We got: -Dai Ching Tofu: a dry deep fried tofu dish, cooked with celery, onions, green onions, green pepper, and cilantro -- very much Hakka style. Haven't had a dai ching tofu dish like this but it worked well. -Tofu with Mushroom: a nice umami dish, cooked with standard button mushrooms as well as shiitakes, plenty of deep fried tofu, and coated in a nice savoury brown sauce. Very good. -Vegetables with Manchurian Sauce: simple mixed veggie dish with a somewhat rich, dark brown sauce. I wished there was more broccoli (only 3 pieces), but the mix of veggies other than that was nice. Solid veggie dish. Extremely friendly staff, very personable service. Overall, probably not as good as Green Lettuce or Chili Pepper, but very tasty Hakka Chinese food catering to North Delta. Definitely recommended if you're out here.

Until today. It wasn't even the inconsistency and lack of blatant concern for the special instructions. IT WAS THE OWNERS DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR that made me leave this review and will PERMANENTLY remove EMW from my rotation. I ordered my usual today. 3 satee meals - one extra spicy and one chow mein regular. Now as I said before we order ALLLLLL the time so we are very aware of their menu and how their food should taste... might I also add we are from the caribbean, so we arent afraid of spicy food. I shared my kids dinner as I normally would, and my one year old started screaming and hollering gasping for air crying HOT hot hot.. I told him id be making a formal complaint to UBER eats about this becuase now i have to spend more money to get my kids dinner. He simply couldve swapped the food out. I am pretty sure he cooked all the satee styles together, or did not switch pots in between ( they were the exact same order just one with a different level of spice) THERE ARE OTHER LOCAL RESTAURANTS MORE WORTHY OF YOUR DOLLAR.
