Do not go to this place and get any restorative work! They act all nice, take your money, upcharge you on veneers or whatever to run the tab higher, and do poor work. Then, when you call them on the subpar work, you have to argue your case to get anything fixed, and don't expect it to be done in a timely manner or at all. You will need to get other second opinions to ensure they fix their own shitty work. I've been pleading my case for over a year to have work done in piecemeal, just because he didn't want to do the job right the first time and wanted to charge me for overpriced veneers instead of doing crowns. All while the doctor refuses to take accountability for his mistakes that caused the subpar work to happen in the first place. It's sad he is more concerned with his upcoming vacations than ensuring he does quality work. Terrible person, zero class, and a complete pompous asshole. I really loved this place when my insurance was valid. When I had bs insurance they didn't anything to do with me which is understandable But I started working back with the same company so I was given the same ins. Went back cause I loved them not knowing this place is money hungry. I did make an appt for both my kids but wasn't able to make it due to fealty in my family. when I came for another appt I made I was told I owed 75 for both my kids so I said fine I'll pay 75 and bill me the other 75. I didn't have a problem because I did miss my kids appt and they do charge 75. But for them to say my daughter can't see the doctor until I pay the whole amount is crazy. First of all u have to bill me. I never knew that an they can not see u for not paying. I have always paid just didn't have the 150 at that time. Welp I liked them but if they can not see my daughter over 75 than this is not the place for me. They knew my daughter has 2 big cavities that why I was gonna pay half without hesitation. They made a lot of money off of us alone since my insurance is great. It's a good practice but to refuse patients over money is crazy. I could see if I had an outstanding bill for months. This bill was from 5 days earlier. Welp now I know they are all about money. read more

The hygienist that cleaned my teeth seemed nice but she seemed to spend a lot of time around one of my capped teeth. It broke days later while eating steamed broccoli. Let's back up a bit...I finally got up enough nerve to go to the dentist after having a fall and losing teeth and even damaging my partial. I wasn't in pain when I made my appointment but days later I experienced pain and suspected an infection which was confirmed by the dentist. No antibiotics were prescribed to clear it up and the dentist seemed not to care about my pain. I guess it's true what they say about doctors. They feel certain people are supposed to just endure pain for however long it takes. Let's not even care that infection does to your bones. I was given an appointment with the surgeon for 2 months later and the dentist that saw me a month later. I don't know what he would do when I wouldn't have seen the surgeon. No treatment plans or best plan for me was was discussed with me. I really think they don't want me as a patient for some reason. I was not rude or uncooperative perhaps it's another reason. Your guess is better than mine. Oh, another thing I found very important, I was told was that the office took my insurance. I'm making the appointment with the surgeon and am told that he does not take my insurance. I look funny and she say. You have to pay and then get the money back from your insurance company. We all know if your insurance isn't accepted they pay less. I'm still looking shocked and she says we take your insurance. I don't know what the deal is. My co worker didn't have these problems she has the same insurance as I. Others she has referred were seen and tended to right away. They didn't have one and two month waiting times. I'll be calling my insurance and looking for another dentist. Something is not right here. I grappled with even making a review at all. I think it is important people should have the truth. This place is great. Easy to make appointment online. They have their own dental plan if you don't have dental insurance (two cleanings per year + X-RAY for $199). They are efficient and everyone who works there is really nice. I had a wonderful experience. read more

Everyone here is wonderful, starting from the front desk staff to dental hygienists, dental assistants and of course the dentists. PM Dental is hands down the best dental office I've ever visited. The office has many specialists which is really convenient because you can get everything done in one place. All the doctors I've seen have been excellent, very professional and caring. Even with unpleasant and more complicated procedures, I've walked away thinking "that was so much better than I expected". COVID NOTE: I've noticed they are super clean and do a full wipe-down and cleaning in between patients. Anything the patient touches has a plastic covering (including the chair) which gets disposed. Please do not go to this location. They record your conversations. They do not give you the option to say that you don't want to be recorded. You also need to very specific when you make an appointment. What a waste of time going here and I couldn't even get a basic cleaning done. They told me that no hygienist was available. They are very racist here. I am in so much pain and this is how they value their customers. I had not idea that I was going there for a consultation. Worse dental place ever. My insurance ran out . Instead of checking it before I got triage and called room , they took X -Rays which was already sent to them from another facility. They call me about all kind of other stuff, but couldn't tell me about my insurance. The employee ask me how I would pay after the X Rays,,,said it was my responsibility...The worse part of all was when I said i switched up jobs, the employee said its not our fault you got terminated . This dental practice superficially looks nice but deep down, the person who seems to control everything about how the world operates and sits at the front desk is absolutely the most rude and condescending individual you would ever want to meet. Her name is Vicki. I suggest that you stay clear and keep your own sanity. We live in a very congested traffic area and at times people do encounter traffic delays but not in her own bubble where everyone must be at their appointment exactly on time. It's a downright shame that Vicki w/ho is not the brightest and most highly educated person has so much control who can eventually put an establishment out of business. In her own bubble she knows all. It's amazing how people with such poor attitudes and lack of professionalism can find employment. Vicki does maintain an A+ average in being nasty. If you can get passed the nonsense she always creates, the dentists and hygienist seem rather professional and caring. Proceed with caution!! read more

UPDATE: 6:10 am Monday.... pain has only intensified. Talked to a friend last night about what was going on with me and she said she was seen by pm dental recently and it started out $180 and in the end had to pay $630!?!?! Really??? So if I would have come in yesterday that is what I would have gotten too! A $630 bill when you COULD have made an exception and allowed my insurance to go out of network. I thank you for the extra 24 hrs of pain that I have been in and another night of no sleep all because you didn't want to work with my insurance and thought I would come in and pay cash. Dentist in it for the money....don't care about people! I normally don't come on to do reviews like this but I can't help it. I have been in excruciating pain since Saturday at 2 PM it is now Sunday 9 o'clock at night and the pain has only intensified. I wrote at midnight last night Requesting an appt with pm dental. Because my pain is still there I did call when they first opened finally got a hold of someone at 9:30 they told me they didn't take my insurance and I would have to pay $180. I called up my insurance company they could not find a dentist in the area that was in network. They came across p.m. dental and told me that they would allow me to go out of network because they could hear how much pain I was in. They called pm dental to work out an agreement that they would PAY!!! When they rep got back on the phone with me after being on HOLD for 23 minutes... I was told... I'm sorry there is nothing that I can do they refuse to work with me they could work with me but they refuse. SHAME on you!!! Thank you for being one of those dentist that are all about the money and not helping those in need. I have another 11 hours to go before I can call someone in network.... and I will not sleep again tonight because of this pain that I could already be out of if you would have worked with my insurance. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone. I had a cleaning from the dental hygienist whose name was Randall she explained every step of the way and took great pride in the work she did. I went in for a repair for an upper denture. It was $125 which was fine. I was to pick it up in a few days. I did not have an appointment just a date to pick up after 3pm.. i had a tragic situation in which i lost someone very close to me and was unable to pick it up that day but had to leave town to grieve a loved one. I had a $45.00 balance left on the repair but since I was unable to pick it on time they now will not return my denture and say i owe $170. What kind of place makes money on misfortunes and charges for not picking up a repair. How can i be charged for an appointment that i did not have. I dont know any doctor that would refuse to give a patient back their teeth when repair fully paid.. shame on pm dental. read more

My PM Dental Care experience was awesome . I've been using Military dentists for the past 10 years so I was a bit nervous to go to a regular civilian dentist. I'm so glad I chose PM Dental Care, they sure know how to take great care of their customers. I had a cleaning with the dental hygienist which was very thorough. The cleaning took about an hour but it was well worth it. My teeth felt extremely clean and I liked the fact that the dental hygienist took pride in her work and took her time. Wish I could remember her name so I could recommend her. But anyway, after my cleaning, Dr. Druz came in for my exam. He is an extremely nice dentist. Like I said I was a bit nervous but he was able to calm my nerves with his sense of humor. At one point, he even said that I remind him of his dental assistant :) we did look alike. Weird huh! I also liked that he took the time to explain to me what he was doing and what was wrong, I appreciate that, some dentists wont explain anything and have their assistant do it for them, so that was another plus for me. Overall it was a great experience, I have returned for two fillings and that was fast and painless. I have also recommended a good friend of mine and she loved it as well. I have never left a yelp review for any business but felt this was necessary. I had called on a Saturday after being in extreme discomfort from a tooth. I explained the situation and Raquel, who answered the phone, said she would try to see what she could do-she ended up squeezing my in to be seen soon after the call.An X-ray was taken and before I knew it the Doctor was in to speak with me about the treatment I needed (root canal). My insurance was not accepted however the office worked with me to see how I wanted to proceed or if I wanted too receive the treatment at all with them, and offered to send my xray to a different dentist if I decided to go that route. The doctor prescribed me a medication that would work for me (as I have a stomach ulcer and cannot take certain prescriptions)to get me through the discomfort for two days. He even went as far as to explain the precautions to take as the medication was a controlled substance, and mentioned the risks. As a substance abuse counselor, this was appreciated. LONG story short, I called 2 weeks later to see if I could come in that day for the root canal and they were able to get me in! I don't remember the doctors name but it was the same man and he was truly so great. He was considerate of all aspects-pain, finances and the process was quick and painless. The staff there are all very nice and you can tell they want to help clients, not just receive a payment. I would go here again and am thankful they accommodated me in many ways! read more

Broke a filling this past thursday. My usual dentist is all the way in queens (moved to long island 10 years ago but never looked for a new dentist) see this place all the time when i drive up jericho tpke so i decided to give them a call to see if they could help me out. the staff at the front of the house are great, answer all of your questions over the phone with great detail. they were able to get me an appointment for sunday at 930 am. They took some info ahead of time, and i showed up a little early to fill out the rest of the paperwork. i even received a text message from the office informing me of the parade that was scheduled for sunday morning and to park on the side streets... that was very helpful. the facility is clean, modern, and comfortable. I swear i was in and out with a brand new filling in under an hour. the doctor who performed the work was very good. very gentle and made sure to explain what was going on.. and what needed to be done. highly recommended.. if you unfortunatley need some emergency dental work in a pinch.. give this place a call. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Druz for at least 15 years in NYC & have recently started to see him at the Long Island office. Coming from a girl with a mouth full of cavities, he not only has a gentle touch with a drill, but also in his overall calming demeanor. Since I began to see him at the Mineola office my father has followed suit & now sees Dr. Druz too. Every time my dad returns from his office he's raving about the impeccable service and professionalism he has received. I just had to share this with everyone (he doesn't know how to "Yelp") because it's so awesome to see him so happy now that he's switched dentists. Given my previous experiences with a different dentist I was slightly apprehensive during my visit. The dental hygienist was very pleasant. She constantly asked if I was okay and made conversation.
