Bam! I got a quick reply on Yelp and KRZ got the job done. My situation: my city's trash service allows customers to have bulky item pick ups a few times a year. Well, they unfortunately considered my stuff "construction material" and did not pick up. I wanted to have the items picked before the weekend. I inquired thru Yelp. I had a terrible experience at this place. First, the staff's dishonesty was shocking. They overcharged me for things I didn't order, and when I confronted them, they refused to admit their mistake. Moreover, the lack of respect for my property was appalling - my belongings were mishandled and damaged. Their team's incompetence was the icing on the cake, as they failed to provide even basic customer service talking about I don't know "anything out this business" even though we've been handling these types of jobs with contractors for over 25 years. Don't work with these guys. Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere and don't support scammers like these. To begin, I am disappointed it had to come this far and me having to write this review, as I tried to resolve the issues with the owner several times before taking this step. I hired this company for trash hauling, and they did collect all the trash for the agreed-upon price. However, there was an incident involving an old air compressor that contained oil, which neither I nor the workers were aware of. I accept responsibility for not knowing too, but it was disappointing that the worker CONTINUED to walk down my cement yard, front walkway, and driveway.. staining everything and even his clothes. Immediate action should have been taken to prevent this from happening further, instead of continuing to walk leaving a trail of oil behind him. The owner offered to fix the situation by using a pressure washer to clean the affected areas for a cost. He suggested returning at 7 am the next day and said he would provide a discount for the additional items, which was some paint my concrete. After the trash removal, he also walked on my grass and broke my sprinkler. Gilbert didn't offer to fix what he broke or recommend anyone who can, but at this point he was just throwing out excuses saying it's easily fixed. I wouldn't have considered this alone as a reason for a negative review - perhaps a minor point to address for the future. The issues began when the owner didn't arrive at 7 am as promised. Instead, he texted me at 7:12 am, mentioning he'd be there in half an hour. However, he called closer to 8:15, explaining that there was a mix-up with the truck's fuel and someone filled his machine with the wrong gas. He mentioned they had another job at 10 am, which raised some doubts. I understand that issues can arise but these guys are completely lacking on professionalism. The pressure washing was finally completed that afternoon, around 3 pm. I was occupied inside and sent a family member out to check on the work. The floor outside was still wet and changes were not yet visible. Gilbert was making excuses about not seeing the paint on the floor and went on about how he would have to adjust the equipment for paint, how he gave me a discount, etc. excuses excuses. I assumed that the job would be done as agreed upon, and it was disappointing to hear excuses about not cleaning paint in front of the door or the lingering oil stains. The next day, upon closer inspection, it was evident that the work was incomplete. The paint specs were still visible in the backyard, the oil spills and trails they left were not completely removed, and the driveway looked just like it did before, despite us hosing down and swept as per the instructions. When I reached out to the owner Gilbert about these issues, he became unresponsive and failed to address my concerns adequately. He fabricated a conversation and claimed my family member said things they did not - I was inside and overheard the conversation. I was willing to negotiate, but he chose to ignore my messages when I expressed dissatisfaction. He said he can refund me 10% and keep 90% of the money. I disagreed and made a counter offer and he never replied. I attempted to contact again to rectify, and nothing. Because it wasnt his way, he decided to not respond. As a result of this experience, I cannot recommend this scam of a service provider to anyone at all. Spend your money somewhere you are not lied to and where excuses are not made. We obviously could've broken our own sprinklers and spilled oil on ourselves if we wanted to do that. It's essential to work with professionals who value their customers' satisfaction, actually show up on time, and are responsive to their concerns. I requested a quote on Yelp, and they were one of the recommended one. So glad they were too! The process was a breeze. They came to my house for an estimate, the quote was reasonable, and paid $200 for deposit that went toward the overall cost. On the day of the scheduled work, they cleared and trimmed my entire front yard, the sides of the house, and the hillside very nicely. I wished I had before pictures because it was just full of weeds and the plants were growing out of control. They even the did the backyard that wasn't part of the work order.
