Great bubble tea! The atmosphere inside was very appealing. It was hard to understand the English of the staff members. But eventually we were able to communicate. Our bubble tea was outstanding! My granddaughter enjoyed the strawberry flavor since that is her favorite. Her nanny had the Leche flavor and I had the Toro. Being new to Greenville our nanny said the she is definitely going to become a regular. The only major issue was the parking. We had to park in a "no parking" spot because we couldn't find any legal parking. I am certain that the business would have more customers if they made some sort of agreement with their neighbors for parking spots. Awe man. I had high hopes. Love the location to downtown. Drinking boba tea and walking around downtown Greenville is the best. Upon walking into Feng Cha, the outdoor lights hang low, and the trash can lid is open near the front door. It's Saturday and when we walk in the workers were all sitting down in the corner. They quickly jumped up to take our order. Unfortunately, I ordered their first drink on the list "Dirty Crème Brûlée" however upon being made, the first sip tasted too sweet and further inspection revealed it was not boba milk tea, but rather just boba milk. The worker offered to put the shot of either oolong or regular black tea in and I agreed, but that shot was not even remotely close to the normal brewed black boba milk tea. So I had to insist they merely make the correct drink "dirty black milk tea with boba and crème brûlée." This is where the workers had to get their manager involved. Begrudgingly, the manager agreed to have them remake the drink and they told me that next time I would have to buy another drink if I make the mistake again. So the one star is for putting the onus on the customer rather than the business. I really wanted to love this boba place but the customer service was not the southern hospitality nor the Taiwanese boba tea culture that I've grown accustomed to. Also, worth mentioning that their boba is not as good as One Zo boba in ATL. If they made their boba in house maybe it wouldn't have that crumbly texture at its core. Although the tea was brewed well on my second drink, I'm afraid the brûlée from the previous drink was poured into the bottom. So my second drink was a mix of my first. This made the boba experience even worse as there was a noticeable sugar crunch in each bite distracting from the usual boba chewiness. When I drop $40 for a party at a boba tea place in downtown I have high expectations and I have little patience for any push back that rather take it easy on the workers for their benefit rather than the customer. read more

This new entry to a surprisingly unfilled Greenville dessert scene offers both an extensive tea menu and some small cakes made in house. I got their strawberry tea with a low level of sweetness and no toppings in order to save room for a matcha cake. The tea was plenty flavorful even without a ton of sugar, being full of fresh strawberry pulp, while the cake offered an interesting milky texture. While being just off of the main downtown stretch, it was a nicely decorated indoor space for those who wished to eat, and when I stopped in was done up for Halloween. read more

We are down at Greenville for the weekend for the Fall for Greenville event, decided to walk out the event to check this place out. When you walk into this place, it felt nice and clean. It provided an atmosphere that you want to be in and sit for la while to hang out. Then comes the staff, they are friendly and explained in detail what unique about their drinks and desserts. The drinks were great, they are fruity and the fruit inside were fresh, also not overly sweet. But this Strawberry Cake, man I will want two more of this, it tasted amazing, it is spongy and delicious. I will like to try all the flavors. I will come back for sure next time in Greenville. read more

Beautiful little "hole in the wall" place with high quality drinks, friendly service, and beautiful surroundings and even beautiful packaging (straws & cups were the most stylish I remember seeing). They also have Japanese sponge cakes, but they sell out quickly so were already gone by the time we got there (early evening). Hope many people find this place & keep it well in business. Not the same as other feng cha locations! Quality try control is WAY low here. Tried it two years ago, and the dirty boba cream brûlée is like life changing at other locations but here it's so weak!! I wanted to try it again one day but they were so slow and panicked and got irritated at me for asking a question I just left. I had waited probably 5 mins before they even acknowledged me. My family stopped by here after doing some shopping. The two guys at the register were super helpful in finding out what was in everything and getting around dietary restrictions. This is a cute boba shop and probably one of the better ones Greenville has to offer. The drinks are a little overpriced averaging around $7-8, but hey, I guess that's how the economy is nowadays. Compared to Ding Tea, Kung Fu Tea, and Mochinut in Greer, I would say Feng Cha tastes better and has more of an "authentic" boba shop taste similar to what I've had in CA hence the 4/5 stars. I got the mango breeze without the cheese foam. My only complaint about the drink was that the boba balls were firm and could've been cooked longer. It was very chewy. But the staff was very nice and friendly. Restroom was clean and accessible. Another downside is the lack of parking lot for the place. There is a paid lot next to the shop or you can try finding street parking. I also wish there were more seats so you can sit and study. read more

One of the best little boba spots in the area, the boba and jelly's in the teas are soft and not a weird hard chewy texture like a lot of other places. Their green tea cake slice is delicious as well. It's got a very nice aesthetic inside and the staff is super friendly. read more
