Found Zero Degrees a hidden gem of an eatery and specialty coffee and milkshakes place to add to our favorite go to places when in Las Vegas. Zero Degrees both provide excellent customer service and delicious Asian and Mexican fusion type food and specialty drinks. On this visit, we ordered the Carne Asada Fries, Garlic Noodles with Shrimp, Chicken Tender with Fries, Strawberry Cheesecake Shake, Ube Horchata Refresher and Ube Coffee. Everything we ordered was on point. The Carne Asada Fries was plentiful and flavorful. The Carne Asada was tender and not overcooked. The Garlic Noodles with Shrimp was on fire. The garlic and seasoning of the noodles and shrimp perfectly blend together. The chicken tenders were meaty and not over cooked. We also loved the Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake as you can taste the strawberry and yet it's not tarty and not too sweet. The Ube Horchata was good. My favorite was the Ube Coffee it was Vietnamese coffee with espresso topped with Ube cream. I'm updating my review because this is now the second time my order has been incorrect. I ordered the garlic butter chicken, but what I received was really spicy chicken instead. When I brought the mistake to their attention, it still wasn't properly resolved. Rather than replacing the dish, I was simply given a cup of butter. The chicken remained spicy, and adding the butter only made the meal greasy. At this point, it's the principle of the matter. I came in looking for a snack and a drink while getting work done on my laptop. Ordered a popcorn chicken "snack" (versus a meal which includes fries or rice) and a large watermelon slush. Food took about 10 minutes, but the popcorn chicken was very hot, fresh out of the fryer. The breading on the chicken was very light, and I prefer a more crispy, thicker breading, but it was very meat dense. The "mild" spice I requested was on the high end of my tolerance level, but the included dipping sauce helped out (I chose ranch). The watermelon slush was excellent, with chunks of watermelon on top of the drink. Obviously blended from fresh fruit (versus a syrup), it was the perfect compliment to the spicy chicken. A local gem (aka my mom lol) first put us onto this mangonada spot years ago when they were closer to the Red Rock/Summerlin area. Even after they moved, we had to make our way back this time with my kids in tow to relive it. Safe to say, it did not disappoint. The drinks are just as refreshing and flavorful as we remembered. Okay, I had to leave a review for this place because these drinks are AMAZING. I usually drink water and normally do NOT go for slushy drinks at all, so the fact that we are literally driving back the very next day says everything. My daughter wanted the watermelon flavor, and after tasting it, I immediately noticed it tasted like REAL watermelon. Not syrupy, not artificial, not that generic fake watermelon flavor most places use. It genuinely tasted fresh and authentic. It caught my attention so much that I ended up ordering the spicy watermelon with tajín, and I was literally raving about it the entire time. It was SO refreshing. The employee taking our order told me they actually pick fresh watermelons daily and don't use syrups or fake flavorings, and honestly...you can absolutely tell. I found Zero Degrees while we were living at Red Rock Casino for 6 months. I originally came across it on DoorDash, and everything on the menu just looked so good. Came to this area to workout at the Planet Fitness gym beside it. Happened that this fast food place was open so I dropped by to try. Was attracted to the Garlic Pasta shown at the window. Found out that they also had chicken tenders and some boba drinks. Absolutely LOVED ALL of THESE. The chicken tenders were, as the name says... tender. Loved it, loved it, LOVED IT. The place was wide, simply decorated and clean. No noise as there were no youngsters around. Service was quick and superb. I hardly waited and my food was there within minutes.
