Today my family and I decided to try Barn Belly Burgers after reading rave reviews--especially about the Jerk Chicken Bowl. That was actually the main reason for our visit. Unfortunately, when I went to order, I was told they were out of rice and not serving it. Very disappointing. I decided to try the 10-piece lemon pepper wings instead and specifically asked for all flats. The order taker said it could be done. However, when my food came out, the wings were mixed. My husband spoke with who I assume was the owner, and she explained that they don't typically sell all flats because it leaves them with too many drums--which is understandable. However, that should have been communicated upfront, as I likely would have ordered something else or chosen to go elsewhere. The dining area also took away from the experience. The tables were filthy, and we had to ask for ours to be cleaned before we could even sit down. To make matters worse, most of the fountain drinks were out. I settled for fruit punch, which unfortunately wasn't good. My husband and son received their meals, and overall, the food was just average at best. Between the unavailable menu items, miscommunication, cleanliness issues, and overall quality, this experience fell short of expectations. We will not be returning. read more

My husband had the Keather's Double Bacon Cheddar. All sauces are scratch made. Now I know why everyone is talking about how good their burgers are!! A must if you like real hamburgers. We were back at Barn Belly Burgers for another visit yesterday and again they gave us some awesome burgers. The last time we had a simple joe and a southern bacon. This time we tried a Mc Cheezy and I splurged on a Bulldozer. Both were really good, but the Bulldozer with the pork belly was truly amazing. I don't get some of these reviews, this place is great. Hard working owners, good food. I didn't have the best experience my first time here but it wasn't fault of the owners.

The staff is wonderful, but the burgers reminded me of the middle school cafeteria where the unseasoned patties soaked all day in water before they'd plop them onto buns that somehow had the texture of a pool noodle. Also, 6 fries isn't really a "side". At least they had some flavor. read more

They need to hire more people! We arrived at around 1pm on a Sunday and there was just 1 girl taking orders and 1 other person who was bringing out food. They were out of several things including the pork belly which is what 2 of the people in our party wanted to order. As we waited for our food a line started forming out the door. There was nobody at the counter to greet them. They stood there for several minutes waiting (and looking annoyed) before anyone came out from the back room. My go to meal when I visit my friend in Dallas. I love that there is a good veggie option. Their aïoli is amazing. This restaurant is located in a strip shopping center behind the Kroger Shopping Center at 92 and Dallas Acworth Hwy. Barn Belly Burgers is in a fairly small storefront so the seating is tight in this location. There is plenty of parking available in front of the restaurant. They do a significant amount of take-out and Door Dash orders based on our time at the restaurant. We were greeted by a very friendly host who took our food and drink orders. All meals are made to order so it takes some time to get the orders out. My better half ordered the Southern Bacon burger which includes a single patty, bacon, lettuce, purple onions, tomato, pickles, and house aioli sauce. she loved her burger and thought the fries were fresh, hot and amazing. I ordered the Islander which is made of diced Chicken Breast in a jerk sauce, Gouda cheese, caramelized onions, diced tomatoes and Jerk Sauce. My chicken sandwich was seasoned to perfection but I did not expect the chicken breast would be diced and was expecting a whole chicken breast in my sandwich. My fries were also delicious and crispy. The service here is top notch and our server checked on us frequently. My only drawback to this restaurant is the seating area gets crowded during lunch or dinner rushes. Great sized burger. Ordered Togo so can't review the ambiance however, the service was great. I accidentally ordered a farmers hen (chicken) instead of farmers hand (burger) and added an extra patty. The team at barn belly called me to double check my order, turns out I put in the wrong order. I appreciate them for reaching out and verifying it with me. The best gourmet burgers around. If you don't live close to this establishment is worth to drive. Try there signature burger with the Jerk Chicken on it.. I was really looking forward to eating here. This business had been located near Rockmart/Aragon and re-located to a more populous area between Acworth/New Hope. The food was really good and the counter service was very pleasant and receptive. I had the Simple Joe (disappointed in the hum drum aioli and a burger patty much smaller than expected) and upgraded ($ 2) from fries to onion rings. The drawback for me was the price. I paid $ 17.98 for a single patty burger and maybe 10 onion rings. The drink provided was quite small. I was also not impressed as only fountain drinks were available (no tea). The area they are in is presently plagued by some awful road conditions due to road construction that leads to much more congestion in the area than should be the norm. It is also a bit tricky to locate as it is in a small area in a nice but mostly empty shopping center. It should do fine as it is near the bustling Cedarcrest area (Bentwater, etc.) where disposible income is much greater than its former backwater location. After dining, I discovered that there was a special currently that I would have ordered over a burger (chicken curry bowl). The small board used for the special is far too small and out of prime placement for most to notice that are new to the location. So again, no knock on the burger and onion rings here. But due to price and location (for me) I would much rather hand patty out a nice amount of ground chuck and grill my own juicy burger and warm up some frozen beer-battered onion rings. read more

I tried them for the first time through Uber Eats. I got the natty burger, onion rings, and a side of french fries. When I say it was 10/10. My only regret was not going through with the initial order of getting the bulldozer burger. I thought it would be too much, which is why I opted to get the natty dread burger.
