a second chance after a bad experience 6 months ago. Well after living in this neighborhood 25 years I will never go back. I will go to publix or Walmart. I won't even travel further to go to a different Kroger. This experience did me in. I had over $ 200 worth of groceries and I was told they couldn't take over 5 coupons. What? I have never heard of such a thing. I purchase groceries for 2 weeks and my purchase is based on sales , needs and my coupons. The manager told me the same thing. So I left my $200 worth of groceries. I hope they enjoyed losing my business. No other Kroger has EVER had a problem taking my handful of coupons. read more

I only gave it and extra star for the convenience of the store, it's walking distance from my house..My problem is with the produce here, I can't stand always buying something and going to reach for it not even 2 days after buying and it has a stinch or it has gone bad. It's very annoying and quite a waste of money. Matter of fact I always "waste" my money here on produce. They need to get it together, keep up with dates and actually take a look at all your produce. One time I came in and they had horrible rotting organic bananas, I only buy the organic, because my bf is a weightlifter and it's important to him. I go to a worker and I say you see those bananas, she goes yeah they're cheaper now, I said but look at them they are black and shriveled up. So she tells me to hold on, and she went to the back and came out with nice wonderful new boxes of organic bananas.
