I love staying here! We happened across it last year for our anniversary and came back this year. The cabins are cute and comfortable.

This is our 2nd time staying here traveling on motorcycles 2 years in a row with 6 people, 2 in each queen cabin. Last year we were riding home from visiting Banff Canada and it was a perfect place to stay overnight just over the border into the US. The cabins are cute, comfy and have their own carports. The back doors open to a huge grassy recreation area with basketball sport courts and covered picnic areas. The staff is very friendly and we would stay here again for sure!

If you are looking for a nice place to stay on the way to Glacier or from don't overlook this Lodge. Located only five miles out of Eureka and nestled in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies it is a very clean little place with beautiful surroundings. The trees and landscaping are very well kept. There are duplex cabins located on both sides of a big meeting hall where they have a continental breakfast every mourning. They also have wedding receptions, family reunions and other things in the very large hall. The cabins are very spacious and also have a small frig. and microwave, Dish TV and free wifi that works very well out in the cabins. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay and extra day. Don't overlook them if you are traveling in the area.

Best Montana family reunion cabins around!

Not a terrible place to spend a night, as long as you don't mind older accomodations…read more I've stayed here a couple of times while working in Eureka, mostly because there are not a lot of other choices and I enjoy staying a motel connected to a gas station/convenience store/Subway. Seriously - you check in for the motel at the convenience store counter. The place is old, perhaps very old, and not in very good shape. But the beds are comfy enough, the doors and windows lock (though my last room only had the doorknob lock and no deadbolt - kind of weird, but it is BFE Montana, I guess). Furniture is worn and looks a bit dirty even when it is clean. The staff I've talked to have always been friendly and the place is good enough, especially for $62/night. Last time I was here I had my wife and dogs, I think it might have been a few bucks more for each of them. Another negative - the Ksanka is at least a mile from "downtown" Eureka and not a very walkable place. Bottom line: my loyalty might be tested if there were more choices in Eureka, but the Ksanka isn't terrible. Probably 2.5 stars, but I rounded up because 2 sounds too crappy and it's not really that bad.

Roll forward a year, and boy what a change! I have now been there twice in two months and even bought a piece of land to develop there, that's how much I love it. Here is what I encountered... First of all, I'm not a golfer. My family and I were looking for a break and vacation. The first time, I stayed at the main lodge. Accommodations were ok. Two queen beds per room with a bathroom. Four bedrooms per side of the lodge (two sides total) with a nice communal area in the middle that has a gorgeous fireplace, living room and dining table. I had to ask for my room to get cleaned which during COVID was a pain and they didn't seem to have enough staff to accommodate. Things have really turned around. The last two times I have stayed in cottages instead-- I highly suggest going this route! The bedrooms are just as roomy as the rooms in the lodge but they are full cottages with private kitchens and living rooms and gorgeous private decks that have dining table, BBQ, and jacuzzi. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are well stocked. The kitchens have everything I've needed to cook (minus food-- but the store is just a few minutes of driving away). Most importantly, you go there for the setting. It's special. The wilderness club is set in the middle of mountains, at the foothills of Glacier National Park... so much sky, lakes, nature-- there are deer and wild turkeys walking around. The setting itself is peaceful, quiet, restocking. The people there are friendly-- everyone waves as you walk by. The staff is attentive and bends over backwards. If you get to chat with the owners of the resort, you will see that they are passionate about what they are building-- a luxury resort in the middle of one of the most stunning natural areas ever. And they respect the land, the people, the setting. During the summer, there are tons of activities for families. When we were there last week, there was live music at the Club during dinner. And on Fridays they set up for movies in the meadow where they roast marshmallow and show family friendly flicks. Nearby is the town of Eureka (5-10 minute drive)-- which has a charming little downtown with old fashioned looking stores. There's a couple of stores that sell local produce and meats. I loved it so much I decided to buy a plot of land there. I want my kids to go back for years, to experience what it's like to disconnect each summer, to make friends and run around in the grass and fields. You will spend your days taking in the beauty, talking walks, leaving electronics behind. This is a place you come to restock your soul.

The staff there was incredibly nice, particularly Brandy at the front desk and Tina at the restaurant -- they were helpful, friendly, and very efficient. The bar had a great beer & wine selection, and the food was delicious -- breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A great experience all around!

We heard they served dinner in the bar on the weekends and decided to give it a try because one of our friends was having a birthday so we thought we'd give it a whirl. We called ahead since it was going to be a party of 6 and our table was ready. Nice view from the window and clean and really comfortable chairs. The menu was a small plastic holder with I believe 6 choices: Prime Rib New York Steak Shrimp Scampi Salmon And Lobster Includes: Salad Vegetable Baked potato Dessert All of us ordered the prime rib. Oh my gosh the portions were huge! The salad was enough for a party of 2 with lots of garnishes on it, the prime rib was cooked to perfection and was at least a 16oz portion served with a huge loaded baked potato and straight horseradish. I mean it this prime rib was so tender and flavorful. Really I can't believe we hadn't heard that this place was serving such great meals. Dessert was either a brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a slice of cheesecake with chocolate drizzled on top. Totally a fabulous meal!!! A week later: We decided to go back for another birthday celebration and there was a few other entree's tried. My husband ordered the New York steak which was at least a 16oz thick tender and flavorful steak he almost couldn't eat it all because it was so big. Another one of our guests ordered the garlic shrimp scampi, and it was another hit with 6 very large shrimp! So whatever you choose you won't be disappointed here!
