The staff there was incredibly nice, particularly Brandy at the front desk and Tina at the restaurant -- they were helpful, friendly, and very efficient. The bar had a great beer & wine selection, and the food was delicious -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A great experience all around!

Immaculate restrooms on the course and in the clubhouse as well as reasonably priced food. Our food took a little longer than expected so they offered to bring it to us on the course. Not something I was expecting but certainly appreciated. There were two separate marshals on the course the day we played and helped my duo to play through back to back foursomes in front of us. Overall great service and place to get away. I hope to be back in the future.

For those on cycles, the each carport could easily handle 4 bikes if parked thoughtfully. They are also paved, but the road leading in to them is hard packed gravel. It was still easy to navigate on the bike. The place is in a very quiet area, with beautiful scenery all around. I liked the chairs out on the porch to rest and just chill. The Trapper Saloon is just down the street and is kid friendly. There are more food choices a little further into town. The room itself was decent. Not the most updated place for charging devices. The carpet was well used and little things like the bathroom missing a toilet paper holder are what to expect. (They did have a sticky on it to apologize.) The room I was in had a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, not Keurig type as advertised. No biggie to me though. When checking in, the woman at the desk was very friendly and they have an assortment of local ware for sale there. Overall a good experience.

Oh my gosh the portions were huge! The salad was enough for a party of 2 with lots of garnishes on it, the prime rib was cooked to perfection and was at least a 16oz portion served with a huge loaded baked potato and straight horseradish. I mean it this prime rib was so tender and flavorful. Really I can't believe we hadn't heard that this place was serving such great meals. Dessert was either a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a slice of cheesecake with chocolate drizzled on top. Totally a fabulous meal!!! A week later: We decided to go back for another birthday celebration and there was a few other entree's tried. My husband ordered the New York steak which was at least a 16oz thick tender and flavorful steak he almost couldn't eat it all because it was so big. As great as it is to visit Missoula, we usually get out and have an adventure and since she has fallen in love with the Whitefish area we decided to spend a couple of days there and lucked into staying at this world class lodge. Oktoberfest was going on so the town was abuzz and rooms were limited and Megan booked this for us, the last room they had. I have a feeling we just were in the right place and the right time with a cancellation or something because this place is something special. As you can see from my pics and others, this place is spectacular. The towering rock fireplace, the family-style dining area, my room was spacious, welcoming, and cozy. The bed was perfect, I slept so well in the cool Montana air! We were graciously fixed a delicious western Montana breakfast of sausage, pancakes, and a large bowl of fresh fruit- all with excellent coffee. But as with most places like this, it's the staff that really makes a difference. We were treated so well. Everyone took time to chat, give us the 4-11 on the area (bears and bikes). We were given ample time to check out and enjoyed time on the patio and drinking coffee by the fireplace. Whitefish has become a four-seasons destination and I can't believe there is a better lodge in the area, make this your first choice and you won't be disappointed!

Just beautiful and peaceful and relaxing on the lake with so much to do. And the owners were friendly and gracious. The whole property is so well kept, and the cabin itself had all the amenities you could need. Lots of special, unexpected touches - like ingredients for making s'mores at the nightly campfire. One night, they put up a big screen and played a kid-friendly movie. Also, wifi was great everywhere on the property. Plenty to do nearby - hiking trails, Whitefish, Glacier National Park (of course). We picked huckleberries! Can't wait to go back!

The rooms are rustic and clean..Some dust etc but it's the first in Montana! Washing machines on site. Very homey in the hunting cabin style. Everyone was so kind.
