Can't say enough great things about the entire team at KS Audio. They set me up with an amazing new sound system for my Chevy Blazer and they definitely went above and beyond expectations. So I took my truck in to have backup cam looked that someone else tried to install plus my door handle was broken and reverse taillight bulb was burnt out. So i get message to call him couple hours later telling me whomever tried to hook camera did it wrong and fried half of the settings in the stereo which I didn't see any signs when using it but I took his word for it. Then proceeds to tell me he has stereos for sale and cheapest was 300 $ so I purchased one from Best buy took it to him. Waited there for his"guy" to install it but sat there for couple hours while his "guy" finished working on another car . So total came to 285$ if I paid cash was more if paid with card?? So I asked why so much he said110 for stereo install then the rest to troubleshoot the taillight which was just a bulb replacement and the door handle mechanism inside needed to be replaced but proceeded to try to glue it together which he told me he knew it wouldn't have held it together in the first place so why waist time and even try to glue it together?? So I'm thinking that's still a lot for what little work was done so question him again then proceeds to lie to me and say he had to run the power wire from camera to the taillight to work (camera and wires were already installed and wires ran to deck prior) so his "guy" proceeds to tell me as I'm getting in my truck to leave that HE had to run the trigger wire from the camera all the way to the deck to work when his"boss" just told me HE had to connect the trigger wire to the reverse taillight?? So I get home pull off both my taillights no wire were ran from either one to the camera so I pull out the radio and no wires had been ran to it from the back because they had previously been ran all they had to do is connect the already ran wire to the radio. Talk about dishonest they couldn't even get their lie straight?? So 285$ well 280 in cash is all I had on me to install a radio plug in a cable and wire previously ran change a light bulb and tell me I need to replace a broken piece on my door handle?? I'm writing this review so when people look this sketchy place up can judge for themselves if they want to take the risk of maybe or maybe not getting SCAMMED. Oh then offers me a refund so go down there next day and his wife proceeds to tell me that I got a discount for the services provided. Talk about a scam. I'd go down there and check the sketchy place because it is before you make an appointment for anything. It's to bad because he did a great job the first time I went there to have my stereo system installed. Don't know what happened but the service this time I feel like I was taken advantaged and scammed. You be the judge. read more

He's done work on more than one car for me over the last 7 years with awesome results. Most recently, my amp went out and he helped me install a new one while managing to enhance my car's audio with a converter box I didn't know was already built into my car. Kim did a beautiful installation of a back up camera and a Pioneer in dash radio with AirPlay for my 2015 Jetta. The system integrated immediately with my iPhone, AirPods, and Apple Watch. For years I've had to use a window mounted phone holder when I needed navigation guidance. This is so much safer and easier. Kim went out of his way to help me get up and running, and did several extras. He was prompt to deal with my concerns. And fairly priced. As I scoured the internet looking for an audio installation place that was fairly close to my location and pulled up a lot in my search but none had as many good reviews and ratings as KS audio and now I know why... When I first reached out to these guys I honestly didn't know what I was in for but due to my short window as far as my timeline goes these guys not only made it happen within a short frame of time but it exceeded my every expectation with the utmost highest regards to their reliability ,honesty, workmanship and quality.. For my friend's birthday I decided to install a system in her vehicle well one thing led to another and I kept adding and adding and adding to it tell it exceeded my original budget but given the timeline I gave them it had to be done within 48 hours because not only was it going to be my friend's birthday but she was also going to be taking her vehicle out of state to be with her family and so given the circumstances Kim and the other folks over at KS audio not only were able to pull it off in time but they went above and beyond as far as putting balloons in the vehicle and even asking if it was okay if they added fuel in the vehicle because it was on empty when she dropped it off and of course I reimbursed him but it's people like them that make the biggest difference in people's lives because from it just being a stereo installation they took it a step further and made it personal and for that I will forever always use KS audio and I'm truly indebted to them for making it one of the most wonderful birthday gifts that I have ever given and just to see my friends face light up you couldn't put a value on that and for that I'll always use them over at KS audio and thank you guys so much for taking the time to read this because when looking for the right company to do the work is hard but these guys make it painless and effortless on their behalf knowing how much stress were under just trying to survive especially with this covid these guys even took it upon themselves to disinfect the interior when completing the installation it goes to show that people out there truly care about our welfare and safety read more

Very disappointed in the quality of the work. I contacted KS Audio to install an auto start in my wife 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I selected them because of their good reviews. The job was supposed to take a few hours but they needed to keep the car overnight. They communicated with me during this process which I appreciate. I was disappointed with the delay but things happen. The next day when I picked it up, the airbag warning light came on immediately after starting. The tech said he did not have the tool to read it. To make a long story short, they incorrectly wired the circuit and in doing so, disabled the airbag system. I contacted KS audio and they never responded to my text. While I understand that technical items happen, the item I am upset about is the failure to stand by their work. I instead needed to take my car to the Jeep dealer to have the KS Audio work repaired which was not covered by warranty because the problem, as identified in the error report, was the direct result of how they wired the remote start. All said and done, this cost me hundreds of dollars extra because of the work they performed. Had KS Audio stood by their work of the initial install and offered to correct the problem, I would have left a positive review but any company that fails to stand by their work is not a company I want to do business with. I believe the character of a business is the work they put in when there is a problem. KS Audio failed here by not respond to my messages when the system did not work and by not working to provide a solution. Just radio silence. There are plenty of other audio shops in SLC willing to accept business. Go to them. read more
