The store in located on a Plaza and there is plenty of parking place available. I ordered a large Thai milk tea. It was very sweet and had some weird flavor to it. Didn't finish the drink.

So glad to see Kung Fu Tea opening in the South Bend area. This location is very spacious and have quite a few table and bar top seating. Great place to hangout or get some study/work done. I went during their soft opening. The order did take a little bit longer, but consider they are still on the training mode. The staffs are very nice and helpful. The drinks itself always serve up to the standard. I got my all time favorite, the Kung Fu Milk Tea.

So happy they are finally open, South Bend finally has an actual bubble tea place. Unlike the surrounding Asian restaurants that offer powder. They are currently on a soft opening schedule, open from around 11:30ish to 8:30pm every day. The bubble tea itself is the usual Kung Fu tea, consistent and of course delicious.

Was gladly surprised! I'm not a huge fan of milky flavors but one of the workers suggested the cocoa cream wow with a milk cap. Would definitely come back for more!

The not-mentioned exit is a few steps into the parking lot, which has a lot of parking. I decided to try this on my way out of the mall. Only one person was working. They have a monitor/kiosk-like ordering stand, so you can order directly and pay for your order because this is a cashless establishment. It's a pretty easy step. After you pay, you get a printed-out receipt with the order number for pickup. When it's ready, it calls your order number. There are napkins and draws right where you pick up the order after the staff calls it when it's ready. No, hello, nothing. I just yelled the order number and walked away after putting it down. It came off a bit rude, and it wasn't busy at all. Like what if it's your first time ordering? What if? What if? But she just walked away What I ordered tasted off, like there was no taste, or should I say it tasted like milk? Yes, I know . The only flavor I got was the jelly mango. I can't describe it exactly. It could just be what I ordered because it was my first order from them, but I'm not sure. I'll give it a try again and order something different.

But the order kiosk makes the line move faster, so I recommend ordering there instead of at the counter. The drinks were ok - I liked the fruit tea better than the thai tea. The staff was nice (same staff working both times) and there's plenty of mall seating or you can take your drink to go.

While driving through Fort Wayne, we were itching to get a caffeine boost for our last two hours in…read morethe car to Indianapolis. We looked up all the boba shops around, not expecting to find too much in the area, when we came upon Hoshi Hoshi. As soon as we saw "Mango Sticky Rice Frappe," we knew we had to go. It's great to see a really creative boba shop in Fort Wayne, especially one that (I think) is Thai owned, which is a big departure from the mostly Vietnamese, Chinese, and Taiwanese owned shops through the US. When we first walked in on a early weekend afternoon, there were no other customers in the shop, but as we waited for our drinks, more and more people started walking in until the place was completely full. I'm glad we were at the start of the rush rather than during it! Milk Tea, 50% Sweet w/ Boba ($6.95) - Toppings are $1 each which is kind of on the expensive side. The tea is pretty good for this type of drink, mellow with perfect sweetness at 50%. The boba is a bit too soft, resulting in a disintegrating exterior that's rough and craggy. The bubbles are quite uniformly chewy throughout and resemble more of a jelly than typical tapioca balls. (3/5) Mango Sticky Rice Frappe w/ Jelly Mango ($9.95) - This drink consists of a mango and cream smoothie topped with sweet coconut infused sticky rice, diced mango, and a salty cream cheese topping. The drink is like a creamsicle leaning more towards the mango flavor instead of the cream flavor. The mango jelly sinks to the bottom of the drink, allowing you to get a piece every couple of sips. I was kind of nervous that if the rice was intermixed with the ice that it would be hard and gross, but thankfully they constructed this drink pretty well. Super delicious overall. (5/5) There was one puzzling thing - the barista asked us if we were okay with Jelly Mango in the drink and when we asked if it was included she said yes. Then she went ahead and charged an extra dollar for the topping. Either that, or the drink is not labeled corrected in the menu at $8.95. Bizarre in either case. Bathrooms: None that are customer accessible. I was really surprised by Hoshi Hoshi. I didn't expect to see this kind of place in Fort Wayne. This is a definite visit next time we are in the area.
