Though I went back right away, I sat there for about 30 minutes before someone came over to start working on me. Now, I do wish they would have told me how long of a wait it was gonna be but I was grateful that I wasn't just sitting in the lobby waiting and that my feet was soaking in the hot water. I love a super hot foot soaking so being there for that long, I was ready for a water change. The salon is very clean and everything seemed in order with their tools being cleaned and sealed in their plastic wraps. Last nail tech left my nails under gel curing lamp too long which caused a week long dull ache in finger tips. I have been coming here for some time I always get good service but today was just not it I felt rushed and for someone to be spending almost 200 on a service the way I was services today was ridiculous. Came in for a pedicure with my husband and the idiot working on his feet thought she could "trick" him on spending more money on a pedicure. She is either too stupid or deaf because she continued making other remarks about how she'd give us the 20% discount because we look cheap. I'm sad to be the first critical review of this business. Let's get straight to it! I was excited to try a newer business in the area. I think it's so important to frequent our small businesses and lift them up during this hard season. The good. These guys knocked my pedicure out of the park. I chose the $50 pedi with the hot rocks and I loved it all. Their massage chairs are also amazing. I was cramped for time and I almost had to cancel my mani but they came through and gave me a manicure on the fly while I was getting my pedi. I really appreciated that! The price was also right, $65 for mani and pedi. The value was on point. The bad: They don't clean their pedicure basins between clients. I thought that perhaps I was just imagining things, but nope. 3 clients sat with no cleaning between and that was enough for me to not ever patronize this business again, which pains me because I live so close and my pedi was really good, but risking my health is not worth a return visit. I went in with a design in mind, got put with one of the guys, he began to remove my nail polish, fill in my acrylics and everything was super rushed. I asked him to shorten my nail length because of my workplace and he just shortened my nails without making sure they were even. He was rough, dismissive and looked rushed. Even after i asked for a standard pedi, she told me that $40.00 was the minimum. I don't mind paying for upgraded services... Don't get me wrong but I do hate being deceived. (Their online menu had a basic pedi for $35.) Also, you expect a nIce massage and her technique was so weak and the massage was short lived, I guess the salon does not want new business. I was in need of an emergency pedicure for Memorial Day! I had to stop by and return stuff to old navy and saw there was a salon the same plaza. I asked how long the wait would be for a pedicure and they said they could take me right away - that was at 3:35. They told me to pick my color and go sit wherever I wanted in the back, so I did just that. It is now 3:56 and the guy just now started on my feet. He kept getting up and sitting down like ten times. I had another appointment at 5 and was trying to do some stuff before that appointment. Once he sat down I asked him if there was anything to drink and he offered me soda, water or wine. I went with white wine. I also decided to go with the lavender eruption pedicure ($55) and it includes hot stone massage. He was very tentative and paid close attention to my toes. I have tiny nails so I always get nervous when someone new tried comes along and tries to do them. He did very good and made them all even and listened to my instructions for not cutting and just to file them down. Once we got to the good part (the massage) he started with the exfoliant portion of the massage. It was pretty nice about 2 minutes each leg and he did a pretty good massage rather than just rubbing the scrub into my legs. The next step in the pedicure was the collagen mask - never had that portion before but it felt pretty nice and refreshing on my legs. Because this one comes with hot stones they use the hot stones with the mask. Before he did the hot stones he did some pressure on my feet that felt amazing! It was like preparing me for the hot stones ! The hot stones were great and relaxing and the. He topped it off with the lotion and final massage and it was great ! Overall the massage and everything was pretty amazing ! If I didn't have to wait all that extra time I would have given this lance 5 stars, but because they told me one thing and then made me wait I can't give them the full 5 starts. I received services from this salon 2 different times, with 2 different people. It was AWFUL!. The first time, my nails looked awful, it was as if the person did not know how to do nails. SHOCKING right?. The second time, they only began to give me service when I started to leave. Then the man that completed my service, applied the wrong color of DIP, and then tried to put something over the dip (another process over it to correct the color), Instead of removing the wrong dip. I guess that might have cost them more than 13 cents. It was an awful experience, I will never go back. Be very careful. The dip turned yellow the next day.
