I use Thai tea as my go-to base drink to see if a Boba spot is good. It's a common drink on almost every menu and it's very common for places to cheap out by just using powder. And the first thing I noticed was that you can actually see some of the tea leaves residue in the drink which means it's gonna be really good and authentic tasting. And I was right, it tasted so good you can clearly taste the quality of the tea and not just sweet cream and sugar. While I only tried a Thai Tea and can't say much about the many other drinks on the menu, I think if a place can't even make a good Thai tea I wouldn't trust them to make anything else. So because this drink was so good, I would feel comfortable recommending this place as a whole for all their drinks. The best way to describe this place is "third space" where people would go to be in each other's company. There are game stations and pinball machines galore, along with big tables for board games. With a boba or ice cream purchase, I believe you get one hour of free game play. Then, for additional time, you would need quarters and the counter has change for anyone who needs it. The service was fast and the people helping us were welcoming. We got mostly fruit tea drinks as a group and eveerything was customized to our liking. Some of us asked for less sweet, and they obliged. This is a business that is definitely worth checking out. The unique thing about this Happy Lemon is they have a monster size for drinks, which is larger than their already large drink! We ordered a mango green tea with mango agar boba (they offer mango popping boba with this drink as an option) and green tea with salted cheese and boba. The mango green tea also comes only in either half sweet or 100% sweet (no 3/4 or 75% sweetness). It was very refreshing and I enjoyed the mango fruit bits. Service was incredibly warm and friendly!
