Unfortunately, when I went to order, I was told they were out of rice and not serving it. Very disappointing. I decided to try the 10-piece lemon pepper wings instead and specifically asked for all flats. The order taker said it could be done. However, when my food came out, the wings were mixed. My husband spoke with who I assume was the owner, and she explained that they don't typically sell all flats because it leaves them with too many drums--which is understandable. However, that should have been communicated upfront, as I likely would have ordered something else or chosen to go elsewhere. The dining area also took away from the experience. The tables were filthy, and we had to ask for ours to be cleaned before we could even sit down. To make matters worse, most of the fountain drinks were out. I settled for fruit punch, which unfortunately wasn't good. My husband and son received their meals, and overall, the food was just average at best. Between the unavailable menu items, miscommunication, cleanliness issues, and overall quality, this experience fell short of expectations. We will not be returning.

I'm still trying to figure out exactly what happened with the tacos. They were essentially slaw tacos, which is an interesting concept... just not one either of us was particularly interested in eating. Neither of us finished our meals. And that's probably the best way to describe the experience: everything seemed like it was just a couple of streets over from being really good. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was pleasant, and maybe we simply caught them on an off day. But unfortunately, the food missed the mark for us.
