We stopped in again Sunday, and even though the place was BUSY, the service was still top-notch. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Nobody gave off that "please don't ask me another question" busy-day energy. This time we tried the sampler with four different ice cream flavors, which is perfect when your brain says, "Just pick one," but your stomach says, "Why limit ourselves?" And then came the funniest part of the visit. She told us one of the flavors was caramelized pineapple... and somehow I heard Spider-Man. LOL. I have absolutely no idea how my brain got from caramelized pineapple to Spider-Man, but once I said it, the whole family lost it. We were all cracking up. So now, whether they like it or not, that flavor will probably forever be known as "the Spider-Man ice cream" in our house. LOL. Of course, we also had to get the Sunny Mango again. That drink is AMAZING and has officially become one of our must-orders. My daughter went with the birthday cake ice cream in a waffle cone and absolutely loved it. Great treats, great atmosphere, and even better people. The fact that they handled a busy Sunday this well says a lot. Also, despite the name, there really weren't much of a tea selection. I was able to meet the owner and I love that she spends good time to make and get fresh ingredients for her bowls. My friend and I both got The Runway (bowl floats) because we couldn't decide. They have the usual variety of base and toppings that you'd expect in a bowl shop (with the exception of some cereal toppings), but MAN was it fresh! Definitely more fresh than Cocobowlz as much as I like them. The menu prices I thought were pretty decent. A small bowl (one of the cups from the flight) for $4 is a decent size and the large $14 is bigger than any bowl than I've seen in the area. Personally it is a little of a bummer that it's in Piedmont and a 20+ minute drive for me (I'm in Greenville), but I will definitely go out of my way to eat here more in the near future.
