We stopped in for ice cream, and there was a decent selection of flavors. Service was efficient. They are trying to get people in, out and on their way. A sign on terminals indicates that the card readers are slow, but it wasn't that noticeable. Due to COVID-19 occupancy in the stote is limited. The store is requiring masks for employees and customers. Patrons must knock on the inside door to be let in. A parking lot is shared with a neighboring business. It provides ample parking for both businesses.

It's a little town me and my fiancee visited just to get outta dodge for the weekend. We were debating if we should go out to eat for the night or if we should stop by the grocery and grab some stuff for the airbnb and stay in. Decided on the grocery so stopped here due to the intriguing name! I've never seen a grocery & hardware store in one! I wasn't too hopeful, but .... the grocery part was actually very impressive! This little place almost has everything you could want! It has deli type packaged foods and produce on the way in, drinks to the right (including alcohol) snacks and chips n' such in the middle then fridged packaged meats to the back right and more drinks to the back. We ended up grabbing a bunch of stuff and having a decent night in! Prices were pretty ok and selections were pretty ok! Found a little clearance rack in teh back that had some pork rines and bugles, among some others, which were a great find! REALLY cheap clearance, which is awesome! The older checker lady was so sweet and such a quaint pleasure to encounter compared to the usual busy non-chalant city associates I'm used to. I DEF feel like if we visit this area again we'll be wanting to stop at this cute little place again! :P

They offer a large selection of good quality food…read more Today I was accosted by security because I was wearing a backpack, which I keep all my personal belongings in when I shop, including my wallet, phone, keys, driver's license, credit cards, meds among other items. I had put a bottle of something in my cart but exchanged it for the real item I wanted and just left the bottle behind. Security met me in the parking lot. It was not a pleasant experience. I do not think I will go back there.

I know it has been a little bit since the change, but it was a little sad to see. They still offer grocery pick up for those who prefer to pick up their items. Heinen's is a great local grocery chain. They have a nice deli, produce section and wine area. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Overall it is a great place to shop.

As expected, I went straight to a line, told the cashier what I wanted and was checked out promptly with no problems. As I was walking to my car with my wood, a young cashier came running out of the store. She had a bag in her hand as she raced past me in the parking lot. About 50 yards ahead, she chased down another recent customer who had apparently left a bag of his purchase at the checkout. I could not believe how hard this young cashier ran to catch up with this guy before he left. After handing the man his bag, she turned back toward the store with a smile on her face to resume her job. I don't know if I will ever wind up in Wellington again, but if I did, I'd make a point of going to this store that encourages above-and-beyond service.
