About a month ago, Spoon It opened its doors at 7515 Hwy 105 near Major Drive, and it's already become a favorite spot for a cool, creamy treat. Calling it "cute" is an understatement--it gives off real tropical vibes! The checkout counter and yogurt machine stations are designed like tiki huts, complete with bamboo and thatched roofs. It's festive, fun, and the perfect escape from the heat. Their variety of frozen yogurt is impressive, with about 12 different flavors to choose from--including two sugar-free options. One granddaughter chose a swirl of pistachio, cheesecake, and yellow cake batter yogurt, and topped it with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and pineapple. The other went with dreamsicle and cheesecake yogurt, finished off with little cheesecake squares for extra indulgence. And oh--did I mention their topping bar? It's vast! If you can think of it, they probably have it. As for me, I had a small serving of sugar-free strawberry yogurt topped with fresh strawberries. Light, refreshing, and absolutely delicious--I'd definitely order it again. With summer temperatures climbing, I encourage you to stop by Spoon It on Hwy 105. The yogurt is top-notch, the customer service is exceptional, and the vibe is just plain fun. Bring your kids or grandkids--they'll love it. To make matters worse, two drinks cost $7.50, which seemed overpriced. We took a few bites of our food and ended up leaving because it was that bad. Spending nearly $70 on a meal we couldn't eat was a complete waste of money. My fiancé literally gagged. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I was so glad to find this hidden gem right next to Hartz Chicken. They have delicious pastries,…read morekolaches, boba (milk tea) and even Vietnamese sandwiches (banh mi)! The Vietnamese sandwiches are a little messy but soooo tasty. Love the pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro, and jalapeños. I even got a boudin kolache! The owner is very friendly.
