A Kroger easily located not far off interstate 31 with a Starbucks inside. It seems a bit smaller than the one in Peru, but was well organized and a little low stocked - out of Kroger brand creamers and a few other things we were looking for. I placed my first pickup order. Mo one told me prices were only going to be good for two more days. And no where on the pricing for this ham says it's only good for the same. They charged me full price. I called for a refund and they told me no. What other store would not refund you when the price marked on it said $15? I don't plan on going back. I'm new to Rochester and don't find this small town store to be worth my while. I visit Walmart from now on or drive somewhere else. read more

It's a nice Krogers but they are always out of things on a regular basis. Especially the produce dept. I won't even bother to go in there until Wednesday because they are out of too much of what I want. I went in at 5:30pm and only one cashier. It was busy. Took at least twenty minutes for someone to call another cashier. I like their meat dept. they work hard back there and everything smells clean. I've noticed a decline there... This is a newer updated Kroger and a great grocery resource for a smaller town. It has all of the standard Kroger amenities found at most Krogers, and the pricing is average for the Kroger chain including floral, bakery, deli, alcohol section, and a Starbucks inside. It's one of the few options in town for those who make their homes there year round as well as for the seasonal visitors spending time at the local Lake Manitou. read more

Very poor attitude with the cashier. She stated that she was ready to go home to the man sacking groceries. I spent $55 and no thank you. It doesn't matter how much a customer spends! A friendly employee speaks volumes. I only shop here when I need something in a hurry. It's worth the drive out of town. Plus so much space devoted to non grocery items. Peru has plenty of others stores for that! read more

Horrible store rude staff particularly someone named Bridget who is rude and berating which is sad considering she's a manager. I tried calling and complaining got nowhere. Never have what you need in stock and most items they have coupons for on the Kroger card are not even sold at this Kroger. They never have anything in the hot food section of the deli and when you ask to have chicken made you are shown cold cooked chicken to buy because they refuse to actually make fresh chicken. The store is always crowded with employees stocking shelves in the middle of the day unlike most stores that stock at night. The only good thing about this Kroger and the only reading it even gets a star is because of Starbucks's even then the Starbucks employees are rude and don't properly make the drinks. Honestly if there was another Starbucks close by I wouldn't even go to Kroger at all. This Kroger will get no business from me ever again and I will strongly encourage my family and friends to go to Walmart instead. Rochester kroger needs some major changes in order for me to ever shop here again. They also need to treat their employees better and people who apply there i once applied and called to check on my application and the woman took my name down wrong and a month later I was called back from Bridget and yelled at in a very hostile tone that I needed to fill out a form at the store to check on my app because she didn't know if I was calling from out of state or something which is completely ignorant reasoning because who is going to call about a job in a total different state than they live unless they are relocating and I was also never informed when filling out my application that there was a in store form to fill out to check on my app he'll not even corporate mentioned this form when moths prior had called when I applied ( don't get me started on this phone call complete idiots) and honestly if your hiring because you badly need employees you would think you'd be nicer and kind because you actually need people to want to work for you but hey be rude it's just loosing valuable customers. I really hope Bridget gets fired though not only was she rude when she yelled at me thru the phone but she was also berating in person towards me when I was a customer definitely not the type of person who I would hire to work in customer service by a long shot. Kroger honestly get better employees that are actually kind and helpful towards employees and applies. Seriously just fire and rehire a whole new staff for this store it's needed . read more
