Overall, the food, drinks, and atmosphere were great, but unfortunately the hostess experience kept it from being a full 5-star night. I had a 7:30 reservation and arrived at 7:35, but waited nearly 10 minutes before being acknowledged. The hostess was quite rude and told me we had lost our table because we were "late," even though I had been standing there waiting to be helped. She eventually seated us at a dirty table and the overall interaction felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. Thankfully, our server Omar completely turned the night around -- he was kind, attentive, and very helpful. The manager Dave was also amazing and made sure we were taken care of. The food and drinks were excellent. The cocktails were delicious, the hummus with warm pita was fantastic (definitely ask for extra bread!), and the melted cheese with toasted bread was a highlight. The fries were uniquely cut and perfectly cooked, and the calamari was top-notch. The view and ambiance make this a great place to relax with friends over tapas and drinks. I would come back again for the quality of the food, the beautiful setting, and the wonderful service from Omar -- but I do hope management addresses the front-host experience, as it really sets the tone for the evening.

Bryce is incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming, remembers faces, checks in at the right moments and keeps the energy upbeat without ever being overbearing. He's the kind of bartender that makes you want to come back because you feel taken care of and appreciated. Jo was also great and added to the warm, inviting atmosphere, but Bryce really anchors the experience behind the bar. The crowd during trivia is always fun and lively, which makes the night fly by. The burger was excellent juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right and the menu is moderately priced, especially considering the quality. Overall, it's a fantastic neighborhood spot with great service, good food, and a welcoming vibe. Bryce alone is worth the visit, and I'll definitely be back again.

It was our first show here. I booked the tix a few hours before the show, no issues purchasing online. Keep in mind, the Improv club is a part of spectrum mall. We arrived a few mins before show start, walked a bit and luckily found it immediately. Irvine is a bit sleepy for night life. The comedian did roast Irvine and himself for that lol. When we arrived, they gave us the option to sit closer to the front or in the back. We decided that night to be in the safe zone and retreated to the back lol 2 drink minimum. Good and attentive service. Would recommend for date night or group outings. I'll be back soon once I check the lineup!

It's a fun concept you can watch a comedy show have some food and drinks, and enjoy the atmosphere. Unfortunately, the cocktails were a huge disappointment. We waited almost 40 minutes for them, and at $18 each, I expected much better. My boyfriend's drink tasted like there was no alcohol in it at all, and mine was so sweet it tasted more like artificial juice than a cocktail. On top of that, my glass arrived completely sticky, as if the drink had spilled while being carried to the table. The entire outside of the glass was covered in syrup and was unpleasant to hold. After that experience, we decided not to order any food. Seeing one cocktail that tasted alcohol free and another served in such poor condition didn't exactly inspire confidence in the rest of the menu. Maybe the food is great, but after waiting so long for disappointing drinks, we weren't interested in finding out. The comedy show itself was fantastic and we had a lot of laughs, but the drinks definitely took away from what could have been an even better night.

The drinks were great and the Guyaba Margarita was incredible! The food was good too with the carnitas plate being the star of the show. The meat was well cooked and super flavorful and a little salty that paired well with the condiments. The enchiladas were good but I had anticipated the chorizo being more incorporated instead of a cheese enchilada but small pieces of chorizo on top. Overall, good experience and our waiter was very attentive. For the price of the experience, I was a little disappointed with some of the dishes but not enough that I wouldn't go back.

My water glass was never empty. Food is not bad but feels underwhelming for the price. We got the steak fajitas ($40) and carne tampiquenas ($55). The carne tampiquenas came with an 8oz steak (pretty dry and tough, asked for medium rare and came medium well), taquitos (also very dry) and shrimp enchilada ~ this was delicious. We came for a birthday celebration and they gave us a complimentary birthday ice cream dessert which was sweet. We had a nice time here but feels like you're paying for the ambiance rather than the food.

The parking is not far at all from the entrance and we really appreciate that. It is also not that difficult getting out after the event, which in some places it can be a total nightmare! I liked this past event, it started earlier around 4 pm, so we had lots of light and it ended around 9:30 pm. Plenty of space in the general lawn area and this time they had picnic tables and umbrellas available. Plenty of porta potties, which are gross but you gotta deal with it! The VIP area was towards the stage and they had their own restrooms and bar. Not worth the extra price to us. You can't bring your own chairs, but several people had blankets laid out toward the front area, where the General and VIP are sectioned off. There are 2 staff people standing at the entrance of VIP so you had to show your bracelet or ticket to get in. We didn't have any food but I did order a couple of Rose wines and i'm scared to see how much they cost me hahaha! I am guessing they are about $25 a piece. The Rose was really good, dry and not very sweet. The girls at the bar serving are all so outgoing and they work fast to keep the line moving. Great venue, and the Great Park is beautiful just to visit anytime.

We had our doubts, but we got tickets and a clear bag and hoped for the best. We were pleasantly surprised. Instead of TSA-level security, we were met with the casual festival ambiance we'd enjoyed at Irvine Meadows and Pacific Amphitheater. There was a good selection of beer, wine, specialty coffee, and food. Vendor and security employees were all courteous and helpful. The seating was all on a level lawn with attached tables between seats. So, not an amphitheater, but a still pleasant venue.
