I do not recommend for PRK surgery. Mine was off center and I am still trying to get it corrected.

I visited optician to change lens prescription, mom needed to be there for accurate measurements…read more Returned with my mom and Emily never put the glasses on my 94 3/4 yr old mom who uses a walker. Two weeks later my call was returned to hear yes glasses can be picked up! The following week I take the two hour trip to pick up my mom's glasses! I arrived during normal business hours! The Optical shop at Medical Arts building was closed! Two returned calls later I was unable to pick up mothers glasses!. From beginning to end of this event the Optican demonstrated a lack of respect toward my mother, was unreliable and generally gave poor service! My mom has been a patient of Dr. Hurt's office since before it was his office. Dr. Hurt your optican needs to do better.

This place used to be called Taustine Eye Center. My dad was seeing Dr James Hurt (exam) & Dr Lloyd…read moreTaustine(laser) for many years. I also used to see Dr Hurt for my contacts. Two awesome doctors. Taustine Eye Center is now called Kentucky Eye Care on the first floor. When it was Taustine Eye Center I used to see Robert Williams & then Greg Sulkowski when Williams retired. Williams was the best doctor. Sulkowski moved to another eye center office. I really missed this office and haven't been able to connect with another doctor outside this office since Williams. But recently I got to return to this office and got to see Dr Nandini Menon. I think I have found my new eye doctor. She took the time to explain everything and very knowledgable. The front desk has always been friendly over the phone or in-person during the many years I've called or visited. My appointment times have always been kept and they always pull me back quickly when I arrive. Good locations in Louisville available in mideast-north off Eastern Pkwy and also in the South area. They deal with a variety of eye chronic issues, glasses, and regular eye exams, depending on which doctor you are seen by.
