At first, I thought she might just be having a rough day, but she was very friendly and talkative with the other staff members. The service continued to be disappointing throughout my visit, and at one point it felt like the two employees were talking about me in another language, which made me uncomfortable as a customer. The cashier and other lady looked over and at one point I was just wanting to leave. After mentioning my experience to coworkers, several told me they felt the service had declined since the middle of last year. The food was much better than the service. The hibachi was flavorful, generously portioned, and a great value for the price. The sushi seemed fresh, and I'd be interested in trying more of it in the future. The only issue was the brown soup. The mushrooms were dark brown and black in color and appeared old. Biting into them was unpleasant and made me question the freshness of that part of the meal. Overall, the food was good enough that I would consider returning, but I would likely order online rather than ordering to-go in person due to the poor customer service experience. It's unfortunate because the food has a lot of potential, but the service left such a negative impression that it overshadowed the rest of the visit.
