This was our first time trying this place out and for the most part it was pretty good. Even though there was only one person working in the front, she was very friendly, and made our drinks in a timely manner. I really liked the Pokemon theme cups they had available and their menu offered a variety of different options to choose from. Both of our beverages tasted good, but the milk tea didn't have that strong tea flavor I was hoping for. If that's not a whole package vibe, I don't know what is. Really, its the ambiance. Once you walk in, first thing you see are 4 picnick table situations. Each table can sit like i think 6? But i'm sure strangers sit next to each other all the time here, and it wouldn't feel weird at all. If i had to guess, people probably come here to hang out and play card games. Not gambling, but like card dual things. I'm not too familiar with that culture, but I've seen it in other places. Looks fun, and this place looks ideal for it. They even have a big jinga thing! Really though, it's not that loud here at this hour, and I'm too shy to even touch those blocks when its this quiet =X I ordered a Winter Melon Tea with no toppings. TBH both drinks were heavenly!!! The Oreo Wow had Oreo cookie crumbs, sweet and Cocoa Cream was more caramelised, sea salty and sweet flavoured with milk cream foam on top !! Also to mention their Tapioca balls were so soft and chewy. I've tried many tea places but this is on my No.1 list. Boba is really good!! I wanted to give this a 5 star based on their specialty and not on their food; I didn't like the taiyaki (Japanese fish shaped waffle with filling). Convinient location on Warm Springs and Rainbow, close to Sprouts and park on Rainbow. When i went inside I was amazed with enterior how interesting is everything. They have couple of big tables with benches which could accommodate at least 8 people. Also i noticed some games that have been displayed od the tables (I think it's a great idea to have something like that). I was asking if they could make boba with some dairy free milk and the guy explained me that they all make milk teas with milk powder which is dairy free. Actually this was new to me. I have not bought anything here, but the manager is terrible. My daughter applied here because it is close to home and would have been her side job. He told her to come in for three hours from 8 to 11 pm for "training". After that one shift he never called her again. No check, no schedule, nothing. Hello new favorite tea spot! Kung Fu Tea is dangerously close to my work--I'm talking minutes away. I was introduced to it by a promotion from T-Mobile (which, ironically, I didn't even think to use). I'm remarkably inconsistent with my bubble tea orders, so this time, I got an Oreo milk tea. It was super good. It tasted like a melted milkshake and I mean that in the best possible way. I also ordered it with extra boba. I liked the flavor of the boba and the texture was perfect. This location. Does not have indoor seating due to Covid, but it had a cute waiting area and appeared very clean and well-kept regardless. The cashier was super friendly and helpful in guiding me through the menu since I was a newbie. I really like this place! I've been coming here since 2019, back then the drinks were a little inconsistent. In more recent years my drinks have been very consistent. I'm not sure if they changed their procedures or if I've just gotten really lucky the last few times. So for that reason I'll give 4 stars instead of 5. The staff is usually pretty dull and unamused. There are some tables where you can sit and meet up. My favorite drink is the rosehip milk tea! Oohh and the winter melon milk tea as well! Prices are reasonable(ish). Just to note, sometimes they can get busy and the line can be long so there maybe a wait and the staff may not as be attentive or friendly, but to combat they quickly prepare orders and they have online/app ordering if you place order ahead of time.
