It's located right on the corner of North and Piedmont avenues, next to a grocery store and some apartment buildings. There's a parking lot out front and security at the door. I went straight to the makeup section and then grabbed some snacks. It's definitely an outdated Walgreens, but it did the trick. The one employee I interacted with was really nice, I wish I would have gotten her name. I'm sure it fulfills its purpose for the neighborhood.

Ok, no problem. 2) I go through the online prompts, which said that I could pick up my order through the drive through--great! After about 5 minutes, I press the call button and tell him I'm here for a pickup order. He dissapears and comes back, saying he doesn't have it. I repeated that it was a store pickup order, and he says "oh, I'll be right back, it's probably by the photo section." There's a huge mirror on the window and I could see that he was in the back of the area (where he thought I couldn't see him) filling prescriptions. I pressed the call button numerous times and no one answered, so I drove to the front and went inside, frustrated. I waited another 5 minutes at the photo area to retrieve my order. The employee (a different one) said that she was wondering where I was--even though I selected that I was going through the drive thru online. She brought me my order and I got in the car, but something told me to check before I left...keep reading, it gets better! I open the sealed, brown paper bag, and it's someone else's order. None of the things I brought were in there. I walked back to the store, steaming at this point, and told the employee that this was not mine. She blames it on someone else and then says she'll be back. What I didn't realize was that she was going around the store, shopping for my stuff. I would've cancelled my order had I known she was doing that (because they were "out of stock" for a few things anyway). She came back, put my items in the same crumpled up back, and said here you go. I know this was long, but this was a terrible, awful, ridiculous experience from top to bottom. So many things were awful, from the lack of communication, to the neglect, to the inattention to detail. I will pretend this place doesn't exist from this day forward.

Making you have to take the slow elevator with other people since there was no other way to get up or down the stairs. My first visit here I had made my selections and headed towards the self checkouts. I kid you not, when I got to them, they actively started to shut them down. Forcing everyone to use the traditional registers. I wish the customer service here would have been better as well. My doctor's office called and she hung up on them twice. She was very rude to both of us. Uncalled for behavior! I received a text that my prescription was being filled, then two minutes later canceled. I have been a long time customer (dealing with their bad customer service) but will be pulling all my prescriptions and business from CVS immediately. All other reviews on this location are spot on!

Not many people in the store, I sat in a chair, right by the pharmacy for 20 minutes. This has always been a poorly run CVS that just seems to work on a routine of low motivation and no care of basic customer service. This is clearly a management issue and the current one needs to either be seriously retrained or replaced. I ended up leaving in frustration and to prevent me from chewing someone out. The last thing I need is a person sticking a needle in my arm after criticizing them. If you look at the average two star rating, you can see the consistency in how poorly this location is managed. Don't bother wasting your time here. There also have a problem with transients hanging around, living in the bathrooms, and bothering people while also casing their cars.

I was in the Downtown area for the US Olympic Marathon Team Trials and the Publix Atlanta Marathon,…read moreso this location was very convenient. It was also located right next to the Five Points MARTA station, so I was able to buy some drinks before hopping on the rail to head back to my hotel. Their prices weren't the best, but quite okay for the convenience. It was also really nice to be able to use one of the self-checkout kiosks to quickly pay for a few items and be on my way. However one drawback with this location was that there were a lot of aggressive homeless people loitering outside, so mind your surroundings.
