SESAME MATCHA

Delicious boba as always! If you love matcha I recommend the sesame matcha. Service was fast even though there were multiple customers. Lots of tables open for people to sit and study. I will come again!

Love the ease of ordering here online and it has always been ready without problem. I also like their extensive choices of tea. Kung Fu is the only one that I have seen carried rose hip so far. I love this fruity tea flavor every now and then.

Just to give a bit of info on Bubble or Boba Tea for those who have never tried it. The word "boba" can refer to either a broad category of chunky drinks. This can include everything from iced tea with tapioca pearls to fresh juice loaded with fruity bits, or the black tapioca pearls in the drinks themselves. These drinks are believed to have originated in Taiwan in the 1980's and are wildly delicious. Kung Fu Tea is especially great because of their wide variety of options. They also provide you with the ability to customize the sugar lever, add toppings, and have different teas and flavors. I got the Oreo milk Bobo tea with 50 percent sugar and it was absolutely phenomenal. My husband had a Matcha Tea with an espresso shot which was also good, and probably a lot healthier. We were not able to order in as they are currently doing pick up only but the staff was friendly and efficient in the brief moment we saw them. Looking forward to returning again soon!

Thank you for the excellent customer service. Great Kung Fu location. Also, how cute are the PIKMIN? Trés kawaii.

One of my favorite place to go to get bubble tea. The staffs there are very friendly an accommodating to adjusting the amount of ice or sugar in your tea. The place is always clean. They have a wide variety of teas and I have tired different teas there but my favorite are the mango tea with mango popping bubbles and the orange tea with the mango popping bubbles. Those two are the best! I always have them put less ice in the tea. These teas are the perfect summer drinks.

I stopped by here with my husband and we picked up a couple of drinks. Their staff is very friendly, absolutely nothing bad to say about that! But, the store itself smelled like mold...or musty...something bad. After getting past that and determining yes I still want to "eat" here, the menu is very very confusing for someone who doesn't know what bubble tea is, or the difference between that and bubble tea or chai tea for that matter? The "bubbles" that they have...I still don't know exactly what they are, so I didn't get them in my drink. My husband decided to try them. I got the strawberry tea which is plain, but I was scared to try anything I didn't know. It was good, not the best, but good. My husband got sick of the bubbles and didn't finish his drink. So we know now if we go back to get light bubbles...but again, no explanation of anything and how many bubbles you get in a regular drink, light bubbles, etc. There's just a lot of explaining that needs to happen to a newbie and they didn't do a good job so I'm not coming back. Nothing wrong with the tea flavor but not worth the drive for me.

This is the second location in the city that I've visited. I had a hard time finding this place, since you can't see it off the street. Even the signage is outdated. I came in past 2 o'clock on a Friday and there were two girls in here studying. It was quiet enough though. I ordered my favorite: winter melon. Can't go wrong! They made it pretty quickly! There are a few parking spots out front marked for Kung Fu Tea, but there's a big 'ole lot that they share with all the other businesses in the strip. I was in that area of town doing errands so I'm not sure if I'll be back to this particular location.

Whoa. I know kung fu

It's been 10 minutes, and I'm DUE For another drink from Kung FU So now I'm going to rap for YOU And if it really sucks, just BOO So if you and your bf are THROUGH And you need something (someone) to DO Let me show you how my legend "GREW" And all my urban myths are TRUE Be glad your sister never KNEW What we did, or she'd want me TOO So do me like they do the DEW And I'll stick atop you like GLUE There is no taming of this SHREW I'll be the driver, you the SCREW You the river, me CANOE Or you can be Barbie's sexy SHOE Me Roger Daltrey, you the WHO You Chinatown Houston, me LOU Me dictator, you my COUP You Nepal, me KATHMANDU You 80s radio, me CUTTING CREW You a doctor's office, me the FLU You the Synagogue, me the JEW You the toilet, me the POO Wait, what Anyway Those boys will have to join the QUEUE And wait until I'm done with YOU You'll bounce like a KANGAROO Cause we're lovers, not fighters like FOO And when we're done (in a day or TWO) After I've made your kitty MEW And after I've finally WITHDREW Then it's time to go to Kung FU! WHAT What to get: Lemon Black Tea With Tapioca! Or: All the fruit teas are pretty good, especially if you go off menu and get black tea! Or: Go crazy and order your fruit teas with the very strong Oolong! Or in winter: Any of the hot milk teas! Which milk teas are best: Honey Oolong! Oolong! Maybe Taro or Almond! I don't perform music in the bathroom anymore. Otherwise it'd be "Sung Fu Tea." The fourth stop on my bubble tea tour of Columbus was KFT just north of the I-270 in the far NW burbs of C-BNus, and it was one of my favourite locations that I've ever been to. The decor here is spectacular and it's so comfortable and spacious and extremely friendly. They even sell Portuguese Custard Tarts! They're pretty good, but they have nothing on the LBT. Made by a friend who used to be at Baker. Still is apparently. And as for LBT. That's Lemon Black Tea for you uninitiated folks. I was asking what kind of beans they had one time. The girl was like "what is this, Mung Fu Tea?" The drinks here are a little sweeter than the Kung Fu Tea standard and a little bit more lemony and the tapioca is absolutely fantastic. Yes they absolutely know how to make tapioca. Very good job. One of my favourite locations in the whole country actually. And all the employees are angels. Did I mention it was one of my fave locations nationwide? Yes? Oh. I asked them both "what is the past tense of I Bring Kung Fu Tea?" They incorrectly responded "Brung Fu Tea." Now let's finish with some rap. As opposed to Finnish with some rap, which is a hip hop artist from Helsinki. So like Britney and Tinache, I made you OOH And now I'll introduce you to something NEW I'll give you yummy Boba to CHEW That defines a five-star REVIEW Lemon Black Tea's what I'll give to YOU It has a lot to LIVE UP TO But I know you'll share my POINT OF VIEW Like the 90's web you'll scream YAHOO Palestine will hear you louder then NETENYAHU Who's big on Google but not on YAHOO Crap I just double-used YAHOO Oh well, Altavista's dead, Excite TOO And no, my income tax returns aren't TRUE But like Joey said, that point is MOO So before we get audited by internal REVENUE Let's go and get Boba from KUNG FU! (And let me know please when you're period's DUE) WHAT

I cannot say enough amazing things about kung fu tea especially this location. They are always on top of their orders and very efficient, as this location gets very busy. Now during the current times I use an app to order my bubble tea and have been going so frequently that they know me by name lol. They have tons and tons of different flavors to choose from and you can customize your drink to your liking. I am trying to branch out and try more of them but I always end up sticking to my go to which is Honey Milk tea with 30% less sweetness, no ice, & bubbles! This specific drink is on the sweeer side, so 30% less sweet still tastes great, if you want to try to stay on the healthier side like myself. Pro Tip: Order your drink with no ice, so you get more drink in your cup, plus your drink will still be cold.

STRAWBERRY LEMONADE Yogurt with mango jelly YOGURT GRAPEFRUIT with aloe jelly
Ya Y.

Highly recommend their strawberry yogurt lemonade (limited time only). Very refreshing after the meal. I also ordered the yogurt grapefruit with aloe jelly. I think mango jelly tasted better with the yogurt drink. Kung fu tea is always my go-to place for the bubble tea.

Kid K saw it and wanted bubble tea after a hot day at the zoo (we had stopped for something at Trader Joe's.) Huge selection of drinks (only complaint: tiny print on menu screen on the wall, though they do also have it printed out and I bet it is on the computer kiosk.) Kid got an Oreo milk tea with bubbles, and loved it. I got a mango slushie and also loved it: refreshing, with mango bits in it. I had planned to pick up supper for later somewhere nearby, but they do have a couple of food items, Taiwanese sausage and popcorn chicken. So, saved a stop. The sausage is a small portion, just a snack; tender, flavorful, a little sweet. I'd get another. The popcorn chicken was a bigger portion, almost a meal's worth, and can be covered with several flavor powders. I got curry. There's also pepper, basil, and a few more. It was good. Tender bits of chicken, crispy, with flavor but not overwhelming. Would definitely get again. I would go a bit out of my way for this, as would Kid K. But at Sawmill and 161, and near Meijer and TJ's among many other places, you probably don't have to. Check it out.

I especially enjoyed the illusion of privacy offered by the dividing screens at the traditional seating area. I am apt to take off my shoes in public regardless of the occassion, but the sunken tables allowed me to unleash the dawgs in a more socially acceptable manner. Note that Tea Zone no longer offers as wide a variety of savory foods. In fact, they only serve ramen. But their bakery section is still robust! I'm not honestly the biggest fan of most fruit cakes but I had an uncontrollable craving. As far as store-bought fruit cakes go, it was not bad. As always, I wish the cake part had more depth of flavor than just ~vanilla~, but as a whole, the cake was quite soft and generously topped with an assortment of fruit! The servers were very sweet (haha) and offered to make my iced matcha latte unsweetened but I was like, no, I need the high. Because I sure as hell am not high on life. Not a direct quote

It was refreshing with a variety of fruits, sweet red bean, little rice cakes, and vanilla ice cream with sprinkles. They also have a plethora of freshly baked Korean style cakes and breads ranging from soboru (my personal favorite ) to red bean buns and fried donuts. Would love to see if they can do a red bean filled soboru bun! I was surprised by how good the fried donut was - super soft and filled with sweet red bean inside. If you're a chestnut lover, I also recommend the chestnut soboru bun. It had chunks of chestnuts inside and was not too sweet. If you're a savory person or need a meal, they also serve ramen There are plenty of seats inside and the interior has such a classic, homey feel to it. They even have traditional Korean style seating! The workers are also very sweet and friendly. Definitely a place I would go back whenever the sweets craving hits!

Must have been from the waffles & although that's not something I'd normally consider ordering, one whiff & I was craving them sooo bad! Not to mention that the prospect of exciting versions of them (like Pandan or Ube) made me want to ruin my dinner plans. So after I gained some self control, I ordered what seems like the healthiest & lighest drink up there. It just happened to also have all the flavors of things I adore. The Bambu Special is coconut meat, pandan jelly, brown longan, basil seed (think similar to a chia seed) & coconut water. All this with a crushed ice ball on top. Wow!! So subtle yet flavorful at the same time. I can't wait to make my way down their entire menu . The service: Another wow! The woman behind the counter was so nice & helpful. I mentioned how I like that it's a Vietnamese drink shop & she mentioned that her sister (I think an owner) & herself were both from Cambodia...one of my favorite places I've traveled to. It all made sense as the kindest people in all my travels were in Cambodia. She gave me future recommendations & I promised to return! The atmosphere: Clean, bright, variety of styled of seats, couches, high tops, & greenery walls that have cute neon signs. Wish this place was closer because it definitely had a coffee shop vibe. As a boba addict, I think I might have to pick this place over all the amazing boba options in that area & that's saying a lot!
