I've been to Kung fu tea 7 times last a month and was happy taste each time. But customer service and tip. I usually ordered the oorong tea or taro milk tea 25% sweetness. I paid around $6 and then i felt like i had to leave a tip more then 15% automatically cuz they turn the screen around and it says check one 15%, 25%, etc.(or other %)No option less then 15% and 0% tip even customer service is no good. One guy need to be change better customer service. He looks oldest and i was unhappy if he helped me. Overall, Milk tea taste great but i was a bit disappointed customer service and tip. read more

Kung Fu Tea is something amazing and special. This place serves one of the tastiest drinks around. I always try to come here with friends after our KBBQ trips to Duluth. This location is one of the closer one for me. The shop is relatively tiny for how much business it gets. Because this place is always filled to the brim with people. We came on a Saturday night, and surprisingly, the line wasn't out of the door like it normally was like at this location. If you come here, always expect it to be packed. We came here maybe around 9:30 pm, and they were out of the boba. My party was very disappointed because, even if the crowd wasn't out the door, it was a Saturday night. And Saturday night = big business = better keep those bobas coming. It was going to be over a 30 minute wait, and we weren't planning on waiting that long for drinks. I think my issue was that if it was a Wednesday night, I would be okay with them being out...but Saturday? No.. So, I always get the same drink, Honey Oolong Tea, but I decided to branch out. The Lemon Green Tea was sadly not for me. Which was sad, because on paper, it would be perfect. Instead of the boba, I got the grass jelly. I grew up on grass jelly drinks, so it wasn't too far out with what I'm used too. The grass jelly doesn't have the sweetness that the boba has, so my drink could use a little more sweetness. Horrible service. Ordered ahead of going to pick up to give plenty of time in case they were backed up and ended up waiting over 20 minutes after getting there. I understand that it's busy and may get backed up due to COVID-19, but there were people who got there while we were waiting that ordered there and got their orders first. My favorite is a mango slush with the popping juice bubbles. I tried it for the first time in the Bahamas and come here for my fix periodically. All time addiction. We live in Florida and have to drive almost 4 hours to drink Kung Fu tea but that alone pales in comparison to Georgia's branch. We bounce back and forth between two places and both are absolutely, delusionally delish. Taking my word for it though is nust by going on a biased opinion so let me let you in on a secret. They almost always have lines out the door. Those lines are filled with asians of all decents, chinese, korean, phillipino, indian and more. This location disappoints me every time I visit. I got Oolong milk tea with milk cap and Oreo. The drink came with Oreo crumbles mixed in with milk cap... Why on earth would you do that!! I've been to ton of milk tea places in the US and Asia and they always put Oreo on top of milk cap to keep the cookie crumble dry and crunchy!! I asked for milk cap and Oreo as toppings not to mix them together!!! Anyway, the Oreo crumbles were soggy because they soaked up in the milk cap and dropped to the bottom of the drink. But my bf and I come here a lot.. like.. a lot. lol The few main drinks we get here are, Oolong Milk Tea, Wintermelon Tea (no milk - just the tea, slightly sweeten) and their Mango Green Tea. Everywhere we go to try Oolong MT, we always come back to KFT for it. The way they make their Oolong is just right. Not too much tea or creamer. They do get super busy and sometimes its out the door (which mean they are that good for business to be busy). Sometimes we just have to be patient and wait or just come back another time. The one thing that I realized they change a lot, is the way the line forms to order. One day, they'll have people stand to the right of the cash register and have the line form out the door, other times, the line will form to the left of the cash register blocking the "Pick Up" area. With the space being that small, its kind of hard to know where you need to be to order your drinks. read more

Consistently good boba tea - you can get to any of the Kung Fu locations in Atlanta and the quality and service will be there. This one in Duluth seems to be busy at all times - especially on weekend nights, the line can be long but they usually move fast (the order number shouting part is off putting... maybe a display showing the numbers would help...) I tried several drinks from the menu in multiple trips and everything is good. Passionfruit tea or the oolong milk tea (always with boba, or mini boba) are solid options. I usually order with little sugar, and less ice - you can customize the level of ice and sugar in almost all orders (honey tea exceptions). It was our first time here; me and my gf had the Kung Fu Milk Tea with Red Bean and Aloe, as well as their Chicken Wings. The food was just ok, and tasted a little weird. The place had a nice selection and atmosphere - because of that I would rate it 3 stars. However later that night, we both got a severe case of food poisoning. This is probably my favorite bubble tea spot in town. The flavors are good, the quality of tea used is excellent and flavorful, and the prices are right. The boba pearls (tapioca balls) are just the right consistency and very chewy. The menu is easy to read and the shop itself is warm and inviting. I will be happy to bring friends and family here when we are in the mood for a drink or just want to go hangout. The quality and flavor of their bubble teas is better than Sweet Hut. I can see myself returning here occasionally or whenever I have a craving for a bubble tea aka boba. Ambience: It's a snug little restaurant in a little strip mall. Most folks order and leave, but they have a few tables available to sit and chat. After 9pm or so, this place gets nuts with a lot of people. Service: Service is direct and friendly. Just step up to the counter and place your order (and pay attention to your number -- you'll need to claim your drink when they're done preparing it) Drinks: Yeah, I know they have a fairly diverse menu that includes food and slushees and other things. But you came here for the bubble tea, right? These folks are chemists here: everything is weighed and measured precisely -- resulting in a very consistent drink every time. For the uninitiated, boba are tapioca balls that are chewy. They get added to a drink for some extra texture and flavor. Also: you can ask for more or less sugar and ice -- so you get exactly the consistency and flavor you're after every time. Value for money: Very reasonable. I came to this Kung Fu Tea at 10:00PM on a Friday night and it was absolutely packed! The place was like a teenage night club and the vibe was very energetic. The place is brightly lit and there are plenty of seats for you and a group of friends to hang out (as long as you can get one!) The line was long, but it moved fairly quickly. I ordered a taro milk tea with tapioca: 75% sugar and less ice. I got what I expected from the place - nothing amazing or noteworthy. What makes this a 3 star and not a 4 star is that after the speedy purchase, the backlog was with the workers behind the bar. Production was awfully slow (maybe because I'm a New Yorker?) but compared to NYC peak hours, Kung Fu Tea here falls short in terms of speed. Really good bubble tea! I appreciate how consistent their quality of drinks and boba are as well. I always order their milk tea and have never found it too diluted or overly sweetened (but I always ask for less sugar). The food here is decent. I've had the chicken nuggets and steamed dumplings. Both pretty good and convenient when you just want a bit of food with your drink. The only drawback with this place is the interior itself. There is not much seating which means cramped tables and sitting way too close with other customers on crowded weekends. The music is also played a bit loud in my personal opinion, so I don't think this would be a good place to do work. However, the space is decorated nicely and is a nice place to hang out for a bit during a less busy time, like the middle of a weekday. Or just stop by to get a drink to go! Their chicken nuggets are delicious. Fried crispy with nice touch of salt and spicy. As for drinks, I feel they all taste the same everywhere. I always forget about Kung Fu Tea because it's tucked away in a plaza on another road. The store itself is small and seating is very limited so it can get full real fast on a busy day/night. The prices are reasonable for the size and the menu has a lot of variety in the types of drinks and flavors offered. The average price is around $4 and there is a card minimum of around $5 so if you don't have cash and you want to buy a drink, be prepared to order two or else you'll have to take out cash somewhere. Kung fu tea has the best bubble tea out of any location in Atlanta! I have been to Sweet Hut, ViVi, Quicklys, Boba Mocha, basically almost every big bubble tea place... and kung fu tea has them beat by a long shot. They are a little more expensive but totally worth the extra 50 cents to a dollar. Their tea has a different flavor that I really like and their bubbles are to die for and actually taste like honey rather than just sugar. They also have the perfect chewy texture. I usually get the medium kung fu milk tea with boba and less sugar. I find that the bubbles are sweet enough to carry the tea without needing full sweetness in the tea. Costs me $4.50. I also have gotten their longan and jujube tea in the winter. It's very asian and warming. That one does only come in the large size. This is about $5 i think. They have a $5 card minimum which used to mean you had to pay in cash or get two drinks but the recently got a mobile app that lets you pay with card regardless of purchase quantity! You can get free drinks by enrolling too so why not. Their kitchen snacks are all right I think. Personally I think sweet huts are better with bigger serving, less money, and same quality. Definitely come here for the best bubble tea ever. read more

After trying a couple of drinks I have settle on the Winter Melon Milk Tea with less sugar and less ice as my favorite. I like how the focus of Kung Fu Tea is THE TEA, because when I have bubble tea, I don't just want a drink of milk and sugar - I want to taste the tea. I arrived at Kung Fu Tea on a Saturday at 12pm and there was no wait at all. However, I felt challenged to a fight that was creating my own drink because there were so many options! Ranging from normal tea to milk tea, hot or cold, varying levels of sugar, ice, and toppings, Kung Fu is great at catering to your own tastes. I ended up ordering the Honey Milk Green Tea, 30% sugar, less ice, and nata jelly. I then found out that only 50% sugar was possible because of the "honey" aspect which was quite deceiving. I wish that would be made clear on the menu. My drink came and it was smooth and consistent to down, not bad. Kung Fu Tea's decor is really cute with strung lights and wooden seating, there was ample room to catchup or chat during off hours. My drink ended up being around $5 which is not bad, but expensive for Georgia in my opinion. I could get more toppings at that price for Boba in Los Angeles. Yay! A Duluth location of Kung Fu Tea! This location is just like the BuHi location, with exactly the same drink menu. In addition to the drink menu, this location has food options as well (so I guess they have a kitchen). This location is larger than the BuHi location, with more seating and tables if you want to hang out with your bubble tea (and your friends I suppose). The parking lot (shared with other stores in the strip mall) is a bit larger too. The drink quality is consistent (consistently good!) and it's super convenient to have a Duluth location for what is pretty much my favorite Bubble Tea spot. Just like at the other KFT location, you can order your drink and specify regular, less or not sweet (how much sugar is added), and you can also specify how much ice you would like in your drink. I love that you can customize the sugar level and ice level of your drink. read more

Parking - A huge lot. KFT shares the lot with several other shops too... so finding a spot may take an extra 2 minutes. Be patient! Space - I want to say.. a smidgen bigger than the BuHi location. I think maybe they have more seats/tables? The pick up area is tiny though Service - why a 3. I've been here twice now. Each time, getting our drinks took forever. At the BuHi location, I got my drink within 5 to 7 mins. Even with a huge rush. This location gives you a buzzer. The buzzer goes off when your drinks are done. The last time I went, my tables' drinks were all done but sitting by the machines. We didn't get them till after we all got up and asked "where are our drinks?" - about 15 to 20 mins later. Kind of weird they didn't buzz us. Hmm. Just glad we decided to go up to the machine folks. They serve food here! Haven't tried any but will one day. Bubbles here are solid.
