I contacted this law firm on January 4, 2016 because they claim they are here for consumers and consumer complaints. I was put in touch with their attorney Jason, the only attorney they have licensed to practice in the state of Florida. I had a problem with my new 2015 Chevy Silverado shaking. Jason told me to forward him all the repair orders stating that GM could not fix the problem. He said I would be paid for the shaking of the truck and he would be compensated through GM, so under those conditions I agreed and we started a lawsuit. Later Jason called me and said GM wanted to settle and said he wanted $4,000 compensation for his fees. If I were going to have to pay $4000, I would have never called the attorney and just traded the truck in!! We signed the agreement under false pretenses that GM would be compensating him, not me. A month later Jason contacted me and stated that GM will compensate me the shake. A week later, I contacted him, and informed him that I rarely drive the vehicle and I noticed that the paint started peeling off the truck. I went to three different body shops that verified the paint job was done with poor quality paint. I called Jason to start another claim with them because when I called GM they told me to pound sand, because they already compensated me for the shaking. But, in the contract, my truck still had a warranty for everything except for the shaking. I infomed Jason about my paint peeling. He told me that it's very hard to prove a paint issue. I explained to him that I had three different auto body repair shops tell me that it's bad paint, and it had oil in the paint and it takes time for the peeling to occur. Jason said that paint peeling would be too tough to fight. If he is a lawyer for consumers, and helps consumer, then he should help me. He did not fight to help me because it was " too tough". I have already found another attorney to take care of this issue. Jason has no personality, and he's not here for consumers. He is only here for you if you have a repair order. He will not go above and beyond to take on a good case. This is not a consumer-friendly law firm. I would take your business elsewhere. read more

I had a 2017 Mercedes-Benz SLC43 that had numerous problems and sadly only one problem technically qualified under the lemon law. In short, it took nine months from initial consult to receiving the settlement. It turns out Mercedes really doesn't want to take back a vehicle, hah. My only (minor) gripe I had was with the Florida attorney I was assigned, Rachel, who is no longer here. She was not very attentive or responsive and during the hearing I had to bring up facts and rebuttals that she didn't think of (contradictions from the opposing counsel). I had to reach out to Natali to get any updates. On the other hand, I had fantastic experiences with Natali, Mohamed, and Brent. They proceeded to keep me updated every step of the way and ensured everything was taken care of. If you have a lemon law case, this is who I'd recommend. When I reached out to competing firms before K&M, they wanted me to sign a contract stating I'd still be liable for fees of up to $6000 if they didn't win the case. K&M only charges you a flat fee that they take from the settlement check upon winning. Of course, this also means if you don't have a strong case they will turn you away. Reading some of these reviews I wonder if people realize what this law firm does? I'm currently deal with Erik. He has always responded when I've contacted him. I'm currently going on my fourth month with my wife's truck in and out of a dealership, and once to an independent shop. Yes, it's frustrating. This law firm works on a contingency bases. That means they HAVE to pick cases that they believe are winners. I sure as hell won't work for free! About settlement, well you have a right to refuse any settlement. There posses another problem. So, when they expect a higher compensation that's because there a many variables at play. Not to mention manufacturers have laws that protect then just like we the consumer. After bringing a case to them somewhere between October and January last year - and I am pretty sure it was back in October - it has not moved along very far at all. Having used this firm in the past and getting swift and excellent results I am very disappointed in the service as it is completely lacking. Attorneys come and go like used Kleenex. I have been repeatedly handed over to new attorneys and it's like starting all over. Several attorneys later and counting. Why is everyone leaving this firm? I just want to share you how much this firm maintains phenomenal relationship with clients. One day while I am talking on mobile at roadside a car came speedily, recklessly and hit me; severely injured and went unconcious. Luckily, I was rushed to hospital with the help of friend.
