We were visiting from out of town, and I needed to be back in my town about 60 miles away for a meeting first thing in the morning. A friend helped me pump up the tire and I took it to the Wal-Mart store in Port Clinton. Even though it was after 5 pm , the counter representative got a quick consult from the guys in the back, and said they could do a repair before the department closed at 7 (it was a Saturday). The counter man was polite, thorough, showed concern for my situation, and provided detail on what the mechanic said. Also described the repair and gave an estimate. I received updates on the status of my repair by text. Just before seven we returned to the store, the tire was fixed, and the whole job cost me just 16 bucks. Again, the counter man was friendly and courteous, thanked us for letting Wal Mart help, and send us along. The whole experience was outstanding. Props to the great mechanic and customer interface.

This little place almost has everything you could want! It has deli type packaged foods and produce on the way in, drinks to the right (including alcohol) snacks and chips n' such in the middle then fridged packaged meats to the back right and more drinks to the back. We ended up grabbing a bunch of stuff and having a decent night in! Prices were pretty ok and selections were pretty ok! Found a little clearance rack in teh back that had some pork rines and bugles, among some others, which were a great find! REALLY cheap clearance, which is awesome! The older checker lady was so sweet and such a quaint pleasure to encounter compared to the usual busy non-chalant city associates I'm used to. I DEF feel like if we visit this area again we'll be wanting to stop at this cute little place again! :P
