Just what Brownsburg needs! I'm a fan of a similar establishment in Indy so I was excited to learn that I would not have to travel far. The restaurant was bigger than I expected and sure enough there were plenty of people that had the same Friday night idea. Big plus that it was very clean. Since it was our first visit, our waitress explained how they operate here and to my surprise you get two bowls to fill up: one for veggies and one for meats. You mean to tell me I don't have to stack up my ONE bowl like an overflowing volcano trying to make sure nothing falls over? BET. That alone was 5 stars. Also, while I was eating and decided I needed a to-go box I told the waitress that I felt like I didn't get as much fried rice. She explained that I could always ask for extra fried rice at anytime and it's a free add-on. WIN! I can't wait to get Kungfu Bowl in my monthly(maybe bi-weekly) rotation. read more

Had the new Kung Fu Bowl in Brownsburg!! The food - stellar!! I had the traditional make-your-own and I immediately noticed the difference between Kung Fu and other chains...they give you TWO bowls to fill!!! This allowed me to put veggies in one bowl and stack my other bowl full of protein. I LOVE this change as you ultimately get a large portion! If I could have changed anything, it would have been getting more fried rice in my bowl. Regardless, I was able to leave with leftovers and I was full & happy! The service was also stellar! Helen was our waitress and she handled our table and the others with grace. She was polite, informative, and very attentive. The manager Shawn was also cool and personable with customers. Next time I'm going to try the Kung Fu Sushi roll per his advice! He hyped it up! Before I forget, the serving of the food is faster here compared to other chains, I was very impressed since this was during a heavy dinner hour but my food was hot, fresh, and cooked thoroughly! Ambiance-dim lit but very casual. The decor was very classy to me and the dining room was gorgeous but this place is great for families, a date, lunch with friends, all the types of gatherings. There's plenty of seating as well. Can't wait to return to Kung Fu!!! read more

Delicious new restaurant In Brownsburg. It's been open for a couple of months and we have been there a couple of times. The food is fresh and the staff is friendly and quick. There are plenty of choices to make your ramen bowl on the bar as well as ordering sushi from the menu. The restaurant is clean and decorated well. read more

Kungfu Bowl just opened and decided to check it out for dinner. Apparently, everyone else had the same idea because they were super busy. We were immediately greeted by Shawn (the manager) who welcomed us in and was shown to our table. Kungfu Bowl is very similar to Yummy Bowl (I did inquire, and they are not affiliated) The restaurant was clean and I definitely love the vibe over Yummy Bowl. Kungfu Bowl has a bit more of a "fancier" feel to it. Helen was our waitress and she is FABULOUS! LOVE HER! She was patient, friendly, and did a great job explaining the menu. She also checked in on us throughout our visit and made sure we had everything we needed. Kungfu Bowl is (slightly) different as far as the process for building a yummy bowl. We received 2 bowls: 1 for veggies and 1 for meats. Great idea! Much easier to build your bowl vs having to stack everything in one. Now, when it comes to seasonings, instead of seasoning your food in the bowl, you put the seasonings you desire into the condiment containers. (I did ask about "the why" behind this) Be careful, because you probably don't need half of what you think you do. We were told that the cooks add the seasonings toward the end to prevent them from burning and to help preserve the flavor. No lies were told here. I must say for how busy they were, I was really surprised by how quickly my food came out. Everything came out fresh and piping hot. 10/10 on service speed! Food was tasty + I had leftovers. Overall, Kungfu Bowl was a great experience! A big part of that was the excellent service provided by Shawn and Helen! So, thank you both! Love this new restaurant! I've been here 3 times since it opened. You choose your own veggies, protein, and sauces! Put them in a bowl and hand them to the chef and it is cooked fresh for you! Great items to choose from. Nice vibe inside and friendly staff. read more

New restaurant to Brownsburg so had to give it a try and so glad we did. We were promptly greeted and asked if we preferred a table or a booth. We picked a booth and there's a lot of room, if booths are typically a little tight for you that won't be the case here. They did a very nice job with the decor and layout making it very comfortable for most guests. We went with the yummy bowl. They provide you with 2 small bowls and direct you to the area where you select what you'd like to eat. You fill the bowls with as much or as little as you like then give your tray to the guys behind the counter who will cook it all up for you. You then go sit down at your table and your server brings your cooked entree to your table. It's smoking hot and oh so delicious They also have a wide variety and selection of Sushi. We aren't into sushi but it sure looks fun and inviting. Who knows we just might have to try it ourselves. One thing we both noticed was how clean the restaurant is. We observed several employees wiping down the counter where the yummy bowl ingredients are and very impressed on how clean this area was when we went through. Give this place a try.
