I decided to check out Kung Fu Tea tonight as I had been driving passed it for a while now and it had been intriguing me. My girlfriend and I walked into a well lit, cheery, and colorful place. We were greeted with a smile and a hello from a friendly lady working behind the counter. Ellen (my girlfriend) and I looked over a large menu, trying to pick out a drink that suited our fancy. There were many different drinks and toppings to choose from. They ranged from traditional tea, to coffee and espressos, to slushies and lemonades. I am a sucker for a slushy so I picked out the strawberry milk slush, even on a cold Halloween night. It had a unique taste that I enjoyed. It had tons of flavor with the strawberries but also creamy as well. Not a ton of ice, it wasn't a total slushy, but more of just an icy drink. Ellen got a strawberry lemon green tea. She isn't too keen on green tea and said she would have liked just a strawberry lemonade better. Green tea is a bit of an acquired taste. One interesting part of the trip was our server gave us a cup of the bubbles to try. It was a weird texture for sure. They tasted like honey soaked morsels. They would have been better in a drink rather than separate. However, I don't think I will choose to add bubbles to my next visit. It was slightly pricey, but I don't mind paying a little more to try something delicious. Thanks to her for letting us try them out! KFT is my favorite boba place in town. Their boba is consistently the best. Here are my thoughts based on various aspects of their tea and store: MILK TEA: It's creamy and more satisfying that other spots in town. I've never had watery milk tea from KFT! It's also nice to be able to control how much sugar and ice go into your drink. 50-70% less sugar with less ice are my go to! Don't forget to ask the employees if the flavor is presweetened or not! For example, taro is presweetened and so I'll order this with 0% sugar because it's already sweetened! BOBA: the bubbles or boba are always the perfect amount of chewy. I never had undercooked it over cooked bubbles atKFT. They've perfected their art! the mini bubbles are weird... so small the be enjoyable and ruins the sensory experience of drink. PRICE: price is average across town! It's not cheap but it's not expensive either! Just remember that all your toppings cost extra ;) ATMOSPHERE: TBH the atmosphere of the Kenny center location sucks. It's looks and feels dark. Atleast, it's clean on not so busy days! I prefer going to the Sawmill location because it's closer to my house and the lighting / decor is better. It also has more seating! read more

Courteous, professional and they check with you to make sure they got your order right. I love their brown sugar ginger hot milk tea, Thai milk tea, and taro milk tea. Wasn't a big fan of the winter melon tea as it tasted watery and I couldn't identify the winter melon flavor. The ginger tea is just like my mom used to make it when I was sick. Never order tea like this before? Never fear! The menu here is super easy to follow, and it gives your directions for how to order. I've been twice now, and have caught on easily (and I'm one who can get anxiety about such things). There are so many combinations and so many add-ins that you really can't go wrong, and if you're at a loss, the friendly staff is more than happy to give a recommendation. Otherwise, just go with your gut. If something sounds good, I'd be willing to bet it will be! Also, Milk Cap Tea is weird, but good. It's got almost a salty, cheesy taste to it (just the creamy milk topping), but it somehow works. Fair warning, just in case that sounds too odd for you. Visiting Dublin, OH for work and found this place! I recently had milk tea in Japan and had been looking for it here. Well here it is! It's wonderful. Such a cute place, nice staff, and good prices. Small cafe type place that surprisingly was really busy on a Sunday evening (8 pm)! Lots of younger teens it seems. The milk tea is really good, too. Currently all ordering is done via their app for no-contact pickup and it works very smoothly. I live about a mile away and will place the order as I'm leaving my house, by the time I arrive it's at the counter and ready. The person working the counter was a young lady, she was extremely friendly and helpful as I was a 1st time customer. I got the Passion tea iced. It was absolutely delicious. I loved it so much that w/in the same week I went back for more. The inside is neat and clean, which is always a plus. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot. However exiting can be tricky depending on time of visit since Sawmill Road is a busy area. I went to Kung Fu Tea for the first time the other day, and got a UNSWEETENED hot Thai milk tea (I ate 2 pieces of cake and 2 cookies earlier that day so I really wanted to tone it down a little on the sugar). The tea was VERY good. Perfect temperature, and it had some sweetness from the milk, so sugar wasn't needed. I really like the fact that you can customize the sweetness level, so you know the quality is probably better than the typical bubble tea place / you know they're not just making it from a powder. This is my go to bubble tea place. I love the way you can customize your drinks with different levels of sweetness. They have an epic selection of drinks to choose from. All with great flavor. I have tried other places but none as consistent. The Thai Tea flavor they came out with tastes exactly like the kind you would get at the Thai restaurant but with bubbles. It's my favorite. Then the match honey. They also have hot drinks which I haven't tried. I also haven't tried the blended drinks either which is something ill have to push myself to do. Because once I have a favorite it's hard for me to get away from it. Maybe next time I will finally try one of the blended drinks. So happy that a second location opened closer to where I live so I could get my bubble tea and taco fix. It's located by Sunflower and Haas. It is nicely decorated and pretty roomy. Service has always been really friendly and fast. They opened on 3/31 and the few times I've been there business was steady. I love that it's not crowded and could be in and out in minutes. I'm sure once word gets out this place will be packed. For now I'll enjoy getting bubble tea in my hands less than 2 minutes after I place my order. read more

What I love about KFT is that no matter what location, it is always consistently good. I used to go when I lived in New York and that's when I first had it - i always order a variety of drinks and I've never been disappointed so if you've never had boba I would highly recommend KFT! I've been home in Southern California where there are a lot of boba places to choose from, but KFT is always one of my top choices. One of the staff was very patient with a small group of customers that was not familiar with bubble tea and how the different toppings go with the drinks since it was their first time there.
