My girls and I came on a rainy day, still craving for Boba! This place is very clean and matter fact it smelled like either Lysol or some cleaning agent. However, it was clean! There's plenty of space for big groups. We ordered their jasmine milk, tea, mango tea And a couple other drinks off of their top 10 list. I love the use of their creamer it was really creamy. And they really adhered to the sugar and ice levels that we asked for. I wish we had some closer to my house, but I try to stop by a kung fu tea whenever I see it in another town. read more

3/5: Stopped by here since my friend was feeling under the weather and she saw they had ginger drink. When we got here, it was just ginger milk & no tea. We asked if she could just put some ginger syrup into the tea drink and she said couldn't. I'm not sure why. She made our drinks before we ordered through the phone app and assumed the sugar was regular instead of asking us. My friend was very understanding and said it's ok since the lady had already made her drink. It end up being too sweet. If my friend was understanding about the sugar level not being what she wanted, I feel like the server preparing our drinks could have been a little kinder and offered the ginger syrup to add to the tea order. The prices are a few cents cheaper than Bay Area boba drinks. The flavor of the drinks doesn't taste watered down but their sweetness levels need to be adjusted more. The boba is at least a day old as they were clumpy, tough center and outside isn't chewy. The store is clean and offers several seats. I'm not up for pricey drinks but get on their rewards using your phone number and some of the deal they email you make it worth it to try. I was glad that there's a location very close to me because the one I always go to closed a long time ago. I just love their cocoa drinks and most especially their milk strike selections. My husband is not really a boba fan and he can be very picky if he's craving for one. But their Oreo Wow always deliver. The creaminess of their milk tea combined with the cream foam always hits the spot. Their boba's very chewy and yet soft at the same time. It has such flavor that some boba place lacks. I hate that my jaw hurts from chewing these balls at some places, but these suckers were just the right amount of chew and I love it. Kung Fu Tea is in the Spreckels Park Shopping Center. This is a busy plaza, but I was lucky enough to get front row parking in front of the shop. It was bright, cute, and spacious inside as well. I was torn between the Kung Fu Milk Green Tea and the Matcha Milk Cap. I ended up choosing the milk green tea. It was not that great, it had a weird grainy taste to it and did not really taste right - it had this weird aftertaste to it. I really like Kung Fu Tea. I had their Passion Fruit with Green Tea and Mango Popping Boba and that was heavenly. It wasn't overly sweet, where some other Boba shops, their passion fruit is too sweet. Service was average. Quick and efficient. The inside is clean. There's a claw machine in the corner and next to it is a table with games to play such as Jenga. Cute & colorful cloud designs on the walls. Ordered the matcha milk cap with boba. $0.75 extra to add boba. The drink was $8.50. It is kinda expensive. The milk cap taste like half-and-half milk. I come here all the time and I've never had an issue. The staff is friendly and I usually order ahead on the app and my drinks are always ready. So they are very quick. I like the rewards on the app, you can get free drinks, toppings and other deals. I've also gone inside and ordered and staff is helpful, and happy to answer questions and even let you taste the toppings. My go-to is the milk cap drinks, I like them cold or hot. And if I'm feeling fruity I get the lychee black tea or mango green tea which comes with the mango bits. And I usually order less sweet. The staff is friendly, and, as is common, they are flexible about customizing orders. They are pretty efficient at making drinks, but in a weekend night there's a backlog and a line.
