I didn't expect sushi in Indiana to be so good, but I got sashimi and it was surprisingly fresh. They didn't have uni on hand that day, but they had Ikura. My mom got a miso ramen. It was huge. My daughter and sister got a tempura appetizer with Samurai roll and Sakura roll. Everything was delish!

I can't believe I haven't been here sooner! The sashimi was delicious--thick cuts and good size pieces. Fresh! Prices are very reasonable. They have AMAZING lunch specials, 2 rolls for $10 with soup. You really can't beat it. Staff were all very friendly and the place is clean & cutely decorated. I will 100% be back, excited to try their other items like ramen!

This has quickly become our absolute favorite sushi spot in Indiana! The menu has such a unique selection and the sushi here is unforgettable--you'll find yourself craving it even when you're not dining in. Our must-try favorites are the Angry Dragon Roll, Sunrise Roll, and Fire & Ice Roll--each one is packed with flavor and beautifully crafted. Every visit feels special and the quality is consistently excellent. The service is immaculate--friendly, attentive and welcoming. My son especially enjoys interacting with (what we believe to be) the owners' son and daughter, which adds a warm family touch to the experience. We love bringing visiting family here because we truly believe it's the best sushi in Indiana. No other spot we've tried even comes close. If you're looking for incredible rolls and an amazing dine-in experience this is the place!

    Love this place. Sugoi! Ichiban!

Authentic and delicious. Nice ambiance. Best meal we have had in a long time. Delicious, clean and a great experience.

Minazuka Sushi Bar celebrated its grand opening a little over a month ago in a little strip mall near 421 and US 465. The dining room is upscale and lovely with pastel Japanese kimonos and pink cherry blossoms decorating the walls. There is a mix of booths and tables and a small sushi bar in the back. Gentle Asian music plays in the background. Our server was charming and friendly. She brought water, checked on us and food came out quickly. For lunch, we each had two sushi rolls and salad. The salad is large with the most incredible freshly made mango dressing. The spicy crab roll was creamy and tasty. I loved the shrimp tempura roll, which was filled with four large shrimp, lots of cucumber and a sweet sauce. My lunch was delicious and filling. Prices are very reasonable. They have applied for a liquor license to serve beer, wine and saki. The parking lot can be challenging to get in and out. I highly recommend and will return soon.

This restaurant is a hidden gem off Michigan Rd. One of those places you'd drive by but never really come in until you have one of their wonderful sushi rolls. A vast menu of sushi rolls to choose from with a nice quaint venue. The service was attentive and quick. I'll definitely be back.

Stopped by this place for a team dinner and it is a new and hidden gem. The sushi was well crafted with a solid presentation. I wouldn't have thought to come here if it wasn't for an evening meeting after, but I will be back! The staff was really nice and the sushi chef showed pride in his craft.

This place is amazing! it's definitely a hidden gem love the rolls here ! The employees are super kind . Definitely recommend if you want good sushi . Such a beautiful place !

Sushi was the best we've had in years in Indy. Price was fair and service was great. We did takeout and it was ready quick.

I sent it back, but wasn't offered anything else, not even steamed rice. The coconut shrimp was not what I was expecting. It was tempura-battered shrimp with a sweet sauce drizzled over the top, with a few sprinkles of shredded coconut. The shrimp itself was very good. Fresh and hot, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce being drizzled all over it, and adding a few flakes of coconut doesn't make it coconut shrimp.

The fish was so fresh, and you could genuinely taste the nori, which makes a huge difference. We branched out and tried the Kumamoto oysters too. Worth it. They're tinier than your typical oyster and came with a range of flavors from the seasonings and sauces. Honestly, we wish they'd been served more simply because we wanted to compare them to the ones we've had in Japan, and all the sauce made that tough. Still a fun order though. Skip the Seafood Pot, in our opinion. It tasted like Bird's Nest to us and just wasn't anything special compared to everything else. Bottom line: come for the sushi. It's the standout, and it's what'll bring us back. With ramen, hibachi, bubble tea, and a full bar also on the menu, there's plenty to explore on a return visit.

All of my loved ones were there to celebrate my birthday, and paired with such amazing food it made it a magical night. It was a Tuesday night and was fairly busy, but we passed any downtime chatting with each other and sipping on cocktails. The owner, Nara, is SO kind, sweet, gracious, I could go on and on. You can tell she really loves her job and running a business. The staff were so attentive for such a large party and made sure we always had fresh cocktails, water refills, and empty plates were removed promptly. We had vegetarians, peanut allergies, and picky eaters, but they accommodated everyone. I think my husband and I ended up splitting 5 sushi rolls total (still dreaming of them) and the table pretty much split multiple appetizers across the board. Everyone loved their cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. When I thanked Nara for such an amazing dinner and let her know it was my first time dining there and that it was my birthday she brought out a round of lychee sake shots for the table and started playing a happy birthday song throughout the restaurant. Literally almost cried because it was so sweet and thoughtful. The sake was crazy delicious and a hit for the whole table. The only *minor* downside was that each cocktail was made individually by what seemed to be just one bartender, so it took some time for drinks to come out. Again, otherwise a perfect meal, but keep that in mind and be patient for drinks to come out! My husband and I's favorite sushi haunt has always been Mori Sushi before now, but now I cannot wait to come back to Hasuno for more amazing appetizers and sushi rolls!!! They have a small parking lot that fills up fast, but there is always lots of street parking in fountain square. It's a great spot for dinner and easily walkable to other spots for nightcaps to end the evening.

Communication with the staff was somehow off, as we ordered sushi on one menu and handed back the other menu, and somehow two orders showed up. It was so strange. I'm not a fan of raw sushi, so I always get the sweet potato roll and/or the stop 11 roll. We ordered DoorDash last night and added the tomago roll and it will be added to my favorites at Sushi Club. The stop 11 roll was all gone before I could snap a picture, but there are pictures uploaded by other users. Note: I do substitute soy wrapper instead of seaweed and I add cream cheese to the tomago and sweet potato rolls. It's $2 extra but well worth it. As far as pricing goes, when you order DoorDash there is a slight up-charge, but it's still fair pricing. We got three rolls for $40 with tip and service fees. Three people ate, so overall not a bad deal. If you want to dine in, they do offer AYCE made to order appetizers and sushi. The restaurant itself is no frills, but it's a good bargain if you can eat a good amount of food. If you don't like something, tell the server and don't just leave it on your plate at the end because you'll be charged extra if you leave a certain number of pieces. If you're a light eater like me and AYCE isn't for you, there is a full menu to order from. If you haven't tried this place, give them a shot! They also have a location on West 10th Street and in Fishers at 116th and Allisonville.

Not once did she mention anything that we had to literally stay out front or anything. Then I asked for her managers name and she paused longer this time. Aubrey seemed to be a bit overwhelmed and obviously didn't communicate especially when asked specifically about the wait. As the front of the house who see the customers first before being seated I feel that a hostess needs to be a little more comfortable with talking to patrons and being a little more descriptive and direct when asked specific questions about the wait. Lack of communication on her part definitely made the experience very disappointing. Please do better to ASSIST in your duties as a front of house hostess.
