My son is a huge fan of Kung Fu Tea & over the week of Thanksgiving he treated his and I to a Thai Milk Tea with Boba. We were initially intrigued by this beverage when. He talked about warm boba, we are familiar with popping boba, but not this new "chewy" type. Upon entry we were greeted, and the gentleman asked how he could help. My son ordered 3 Large Thai Milk Tea w/Boba. We sat at one of the tables, just as other people began to stop in. The place is very clean, there are a couple "games" to the side for kids to play. Our beverages were complete really quickly, he directed where to get straws, told us to have a good day and continued to the next customer. The flavor of this beverage was incredible and the boba is a new favorite. I loved that they were warm in the bottom and they were chewy and delicious. We all enjoyed them very much!!!! My order was delivered so I can't speak on any in-person aspects of this location but, I love the variety of options you have for your teas and the many ways that you could customize your order. I opted to try a Thai tea at 70% sweetness with boba, with lite ice. However, they have different types of matcha (strawberry, mango, lemonade, peach) and different teas including peach green, honey Thai, apple green, apple oolong, and various malted versions, in addition to classic tea flavors. While I got the regular boba, there are several boba options like brown sugar boba, strawberry/coffee/grape popping boba, herbal jelly, and much more. One of these days, I'll be brave enough to try one of these other types of boba but I've always gotten and enjoyed the regular boba. My Thai tea was lovely, refreshing, and exactly what I needed to survive these warmer months. My only issue is that the large was not large enough to quench my Thai tea cravings ! Cheers! read more

Their milk teas are always made with perfection. I've tried the taro milk tea which is always a classic and the once in a while I do crave their almond milk tea. I love the floral undertone with that nutty flavor which balances each other out. I decided to try something new which was the cocoa wow milk cap which was super delicious. It's caffeine free! Which was great because my body is not too fond of caffeine but flavor was satisfactory. I think people are catching on to the fact that this place is great, because it's bustling every time I've been! Bubble Tea is such a great treat! And frankly, the options for where to get bubble tea in COS over the years have been sad or short lived. Excited to see a spot that looks like they know what they are doing and have a quality product. Now, I've been a couple times. Highly recommend the milk tea with bubbles in it. Great place to grab a boba drink! The staff is friendly & quick but you can order through an app to make things even more efficient and have your favorite boba ready when you arrive! There's a large variety of drink types and flavors available. If you like boba, you will like KFT! The standard load of boba in their drinks is bigger than average (or at least in my experience). I got a seasonal iced pumpkin Oolong tea with boba. Delicious! My recommendation is to get your drink, no matter what it is, blended rather than iced. I've been waiting for a boba place in Colorado Springs around here since the week I moved! We were definitely lacking in that area, so Kung Fu tea has satisfied my constant craving. I've been twice in the past week. All of the staff I met were incredibly friendly & the location is centrally located in the city, which is convenient! They have quite a few options, however I wish they had more flavors for the milk tea, specifically apart from the traditional flavors. Same goes for the poppers, as they only have three flavors (mango, grape, and coffee). The rosehip milk tea tastes like raspberry which is the closest fruity flavor they have. Compared to shops I have been to in other places, they don't have as many choices that satisfy my taste for boba drinks. I hope they might be able to add some other flavors with customer demand. I'm conflicted with how many stars to leave. I ordered the coffee milk tea with boba and it was good, but not great. There wasn't really anything wrong with the drink, necessarily, but I just wasn't super blown away by it either. I feel like I've had better boba elsewhere. The coffee milk tea didn't even have a hint of coffee flavor and some of the boba were really hard in the center. The tea itself wasn't very cold either. The advertised price for a medium is $3.75, but my total after tax and before tip came to $4.63. I should've asked for a copy of the receipt because they must impose some sort of fee because there's no way tax should be 20-something percent. read more

Weird thing was that I searched and searched the menu for Thai tea, with no success... only to be told at the counter that they DO have Thai tea, it just wasn't listed on the paper menus! With this location we tried: taro milk tea - they use powder taro, super duper sweet althou we asked for less sweet, they re-made it with syrup, tasted better, but still didnt taste like taro.
