From the minute I walked in, I was immediately in a better mood because it looks like an incredibly fun place to be. They have a huge spaceship up front, lots of cool stuff to look at and play on, and even cool stars on the ceiling! More importantly, every single member of the staff I encountered, front office to back, including the doctor, was incredibly kind and gentle with my 2 year old. She is not an easy patient to say the least, and she walked out remarkably happier than she was when she first sat down on my lap in the chair. I also thought it was really sweet that they took a Polaroid of my daughter's first appointment and gave it to me to keep as memory with a magnet that says my first dentist appointment with their info and a cutout to put the Polaroid in. That was so thoughtful, and as someone who takes tons of Polaroids at every big event (Xmas, bdays, etc) I *really* appreciated this gesture. The level of care and compassion I saw today is unmatched by any other medical practice I've been to. Every kid I saw walking out had a smile on their face and goodie bags. Maybe that's not the usual, but I was really impressed.

The staff , professional and friendly!! They go above & beyond to help make your visit pleasant. One (of many I might add) positive experiences I had Was with Nicolette. She has helped my son & I going out of her way to even contacting us on her off day to rectify an insurance issue. Again this Dental office staff cares & takes pride in there jobs. The rooms all are equipped with Sterile equipment, clean, and the chairs extremely comfortable (not your typical dental chair) some are heated & have massages. The Dentist, Dr. Ayoub is very thorough, he covers all options & takes time to explain the procedure. He has your best interest in mind, & makes you feel comfortable. I called for an appointment for dentist to cement the loose crown & they refused to take me as a patient & told me to go elsewhere. I feel it's not good care, when a patient is treated this way. I had to call back ten times to try and get the ball rolling for an out-of-network exception request (or network gap exception) for Stony Brook who were willing to work with my difficult insurance, and the front desk staff stated that they didn't help with this type of situation. I understand they were protecting their time and avoiding the administrative burden... However, now I have ZERO care with broken teeth.

The doctor was also very soothing and took the time to explain the importance of brushing and flossing. My kids were so excited to receive a surprise toy and get to pick out their own toothbrushes. Our daughter actually looks forward to her appointments and looks forward to the fun atmosphere there. Upon leaving, kids get a token to use in an oversized gumball machine for a bouncy ball and she comes home with a new toothbrush that she chooses herself. The space is well lit and there are televisions throughout to entertain the young patients. All of the staff are friendly and try their best to make the children feel welcomed and are cheerful toward them. The staff is also efficient and honors very closely appointment times we have set in the past. Checkout is a breeze and future appointment are set based on what best works for you and your schedule. Whatever questions you may have are addressed and explained in easy to understand terms. Well done!

I mean, they're always really nice and courteous on the phone when I call to tell them my son has arrived for his appointment. If you think about it, the first person a patient/parent meets is the receptionist so they can make or break the mood of the appointment. No worries here ... receptionists are SUPERB and a pleasure to deal with. My son's appointment today was with Dr. Ari, his orthodontist. Dr. Ari has always been very open and honest with what needs to be done and what can wait to be done at a later time. He is very reassuring whenever I've had questions about when my son would need to get his braces in. My son actually had his braces put in the month before the pandemic began ... but Dr. Ari never skipped a beat. I got monthly calls to see how things were going and Dr. Ari even FaceTimed my son a couple of times to do virtual appointments to check on how his braces were coming along. Obviously during the period while the office was closed, things were hard but once the office decided to open back up, I got a call requesting to make an appt (if I felt comfortable enough ... which I was) for my son to go in and see Dr. Ari in person. I always recommend Dr. Charlie and Dr. Ari to anyone looking for a top-notch pediatric dentist and/or pediatric orthodontist.
