It's your typical dive local bar the had pool and darts. The service was great! Chad was amazing very attentive and polite definitely will be back, didn't have any food just drinks.

Yeah, this wasn't it. I came here on my own on a Friday night looking for beer and food. I grabbed a seat at the bar and saw that the beer options were quite limited. I got quick service and ordered the pork tenderloin sandwich with pork rinds. The tenderloin was good, but the sandwich was dry. Too much bun and no mayo. Also, wouldn't some dipping sauce go well with the pork rinds? The decor was basic and the DJ was struggling. I am actually in Plainfield a few times a year, but I won't be back here.

Had a blast passing through town. It was late but found this little gem . They had Karaoke going. Bartenders were very nice and attentive, they had to cut me off, which is a good thing, you know you're getting good drinks. Plenty of room and they have a couple of pool tables. We got a burger to go, but I didn't get a picture. Definitely check out if ever in town.

KTs is a place that I usually go to cap off a night out. Food is super greasy, but sometimes that's what the body needs after a night out! The service really is hit or miss here, I've had great service here with great conversations with the bartenders, and other nights I feel like I couldn't even get anyone to make me a drink or cash me out even if I had a marching band behind me. They have 3 pool tables here and dart games if you'd rather do something while drinking. Drinks are made with a good amount of liquor, and theyre cheap.. The place does smell old and smokey on the inside, but would it be a true hole in the wall bar if it didn't smell like this? This is a place I visit every once in awhile. Check it out for yourself!

Hole in the wall bar. The food is terrible. The service is hit or miss. There are pool tables, darts , outdoor seating, TVs and a dj. I keep coming back because it's open late and in a convenient location.

    Condiments, anyone?

The front desk attendant at the hotel gave us a double thumbs up on the nearby Coachman Restaurant and Lounge so we made our way over with rather high expectations. We have to admit that at first glance the Coachman doesn't suggest a superior dining experience. A somewhat tired exterior and an outdoor deck populated by smokers gave us pause but we pressed on and could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the food, drink, and service. We started with a Casamiga Ranch Water and a pint of the local amber ale. The drinks arrived in frosted glasses with the perfect degree of crispness. The star here is the prime rib. We had the 12 ounce prime which was perfectly rare and served with a large dollop of horseradish as well as a medium rare prime rib sandwich. The meat was flawlessly seasoned and impeccably tender. Our visit to the Coachman reinforced the adage that one ought not judge a book by its cover. We don't know if our adventures will take us through Plainfield again but if they do we will prioritize a meal at the Coachman!

The place has a great ambience very welcoming. The hostess greeted me very promptly and with a great smile, my server Chloe was fantastic very well informed and suggested I try the prime rib. I'm so glad I did. It was fantastic. I took the smaller cut the 8 ounce they gave you two sides. I chose the French onion soup and baked potato and everything was great. The 8 ounce was plenty big with the two sides so I'm glad I didn't get the larger one. I will be back if I'm in the area. She suggested I try the pork tenderloin next time so I will do that. Keep up the great work.

Loud trucks aside, it was a good move (and the trucks added "character!) They make all of their beers and they have quite a selection. I even found a Belgian Triple! It was my lucky day. I ordered Mandarin Grilled chicken salad (I realized there were absolutely no mandarin oranges. Come to find out AFTERWARDS they're out of mandarins. The kitchen needs to wake up, even for a Sunday.) It was okay, the feta was definitely not fresh, likely prefab, but the chicken was really good. And the dressing (supposedly homemade) was a nice dipping sauce. I also ordered the Beer braised beef panini. It had horseradish inside. Really nice bread and cooked to perfection. And last, my server, Jordyn. She was friggin awesome. She made me feel like I was just hanging out on her back porch. So friendly and helpful.

The dining area has televisions to view places around the area. I wasn't really hungry, so I just took a gamble and ordered the Buffalo Cauliflower. It took about 8 minutes for my food to be prepared, and it was hot and fresh. I was very pleased with my order. To my surprise, the cauliflower was very tasty and flavorful. I highly recommend. I highly recommend checking this place out. It has a wonderful vibe and atmosphere, top-notch service, and some delicious food. I hope to make it back here soon.

I also dont think the exterior pictures on yelp are current since this location had 2 garage doors up front and there was smoking possible inside. If you are a smoker thats great for you! I am not but my wife is so finding this by accident was fun since they could smoke @ the table while watching football and not disappearing all the time to go outside haha! Overall it is pretty open inside with some dart machines i have never seen before by a different vendor which looked cool but also a couple normal Bullshooter ones. The appetizer we got were really good and great quanity for the price. Our waitress/bartender who was running the whole front did an excellent job keeping on top of everything. If you like sports and smoke you should go here. Hopefully that parking lot stuff gets taken care of. Ride share with a friend that has a small sedan!

Our server Emily was cheerful and informative. A parking garage across the street served us well for dining at this restaurant and attending an event at Hendricks Live across the street. The shrimp cocktail appetizer featured fresh large shrimp with dollops of horseradish on the plate and a nice sauce. I enjoyed the steak frites entree, a generous portion of steak perfectly cooked, served with a delicious broccolini and tasty fries. My sister ordered the chicken marsala and noted that she would have liked more sauce, and the truffle potatoes were delicious. My brother said his huge pork chop was perfect, and my sister in-law recommended the sirloin steak. We had reservations and were seated at a high top table, which is not my preferred way to dine but the restaurant was full so we didn't ask to be moved. We had a bit of a wait for our entrees and chalked that up to it being Saturday night. There is a separate bar area and rooftop dining with igloos available.

Eh, fell a bit short for me…read more The ambiance and vibes are great! Service was great as well!! The food is where it fell short for me. I drove an hour to visit this place and saw lots of good reviews. I started off with a lemon drop and a snack short rib eggroll. The lemon drop was watery and just did not hit like I would have hoped (I'm a lemon drop girly). They do use Titos as their well so that was good. The egg roll was dry- you definitely need to dip in the wasabi aioli to make it palatable. Next up were the buffalo chicken hush puppies. I like the idea here. The inside was moist and flavorful and the outside was kind of dry and drizzled with what I think was ranch. They were ok. I have a Ceaser salad add chicken and "fried" Brussels sprouts. The salad was suppose to come the onions , there were none so the waitress brought me some. The salad was mid at best and the chicken was dry and unflavored. I asked for some spicy ranch and that saved the salad! The Brussels sprouts were pretty good. My friend had the potato soup and said it was very watery (not creamy at all). I enjoyed the live music and overall vibe but good was average. Parking is an issue as well. There is parking in the rear or a parking garage but not super convenient parking.
