It just didn't taste great when I got to my car and I started drinking it.--The tea flavor tasted really weird. Very, very strong taste to the tea not very much coffee flavor and I have to say the two didn't mix well whatsoever I don't know why I continued to drink it, but I did and I wish I hadn't. It's midnight and my stomach is still making noises and protesting against that tea. I don't know if I got bad milk or a variety of tea that my stomach just doesn't like... But this was not the tea for me. The girls in front of me had gotten mango smoothie type of things and that looked delicious and another one had a strawberry looking thing and that also looks delicious. I enjoy KFT. The boba and milk teas are good but no consistent in flavor. Their jellies are cut slightly too big in my opinion and their crystal jellies are Al way too hard. I highly recommend this pistachio milk tea with coffee jelly. Service takes a little bit to make the drink, which feels at times it takes longer to make the drink than drink the drink. This Kung Fu Tea location took us by surprise -- we were stopping by the plaza to pick up dim sum from Sunflower Chinese Restaurant next door -- we placed an order through their mobile app (FYI, this is actually the only way to order at this location because of the pandemic) and got our medium Green Tea and medium Green Tea with Milk Cap within 10 minutes. I really want to love this place. The teas are amazingly good - addictive even! However, a trip to Kung Fu Tea is like a trip to the emergency room. It is chaotic, busy and stressful. If you download the app, you will be prompted to perform an update, which downloads another app. As an extra bonus, you can also order from Chowbus... This is probably an intentional foreshadowing of what will be your experience, whether in person or ordering online. My first visit, when i arrived after placing an online order, the person behind the counter told me my order wasn't ready. She left, as her shift was over. When i checked again with her replacement, my order was actually waiting for pickup. Today, one of my teas was made incorrectly, but I just didn't have the patience to go back and get it corrected. One of my favorite place to go to get bubble tea. The staffs there are very friendly an accommodating to adjusting the amount of ice or sugar in your tea. The place is always clean. They have a wide variety of teas and I have tired different teas there but my favorite are the mango tea with mango popping bubbles and the orange tea with the mango popping bubbles. But, the store itself smelled like mold...or musty...something bad. I cannot say enough amazing things about kung fu tea especially this location. They are always on top of their orders and very efficient, as this location gets very busy. Now during the current times I use an app to order my bubble tea and have been going so frequently that they know me by name lol. They have tons and tons of different flavors to choose from and you can customize your drink to your liking. I am trying to branch out and try more of them but I always end up sticking to my go to which is Honey Milk tea with 30% less sweetness, no ice, & bubbles! This specific drink is on the sweeer side, so 30% less sweet still tastes great, if you want to try to stay on the healthier side like myself. Four days a week, I'm in the general Hard/Sawmill/Smoky Row are for a few hours trying to kill a hours. Kung Fu Tea was a place the popped up on Yelp (bless you, Yelp) and I'm so glad it did because you can't really see this place from the road. I love me some bubble tea, and tea in general. I'm always stoked to find a new place to check out. This menu is pretty big, and a little bit intimidating. So I panicked and ordered a taro bubble tea, which is my go-to and a great way for me to make a base comparison between companies. As they were making my drink, I got a closer look at the menu. The first thing I noticed was that you can customize your sugar level, which is something I'd never even considered before. They also have a variety of toppings; like jellies, popping bubbles, etc. There were so many options that looked delicious, I'll most definitely be back to try something else. As for the drink itself, it was really good. I was a tiny bit disappointed that it wasn't as purple as other places but that's a really petty complaint. Cute place and friendly staff. My son and I came here for the first time today. I ordered a cold mango green tea and my son ordered a hot green tea of some kind. I enjoyed mine my son kinda of liked his as we are not sweet tea drinkers and whatever he chose was very sweet. The staff was great at explaining things and running through the menu a little with us. Dropped by here after dinner for some boba. It was my first time at this location since the one on Kenny is much closer to me. What stood out to me was how cute their wall art was. The side wall was painted with a colorful design of cute phrases. The atmosphere and vibe here seemed a little better than the Kenny location. Bathrooms were clean and my drink came out in a reasonable time. My go to is always the oolong milk tea. It's sweet, milky, oolong goodness. Their boba is nice and soft too. First time trying boba tea as my nephew insisted I give it a shot. He suggested this place as he's come here multiple times with his family. He ordered an orangeish colored tea which I can't recall the name of, and I ordered the oreo milk tea. At first I wasn't a big fan of the boba, but as I kept drinking, I immediately grew into it. KFT is also a favorite because I can order extra ice, no sugar (powder from the drinks themselves are plenty sweet already so no need for extra sugar - how do people do 100% [extra] sugar!?!?). Ok, so I gave in and used the app. It has gotten better. It has not crashed in a long while, so that's good. Drink orders are always finished by when the app indicates, and I do prefer ordering remotely, since the menu has so many different variants. The different drinks are delicious and interesting, and the store is always clean and efficient. The boba always tastes fresh, and never hard. It's still getting a 4 star because the app seems to leave out some add-in options. For example, there are two drinks which have peach or pineapple bits, and a third with strawberry jam, but none of these things are available on the app as add-ins on any other drink. My favorites are the "Cocoa cream wow milk cap" (which is the "tiger milk" you see all the time on youtube. As being a Taiwanese, this place is just OK to me. A medium size of coconut milk tea with pudding and a large size bubble milk tea costed me almost $10. Its very pricey. They use the non dairy milk in the milk tea. The flavor with non dairy milk tea is different to the real milk tea to me. This place offers WiFi.. but there is no sign of the WiFi password anywhere. I guess you have to ask for the password?! It's nice to give it a try if you don't know what the bubble tea is. read more
