I have always liked crystal burgers, but the last few locations I have been in, I walked out for various reasons. The one here, in Oxford, is the same as the rest of the locations and well deserved complaints.. They have an old sign taped to the door making excuses regarding staffing shortages. Cashier was making patty melts with instructions from one the other employees putting together sandwiches. The location in Olive Branch and Southaven are just plum nasty and would not eat at either of those locations. Oxford was fairly clean, but SLOW, so I left. Don't expect any changes, I've been complaining on this platform for a while, with Crystal reps responding, then nothing. Give up and go somewhere else. Need a Whitecastle. My family and I came into to the Oxford location on 11/29/24 at 6:42 pm and placed our order and paid cash on ticket number 10048. We waited in the lobby for over an hour and 30 minutes with multiple people getting there food that came in after us. I requested a refund which should be easy since I paid cash but the employee said they had a no refund policy and gave me the managers phone number to call. I called the manager and he told me they had a no refund policy and that I was not getting my cash back or the food I order because they did not know what I ordered even with me having the receipt. So the only legal thing I knew to do was call the cops. I filed a policy report against Krystal for stealing my money and fulfilling my order. I have called the corporate office and they do have a refund policy. I am giving the corporate office a chance to fix the injustice. If they are unable to give me my refund back I will be taking the to small claims court. Its not about the money its about the poor management, poor customer service but most important the principle on the matter and doing what is right. read more

If you're the owner of this location you need to pop in every now and then to see how things are run because it is ridiculous. If you are going through town then just keep going. It's not worth the hassle. I actually live here and wanted Krystal burgers. I ordered my food and then sat in the drive through for close to 10 minutes. We were the only people there. Eventually knocked on the window and was told the card didn't go through. Said I would give them the card again after I see the food. Food was given and cold. Card works no problem. Just go to sonic. Not worth it. Let me be clear. It's Krystal's. Fast food. My expectations are at 0. These people suck. Seriously. i've been here three times the past week. every single time i have been denied service. this last time i sat at the speaker for 20 minutes. nothing. went to the window. nothing. the guy inside went to the door and locked it so no one could go in and then looked at me dead in my face, smirked and walked away. the number they have listed is too long for it to work and the corporate number doesn't work for speaking to someone because they want you to complain online, like that's going to solve anything. this place sucks and needs to either be completely restaffed or shut down. i don't understand how they're still in business refusing to serve literally anyone in the line. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. we got 12 crystals four people ate them and we all ended up with food poisoning. one person ended up in the hospital. It was so bad. Will never eat here again. Not counting the last time my cousins stopped by there and they told her she had to come in and then told her she only took cash so she walked away. This place is ridiculous. read more

To start with, this is a brand new location. I was willing to give some leeway but my experience was really bad. My total drive through wait time was 53 minutes. No, I am not joking. Once you turn the corner you can't change your mind and drive away. I watched through the window and they were getting a lot of orders wrong, as people were parking and walking in. They were swamped, it's new and everybody wants to try them. The back door opened and a worker went to go get napkins from the storage and I could see them putting together Krystals on every flat surface available, even what looked like the managers desk. My burgers were thrown together but boxed neatly. There should be some kind of way that they could keep the grease from being so heavy on the burger, by the time we got home the bread was saturated in grease. Before anyone says I'm being unfair, I remember when this chain was in Oxford the first time. It appears they won't be around long this time either, unless they correct these issues. Its Krystal. The food is as expected. I have had several bad experiences with staff though including waiting in line while a group of them sat at a table loudly talking about the customers waiting in line. The same day while I was checking out, the girl asked the manager how to enter something in the register and she walked from behind the counter to get a soda from the machine in the lobby all the while ignoring me and my cashier while we stared at her. KFC went under because of consistently poor hiring and management. Hopefully they can avoid that. read more

RUDE RUDE RUDE! The woman hated that I even pulled up. She even tried to convince me it would be 9 mins on 2 spicy chiks! When I told her that was fine with me, she huffed. I've always had a good experience at Krystal restaurants and this one is no exception. I ONLY get wings, fries, and an icee so I can't say much for the rest of their menu. The wings are amazing though. Best around! The staff has always been kind and accommodating every time I have gone (&I usually go at least once a week). I stopped here traveling through and got diarrhea. It was the worst case I have ever gotten. As I finished my meal, I felt it hit me. The lady was laughing at me as I did the dance to get to the toilet, but by the time I got there it was too late. This is Krystal. Maybe some previous reviewers hadn't visited before, but the small, thin, greasy hamburgers are the REASON to go, not a reason to complain. I've been a few random times and have never had to wait more than five minutes in the drive-thru (start-up issues, maybe?). Bottom line: while Oxford hardly needed another unhealthy fast food restaurant, THIS one is an essential addition, if for no other reason than it's open 24/7. I-Hop, Huddle House, the two McD's... with Oxford's population (especially when the University is in session), we desperately need more options after 9/10pm. read more

i would give them NO STARS but guess what you can't!! one of my friends and i went to get food because we were famished well the lady at the window walked off from us MULTIPLE times and then she acted like she had a hole in her hand and dropped ALL of our change and made us get out the car to find it. then she told us you don't need the penny you need a dime. i will NEVER go back i've never been so mistreated by an employee of a fast food restaurant not even at mcdonald's and that says a lot. i highly recommend not to go to this establishment in oxford. it's a NO from me dog!!!!! read more

Next person gets food and we pull up to window. Somehow a broken credit card machine caused the wait. So now after all this wait, they ask for cash (could have told us this in the beginning!).
