Not a terrible place to spend a night, as long as you don't mind older accomodations…read more I've stayed here a couple of times while working in Eureka, mostly because there are not a lot of other choices and I enjoy staying a motel connected to a gas station/convenience store/Subway. Seriously - you check in for the motel at the convenience store counter. The place is old, perhaps very old, and not in very good shape. But the beds are comfy enough, the doors and windows lock (though my last room only had the doorknob lock and no deadbolt - kind of weird, but it is BFE Montana, I guess). Furniture is worn and looks a bit dirty even when it is clean. The staff I've talked to have always been friendly and the place is good enough, especially for $62/night. Last time I was here I had my wife and dogs, I think it might have been a few bucks more for each of them. Another negative - the Ksanka is at least a mile from "downtown" Eureka and not a very walkable place. Bottom line: my loyalty might be tested if there were more choices in Eureka, but the Ksanka isn't terrible. Probably 2.5 stars, but I rounded up because 2 sounds too crappy and it's not really that bad.

The room was spacious, clean, with a nice view, large bathroom area, and a fridge, coffee machine, and free water & assorted beverages. It was also in a building that was centrally located -- near the fitness area and across from the clubhouse which has the restaurant and the gift shop. The staff there was incredibly nice, particularly Brandy at the front desk and Tina at the restaurant -- they were helpful, friendly, and very efficient. The bar had a great beer & wine selection, and the food was delicious -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A great experience all around!

Immaculate restrooms on the course and in the clubhouse as well as reasonably priced food. Our food took a little longer than expected so they offered to bring it to us on the course. Not something I was expecting but certainly appreciated. There were two separate marshals on the course the day we played and helped my duo to play through back to back foursomes in front of us. Overall great service and place to get away. I hope to be back in the future.

Oh my gosh the portions were huge! The salad was enough for a party of 2 with lots of garnishes on it, the prime rib was cooked to perfection and was at least a 16oz portion served with a huge loaded baked potato and straight horseradish. I mean it this prime rib was so tender and flavorful. Really I can't believe we hadn't heard that this place was serving such great meals. Dessert was either a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a slice of cheesecake with chocolate drizzled on top. Totally a fabulous meal!!! A week later: We decided to go back for another birthday celebration and there was a few other entree's tried. My husband ordered the New York steak which was at least a 16oz thick tender and flavorful steak he almost couldn't eat it all because it was so big. Another one of our guests ordered the garlic shrimp scampi, and it was another hit with 6 very large shrimp! So whatever you choose you won't be disappointed here!

We actually traveled for over 2 months this summer, and this was by far our favorite stop. Within 10 minutes of arriving, we extended our stay for another week. Just beautiful and peaceful and relaxing on the lake with so much to do. And the owners were friendly and gracious. The whole property is so well kept, and the cabin itself had all the amenities you could need. Lots of special, unexpected touches - like ingredients for making s'mores at the nightly campfire. One night, they put up a big screen and played a kid-friendly movie. Also, wifi was great everywhere on the property. Plenty to do nearby - hiking trails, Whitefish, Glacier National Park (of course). We picked huckleberries! Can't wait to go back!

From the awesome game room, horseshoes, corn hole, fire pit, to the canoes and rowboat, there was something for everyone! The best part was sharing the beginning and end of each day preparing and eating our meals in the fabulous kitchen/dining room. With the massive island, industrial walk-in fridge and restaurant style dishwasher, prep and clean up was a breeze. The rooms are rustic and clean..Some dust etc but it's the first in Montana! Washing machines on site. Very homey in the hunting cabin style. Everyone was so kind.
