I've always been a fan of KFT, ever since visiting their first Flushing location in 2010 because their tea tastes the closest to black milk tea in Taiwan. This location is even more fun because their seasonal drinks are definitely worth trying and always create excitement. Taiwan is where bibble tea is from. I visit Taiwan annually just to drink bubble tea and create food content. What is my go to classic drink here? Black Milk Tea large 50% sugar with classic boba. In case you can't take a trip to Taiwan, this drink wil take you there in a sip. This location is extremely convenient, in the Assi Plaza. KUNG FU Tea is my all time favorite tea place. I typically have a place for different drinks but kungfu is my go to place. Winter Melon green tea classic and Oolong Milk tea are my two favorites. Only thing I dislike about this location vs the one in Duluth is they don't serve food here. Besides that the service here is great. You'll be in and out within 5 minutes after placing your order. I have visited other Kung fu teas, but was grabbing dinner close by and decided to try this location. They were so busy on a Thursday evening. There were 5 other people in line. Luckily, I ordered online and didn't have to wait in line. I did get there earlier than expected and had to wait on the side. I didn't interact too much with them since they were so busy, but they did prepare my order in a timely manner after I told them my name. I tried their new espresso Thai tea for a BOGO deal they had that day. I love the Halloween cup it came in (cold) and the holiday one (hot). The Thai tea flavor was a bit subtle, but it was nice and smooth. I always forget that boba gets a bit soft in hot drinks and will forgo that next time. Solid bubble tea as usual. We came in with a big group of friends and they refused to take the last two orders because they were closing in 6 minutes. And they threw away the boba leftovers in front of me. I could be wrong, but I feel as though they definitely could have taken two more orders and finished off the day. I LOVE boba but this was my last time visiting this shop. Came here after the Yelp event next door at La Mixteca! You know how KFT is if you have ever had it. It's pretty much standard across the board. Come, get your boba, they make it fresh. Oolong milk teas for me are the go to, if you want to save it to drink later, I would suggest not to get any boba, but perhaps a jelly as it'll stay better in the fridge. It's so unfortunate when you visit a long time standing business that you've been loyal to for years and to see the service going to crap. Stopped by today for my usual and the service was so disappointing. These young girls working there don't smile or greet customers friendly. As I was ordering, the cashier was speaking with a rude tone and using her "come on/ and" hand motion at me to answer the question about ice as if I was stupid. This is probably my favorite Kung Fu Tea location. More spacious, cleaner, and the staff is friendly. This one is better maintained. Maybe because it's newer it feels a lot cleaner. They also have some board games/card games to play while you hang out. They also serve up and sell some Asian snacks. Also, saw they now sell a large variety of macaron flavors. Haven't tried any of the macarons so can't speak on that just yet. I have tried some of the famous Asian matcha snacks they sell here. Drinks are good. Their boba is fresh and tasty as well. You can adjust your sugar level and ice amount for your drink. You can also choose from a variety of topics. Definitely a legit bubble tea chain. read more

This KFT is probably my favorite Kung Fu Tea in Atlanta. The Duluth one is always overcrowded with sometimes notoriously long waits, and I was so happy to hear they opened -- it was especially a delight when I was living in the Suwanee/Lawrenceville area. I always order ahead via the mobile app and it's perfect because it's usually always ready by the time I go and pick it up. I literally just grab and go. The thing I like about all KFTs are that the taste is always consistent. Never different, and I love the fact that they use lactaid milk. I'm not even lactose intolerant but it just shows that they try to be inclusive of all milk tea lovers. This location doesn't offer any snacks (vs. Duluth) but if I'm just picking up bubble tea, I will always choose this location over Duluth any day. My go to order is the honey oolong milk tea (70% sugar) with boba & nata jelly (or herbal jelly depending on my mood). People say I'm weird for putting nata jelly in my milk teas but it's just a personal preference. I occasionally get other drinks from here as well and I've never been disappointed with the quality. read more

This Kung Fu Tea is closer for me than the Duluth location, but I'd rather drive out of the way to go to the Duluth location because this one just isn't as good. Although it's a convenient location near Assi market and I can drop by after grocery shopping, it's not nearly as consistent as the other location. The few times I've come here my drinks haven't tasted that great. They use a formula so I'm not sure if they have a lot of new workers being trained that just don't remember it right? Also, it really annoys me that my drinks come out un-sealed. It spills and gets everywhere. I mean what's the point of getting it sealed if that's still going to happen! The last time this happened, I let the girl know and she attempted to re-seal it but some other girl basically came up and reprimanded her saying "That's NOT how you do it." I'm updating my review for a few reasons but mainly because the customer service has improved and the quality has always been high here. Management pays attention and the team members that work here are fast efficient and friendly. My latest order was a green milk tea because the management said that's probably one of the healthier options and you know how I'm all about healthy so I definitely approve of this place and give them my two thumbs up and five star Yelp review approval. Came here 3 times so far. Not as much seating it feels like compared to the one on old Norcross. It is definitely more spacious though. They can easily add more seating. Kinda loud for working but they decent amount of outlets. Assi plaza can get packed so parking can be difficult at times. Overall teas are great and consistent to other KFT locations. read more

First timer at Kung Fu Tea! Will definitely be back! I was in the area looking to pick up a Boba Tea for my son. Honestly, I am a rookie at ordering these drinks, however the staff was very friendly and informative! The shop was very festive (decorated for the holidays) and i enjoyed the music! They had nice posters showing their best sellers (helps people like me!!!) and there were clear menus on the wall and at the counter to assist with the ordering process. My son loves the "popping" balls in his drink. These are smaller than the Tapioca balls and they pop in your mouth. They offered two flavors the day i was there - coffee and grape. I ordered the slush version - strawberry milk with popping grape! It was Amazing! Will definitely be back to try more! read more

I love this new KFT location. It's clean, the service is great, and the drinks (as always) are delicious. I normally get the mango green tea with aloe topping. Zero extra sugar (it's already pretty sweet) and less ice. It never disappoints. The only thing that would make this location better would be more seating (which is hard to do with the limited space they have). Also, with KFT being busy fairly regularly (especially on the weekends) it would be a nice show of intentionality on the management end to do something to make waiting lines more defined and knowing when your order is ready more convenient (pager or order number screen vs an employee just shouting out order numbers). read more

Bought 3 things Taro slush with boba - it was good (wish they had taro chunks like Taste Tea) like regular taro slush. They only have regular size boba, they dont have small boba. Kung fu Milk tea with Oreo - average nothing special Yakult with orange juice - surprisingly good! I love Yakult and had to get this drink. It's so nice to have a Kung Fu Tea here in Suwanee now! This location is in the same plaza as the Assi shopping market & is next door to So Gong Dong. I've been plenty of times already and the service is always friendly. Unfortunately this location doesn't serve any food! My favorite drinks to order include: * Green Tea with milk cap - I love milk caps! If you've never had one, it is a creamy, slightly salty, slightly sweet milk foam cap that you can top your drink with. * Taro Milk Green Tea - KFT's taro milk tea is one of my favorites around, but it is pretty sweet at normal sugar level, so I usually get 50% * Mango Snow Slush - this is a nice, refreshing, icy drink that's perfect for a hot day. Never had bubble tea before - or anything like it for that matter and this experience was wonderful! The store was very clean and looked brand new. I loved the layout and the art on the walls. The service woman helped me pick out a drink that was along the lines of something I would like which turned out to be peach oolong tea. Then i decided to add nata jelly for the heck of it and it was delicious!! I plan on returning the next time I need a pick-me-up and want to treat myself. This is like Kung Fu Tea #4 in Atlanta. Maybe there's more that I don't know about. I didn't know about this until I came to eat at Bally Budaejjigae in the same shopping center. Luckily, my favorite boba tea shop was there. This is the Kung Fu Tea we all know and love. I love the Oolong Milk Tea with bubbles. Heck, getting it with herbal jelly is great too. It gives it a nice herbaly flavor. I like to get it with 0% sugar since the tea itself is sweet enough from the milk and boba. But if you want more sugar in your life, you can change it to 30%, 70%, 100% or even 130% sugar! If you're a frequent Kung Fu Tea drinker, like I am, they have the Level Up device to pay. I suggest everyone to do that since it's quick and easy to pay for your drink, and you get rewards the more time you use it. The line went quickly and they got my tea out quick. What more can you ask for? If you need boba tea in the area, KFT is a good one. read more
