We've used Bob for our family portraits and annual Christmas card photo for something like 15…read moreyears. Each year it is a monumental task--we come to him with some outlandish idea, and he uses his magic to rise to the challenge. For some ideas he will "stage" whatever we have in mind, and others he shoots the components and manipulates it digitally to create the end result. Both strategies work out great because of his creativity and willingness to play around with the different options. Bob has produced both gorgeous, well lit family portraits, and zany, almost cartoony shots for a silly Christmas card. We're equally happy with the outcomes in both cases. I have to say, his personality is a little quirky, which I can imagine might put some people off if they didn't know him, but it's well worth getting over it--the end result is so worthwhile, and I think his quirkiness is probably the mark of a true artistic genius!

We wanted to make sure Andy was the real deal, as we thought the reviews were too good to be true, so we met with Andy to discuss the time frame and to get an idea of expectations on both sides. It was evident from his demeanor that he was a true professional and had a deep love for his craft. We hired Andy to take engagement photos. It was a rainy day and Andy used the weather to his advantage, implementing creative poses. After seeing his creativity, professionalism, and the final product we decided he was the photographer for us. We were unsure of poses and allowed him to be creative, and he nailed it every time. We told him we were hiring a videographer, the photo location required a permit, and that the church had strict operating procedures. He worked with the videographer to ensure the best shots for both parties, made sure he had the correct permit, and he communicated with the church to understand expectations.
