She lacks customer services relations both on the phone and in person. Places you on hold without letting you know and loves to have the last word. Dr Mehta and his team have made a world of a difference in my medical life. His staff are always friendly, welcoming, and polite and never make me feel like a bother (even when I've had to call them a few times to ask more questions/seek guidance). They were very quick to sort out my many referrals to specialists and get me settled in quick after my health insurance had lasped for 2 months. Dr Mehta himself has a lovely bedside manner and takes very good care of me. He was upfront and honest (but never rude or cold) about my health and my options for care. Just today I called about wanting to come in and be seen for a cold and he and his staff were on their game and quickly got me settled with a couple of prescriptions that saved me a trip into his office ( I am disabled and unable to drive myself to his office so it would have meant spending extra money on a cab/ride share to get there, which I really didn't want to do). Normally I wouldn't put a review, but they sent me an email asking if I could write one, and I really feel that sometimes writing reviews tarnishes the reputation of places with having unnecessary reasons to complain but I feel that Dr. Mehta should be complained about. He was a very good doctor at the beginning a few years ago when I was really sick, he was caring and passionate about his work, put effort into his patients and all that. But over the last year and a half it hasn't been that great. And he seems to push people out of the door more than actually listen. Not only that when I didn't have insurance it costs $100 just to see him for 5 minutes, which makes the experience more worse. The first time I experienced this was when I had bad heart burn, and he told me he would prescribe me antibiotics for my throat since it was slightly swollen, he got annoyed on the fact that I was allergic to a lot of antibiotics, and was very impatient when I told him I'm allergic to a lot of them. Another time was when I had a really bad headache for a week straight, and all he told me was I was overweight and I have sleep apnea, in which I don't, and considered on the scale of the "hight and weight" spectrum I am, but I'm also active, with a little more of a "beer belly" I would say. And he wasn't saying it very politely he was more aggressive about it, wasn't very helpful about anything, and just kind of walked out. And then the last straw was last week, when I came in for pain in the ear, just looked at it, said it was swollen, and said he's prescribing me antibiotics, and then left. Nothing else. Didn't say what it was or anything. I got to the cvs, and they didn't receive anything, so I called and the ladies at the front desk said he would send it out at the end of day. I have been extremely nervous also about having to take antibiotics since I've been allergic to so many recently, so I asked for other treatments, they called me back saying none and said he would send it out. So I waited till 5:30 and still nothing at cvs, so I called the office again, and they were closed luckily they had after hours person take calls to leave messages, I told her to have the doctor call me. He called back around 7:30 saying he would send it in, 2 hours after he was home. To me it was extremely disrespectful, and seemed to be not caring so much for his patients. I'm sure money talks, and that's where he's headed. That's how the medical field seems to be now, only about money and nothing else matters... read more

So I really like Dr Mehta for my mom. She likes him and he is thorough with her. That being said, the waiting room is consistently standing room only and we have to wait a minimum of 40 minutes with every visit/ some times more than an hour. I feel this is very disrespectful to patients and their caregivers and is leading me to switch doctors because unfortunately, I don't have the time to spend hours at the dr every time my mom has an appointment. Then as someone in a wheelchair, imagine how uncomfortable it is to be essentially in the way in an overcrowded waiting room. I wish I could recommend this office but the history of long wait time and poor time management has left us looking elsewhere I've updated to four stars after Dr Mehta personally reached out to me to fix the problems. We will go back before we make a final decision on switching offices but I really hope that in the future, our time can be respected read more

Bad communication !!! For starters my husband went to his appointment after being asked if we were able to come in earlier because some spots had opened up only to get there and be turned away because the dr had an emergency... fine ok things come up but no call ahead of time and they lied saying they called waist of time then make a new appointment and turned down again because we need a referral !! When I made these appointments I was asked if he was a new patient and if he had a referral I said that he just needed a follow up appointment because he had a stroke and a dr from the hospital recommend them they said that's fine they also gave wrong payment information these people at the front office Don't know their stuff! My husband never got seen and wasn't even given any recommendations on who can maybe help not happy at all also they were not very welcoming and he felt he was a bother to them !!! He is never rushing to see another patient and gives every patient ample time to actively listen to their complaints and then he patiently educates every patient about their treatment. He is always on time, unlike other doctors who are always late. He is very intelligent and friendly. His staff always greets everyone with smile and respect. His office is tidy and clean. The office staff was not helpful at all. Sasha in particular. It's a known fact now that with most Health insurance, if not all, there is no copay with an annual physical. They still made me pay even though I brought my outline of benefits with me and said I'd have to call my insurance company to verify and they would reimburse me once they hear from them. In my past experience the office ppl usually call the insurance company for you. Now I have had to waste 45 mins on the phone with my insurance company getting this sorted. Another thing that is more frustrating is that my wife went a couple months ago and they called her insurance the day she was there and got it sorted on the spot. I'm not sure why I wasn't given the same customer service. I know it was only $45 but it's just the principle of the matter. The doctor was great. It was my first time seeing him. I been going to Dr. Krunal Mehta for about a year now. Everything from regular check up to a laceration on my head due to a nice baseball. Anyways, I am glad I found Dr. Mehta and his staff, because by far it been the best experience. He is very knowledgeable and takes his time to explain things to me in detail.
