Went around 1:30 on a Saturday. We basically had the whole place to ourselves. Service was quick. Loved the ambiance and the food came out fresh and hot. The Nashville Hot Chicken Mac was the Mac of the Month. Nashville hot covered chicken, fried pickles, and chopped regular pickle. It was good... but HOT. My entire mouth was on fire. Needed some type of cooling aspect...tomato, ranch, something.... The Buffalo Chicken Mac had Buffalo sauce covered chicken, tomato, and blue cheese. It was much more mild. Husband and I don't really enjoy blue cheese, but you can't really taste it. Flight was fun. Tons of options to choose from. We love a good flight. read more

We have passed this many may times on our way to Putnam County and back. Tonight friends joined us here for dinner. They have lots of space in the dining room but the bar seemed the place to be. Most of the customers were in there when we were sat in the other room. Service was good, food was basic. Not great not bad. We got cheese curds and cauliflower wings in buffalo sauce. Both were good. Aioli served with the cheese curds had little taste. Blue cheese dressing with cauliflower wings was good. I got fish tacos and Caesar salad. I didn't really care for the fish. I think they were beer battered or something and I could taste something kinda off. Husband got pilled pork with tots and liked them. Other friends got burger, fish tacos and a chicken wrap. God Son liked his burger. Friend liked her fish tacos till she saw green onion. She had asked if they had green onion in items but didn't specifically say it was an allergy. Good beers. Busy on weekends and a bit noisy but overall good food. They need to bring back the smoked brisket sandwich which was by far their best sandwich. We had a great time at Brewlink today. This was Baxter's second trip to hang out on a restaurant patio. Again, he was well behaved and happy to be with us. The main dining area is large with 4 top tables and 5 or 6 flat screens to enjoy sports. The bar area has 24 beers on tap, serves liquor now, has high top tables, and bar stools. The patio area is large with picnic tables on the deck and a large gavel area for games (corn hole) and live band. The menu is versatile with so many delicious options. Appetizers (chicken wings, chili, nachos), wonderful, fresh salads, Strawberry Fields or Cajun Steak) burgers, tacos (Taco Tuesdays), Sandwiches (Tenderloin, Texas Brisket, Pulled Pork, Entrees (Glazed Salmon, BBQ Ribs) and 5 types of Mac n Cheese. My husband ordered the tender, grilled tenderloin with cajun seasoning and tots. He kept saying how tender the tenderloin was. Baxter enjoyed the tots. I ordered a cup of brisket chili loaded with cheese, onions, and sour cream. The chili is excellent! Grab a cup or bowl to go and use on top of baked potatoes at home. The Cajun Steak Salad, which was a generous serving of shredded steak with fresh lettuce, red onions, and blue cheese crumbles, was so good and filling. Our server, Jade, took excellent care of us and brought Baxter a fresh bowl of water. Love Brewlinks, terrific food, great service, and a fun atmosphere. Differentiation is the name of the game when it comes to breweries, brew pubs and micro breweries. At first glance, this place felt like any other brewery I've been to. However, it differentiates in other ways to justify four stars. Where it differentiates is food, beer, service and location: Food -- I'll always get a burger when at a brewery and a generous appetizer platter. Both were great, I did feel that the beer cheese was excellent, but the other dips in our platter were lagging a bit in comparison. The burger was fantastic and paired nicely with their beer selection. They also have the type of French fries I love, so a huge win here. I'd say it's right on par with what other breweries charge. Beverages -- they have a large selection. The first beer I ordered they were out of which is always a great sign! That means it's good and I missed out. However, it made me take a second look at the menu. They have a huge variety of in-house brews ranging from IPAs, Ales and Porters. They also have some fun, out of the box drinks listed on their website (e.g. Cereal Ale, Matcha Tea and Kiwi Sour). Service & Location -- I thought this place is genius being located right next to Oak Tree Golf Course. I love the idea of finishing up a round of golf and walking to the BrewPub next door. It's also a family friendly location with a nice separated bar area and outside space. Overall, a great space and plenty big. Our waitress was wonderful as well. Quick, but intentional when working with us. Unfortunately for this team, it is a bit outside of town. However, they make up for it with their food and beer! read more

Had been wanting to try out Brew Link, but my wife had not been interested in going. Finally went as I made it my choice for my birthday dinner. Environment was about what I expected. Place was reasonably busy, but not backed up. Hostess was a bit less than welcoming, but wait staff was nice enough and handled things well. All that said, the food was just kinda OK. I tried the BBQ Pulled Pork burger. Which has pulled pork, bacon on a burger. I'm not sure with what should be that much grease/juicy meat, you end up with a very dry burger but they managed it. Had a side of onion rings which were OK, but again, nothing spectacular. Another in our party had the trio tacos and similarly said they were very dry. Another had the honey badger and it seemed to be the most juicy meat served of the evening and looked good. We also started with the Kegger tots and while they were well prepared, (not sure I could tell there was bacon or cheese in them?) they could have used a little something to jazz them up, and at $12 they were too pricey for what they were. Had the tacos and the burger not been so dried out, the rating would have been easily much higher. read more

They have the most bizarre-sounding beers, in flavor combinations that you wouldn't think would work, but they do. Beer brewed with sugar, milk and marshmallow cereal? Sure, why not. I got a milkshake IPA beer, which looked orange and hazy in my glass, and tasted divine. I would get it again, I say. I visited Brew Link Brewing because of a get-together for my dear friend and fellow Yelp Elite, Ken N. Otherwise, I probably would not have known about this place. I am rarely this deep into Plainfield, and I didn't even know Brew Link existed. But thanks to Ken N.'s suggestion, I found myself here and was really enjoying the vibe. The people who work at this location are so kind. Like Jen F. said in her review, our group basically took over part of the restaurant. We were loud, some of us were dressed in costumes, and we came and went. It was confusing for the servers, I'm sure, but everyone took it in stride and served us with smiles on their faces. Bless their hearts. I would say that the food is secondary to the beer here. It's your typical pub fare, with the burgers and the fries and all that. My husband and I got the Avocado Chicken Wrap, and it was fine. The fries were really good, but I can't think of a time when fries eaten with beer aren't really good. The beer makes everything taste better. Maybe I need to try some of their other food before I make a decision about the food. One of my friends, who had visited this place many times and had eaten many things off the menu, hadn't ever eaten any of the wraps, so perhaps I ordered wrong. So the moral of this review is: You probably don't want to listen to my opinion about the food here, because I know very little. read more

Came to Brew Link for the wild beer flavors and stayed for the pretzel appetizer! Brew Link has wild beer flavors (cereal, fruit infused, lots and sours) that can get nonbeer drinkers to give a second look. In addition to beer, they also offer cocktails which is nice to appeal to more of a crowd. Love the large outdoor patio with umbrellas in addition to indoor tap room sitting. Service can be hit or miss. Food is a little pricier than typical bar food with quality being "eh". Overall I would come back again but won't be my regular hang out due to the higher prices. read more

Brew link has become one of my favorite places to dine! Staff is awesome, food is delicious, Their sour beers are to die for & the outdoor patio is the bomb! So backstory, I hate breweries-- they make me uncomfortable because I don't know what to order! Well, Savannah was our server on my first visit and she was so informative!! We had a flight to try different beers and I loved Ecstatic truth. Unfortunately, they don't have it anymore but Hole in one is a close second and they partnered with Al's donuts to make! Highly recommend the fish tacos! I found out on my last visit you can sub the chips for another side too. I also tried their very popular tenderloin, it did not disappoint. The bar has a window that raises and it's like you're outside, once you get outside there are several picnic tables that and lead to the beer garden. String lights everywhere, corn hole, more seating, & even a little barn where you can go and get beer while hanging out or just waiting for a table. The best part?? It's dog friendly for your well behaved fur babies. I love this place. My husband is not a drinker and comes just for the food and experience. Definitely check it out. read more

I love live music and a patio in the summer. I got a beer flight and the waiter brought me an additional mini beer to sample with it which was great. We started the dinner with the Kegger Tots and like the menu says in its description, "You don't have to, but you probably should," and I definitely agree. The avocado chicken wrap had more guacamole than anything but I would try it again in hopes for more chicken. My friend got the Beer Mac and Cheese and the portion was huge. Ohhhh boy.....where to begin. Let's start on a positive note. The beer and beer selection is fantastic! I had a Double O stout which has flavors of double stuffed Oreos. It was freakin' awesome! Next I had the Nutter cup which is a typically brewed peanut butter porter. It was good but still had the powdered peanut butter flavor of most peanut butter brews. It's great if you like that, but I've had a much better peanut butter porter over at Prodigy in Brownsburg. My wife tried a sour, the Hole in One. Wowza, this was like drinking a glass full of summer...we bought a 4-pack for a future hot summer day at the pool or on our deck. Ok, the food... First off, our server was new and it was super loud in the restaurant as it was packed and they looked understaffed so I'm hoping this experience was a one off. I ordered and I'll quote myself, "a breaded pork tenderloin with Mayo and tomato only with tater tots." The server told me that the Mayo is on the side and it also comes with lettuce and tomato on the side, is that cool? Yep, absolutely. I then said, "I'd also like a cup of chili." The server asked if I'd like cheese on it, a typical ask for chili, and after a brief explanation of my cheese choices, which surprised me, I said, cheddar is good. We also ordered some fried portobello mushrooms as an app. Fast-forward a bit...the mushrooms arrive and dang they were good. Piping hot and the dipping sauce was excellent. Our first round of beverages was also good so we're off to a good start. I'd say that the rest of the meal was several strokes over par, since the restaurant has a golf clubhouse theme going. My tenderloin and tots arrive after some time with an apology as "the kitchen is backed up." The tots were really good though they came out a tad cool...not cold, just not hot like they'd been sitting for a bit. My chili was missing and the breaded tenderloin...I'm not sure how to describe it but the kitchen forgot the tomato and lettuce...the Mayo was there though. The tenderloin I guess was technically breaded but in the fashion that you might expect catfish though that's not exactly right either. It was the thinnest breading I'd ever experienced on a tenderloin...almost like a light flouring with mixed in spices and then browned. It also had a slice of cheddar cheese on it which tipped me off that the server or kitchen had put the cheese I'd ordered on my chili on my tenderloin. The server was back to other tables so I powered forward. I took one bite and the at was it. It was chewy and didn't have a lot of flavor. I asked the server about my chili which confirmed that they didn't put in the order, but they also didn't check their note pad so who knows. The server never asked about my uneaten sandwich, but did offer dessert. We ordered peanut butter cake and it was good. Overall, I'm hopeful for this place once they get the staffing up and work on their service recovery. I never saw a manager and the only employees in the dining room were the 3-4 servers and the hostess. If they add a 5th server, get an expeditor in the kitchen, and have the manager on the floor regularly doing table touches I think they'll be rockin' before summer. I'd gladly return for beer and apps but skip the dinner. I debated the third star I gave, but except for the service, tenderloin, and tots....the rest was really good. read more

What an outstanding surprise this was. We bombarded them in celebration of our friend, Ken, and they rolled with the punches. We took over the bar, were dressed weird, had cookies, and lord only knows what else. Service was fast and friendly. The food was so surprisingly delicious!! I was like "Where am I?" I certainly wouldn't have guessed a brewery in Plainfield. My husband got the chicken and bacon Mac n Cheese. It was unexpectedly spicy, but delicious. It was so flavorful and creamy. The bacon added a salty smokiness. It was one of the best representations of macaroni and cheese I've ever had. Plus, cavatappi. It's my favorite pasta shape. I got the hummus plate because I'm a glutton for punishment and it was really good. Everything was fresh and crisp. Then I saw a friend had the wings and I had to order those because I'm a glutton. They're smoked and served dry with a special white BBQ sauce. There's dairy in that, FYI. If I were a betting lady, I'd say that some of that white sauce makes its way into the macaroni and cheese, but I'm not here to tell secrets. This place is 8 minutes from my house or 20 minutes if you take your drunk husband's shortcut. They also own Nigh Brewing in Plainfield. Go to these local places! Have a designated driver. Man this place could be a real gem but the service has been not so great every single time I've been. I will say, each time I've been they've been super busy, so I'm hoping it'll improve over time. On the bright side though, their beer is absolutely delicious. Even with the bad service, I can't help but rave about their beer and their extensively unique beer selection! We cane on rainy Saturday evening. Place was full! My wife is exploring beers. She told the waitress (Caitilin) what she was looking for in a beer and she brought three samples in her flavor range and one she thought was great!(BLB Blonde). We have eaten here a few times and it is always great food. The Mac N' Cheese is spicy, I like it, but it was too much for the kids and wife. The nachos from the appetizer menu were awesome, big enough for a meal. Don't pass up on the fries either, some of the best we have had in Indiana. I ordered the burger of the month this time and I was not impressed. It was like a thanksgiving burger with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry aioli. It wasn't bad, but it lacked the pizzazz I was expecting. It will be the hangover burger for me from now on. The beer is always great also.
