Last weekend, we were craving ramen and wanted to try something different. We decided to check out Token Ramen in south St Pete. We had some hits and misses with our visit. This ramen shop is a small local chain with about 6 locations in the bay area. This one was located in a plaza off US19 in the marina district. We walked in and we were greeted immediately. They offer counter service, so we looked over the menu quickly. We went with spicy curry ramen, chicken ramen, tonkotsu ramen, spring rolls, fried chicken, and an oolong milk tea. We grabbed a seat and waited for our food. My spicy curry ramen came out before our appetizers, then the other 2 ramen followed. The apps were delivered last. The spring rolls were pretty standard and the fried chicken was tasty. They were both served with sweet chili sauce, but we wished they had more variety in sauces. My spicy curry ramen was quite tasty. The broth was well seasoned and it had great depth of flavor. The chicken & tonkotsu ramen were said to be fairly average and plain. Nothing really stood out about them unfortunately. My oolong milk tea was enjoyed. Overall, we had some hits and misses. I would return for the spicy curry ramen and a tea. The other two ramen were a bit lacking. The menu looks interesting, so I will likely stop by again to try a few other options. read more

You can never go wrong with boba. I got the taro milk tea with mango boba. I can honestly say that it wasn't the best or the worst boba. I got 70% sugar but it tasted much sweeter. Will probably get 50% next time. You couldn't really taste the taro flavor. The mango boba was good. Staff were nice and friendly. Took about 5 minutes for the boba to make. Restaurant looked nice from the inside and outside. read more

I love the atmosphere here. The foods really good and the boba is fun, not the creamiest I've had but still a nice boba fix! The ninja chicken is fun and I got it with the sweet and sour sauce. It didn't pack the flavor or punch id hoped, so the sauce helps but the crisp on it is spot on. Just wish the chicken had more spice and flavor to it or something. I personally liked the Ramen better last time I got it. The lady taking your order is very nice but she seems to be doing a lot by herself and sometimes gets frazzled. She's very nice and helpful though and quick to correct if she gets something wrong. The place stays busy so expect to wait for a while. If you're in a hurry probably smart to order ahead. They do door dash here so thats also an option if you're unwilling to part with your Jammies or burn through gas. Plenty of seating, place is kept very clean too! read more

I really appreciate the fact that they have plant-based options. They have tofu hibachi that I wanted to try for a long time having frequented this plaza. The tofu hibachi comes with a hearty serving of carrots, onions, zucchini, broccoli, fried rice, and miso soup. I ordered in person, and it took about 15 minutes to be prepared. There wasn't many people inside when I went but it was a weekday evening. I would order here again. read more

Came here at 7:30 on a Thursday and the place was empty. It's hidden in a plaza with a publix, and I never knew it existed until the other day when driving by. We were immediately greeted and the ordering was very simple with an option for apple pay! Our server was friendly and no complaints about service whatsoever. We ordered a large peach oolong tea with milk cap on it which came out to over $6, so customizations and our drink was fairly expensive. I, as well as my girlfriend, both believed the drink was fairly bland. I understand that it was oolong tea but i couldn't taste any peach except in the odd chunks that were in the drink. The texture of the chunks was not very desirable/flavorful in my opinion, compared to other drinks i've had. Furthermore, the milk cap was a dollar to add and had ZERO flavor in my opinion. I've had milk cap at other establishments and they added some kind of taste, but this was a similar texture to whip cream but no flavor at all. I personally would recommend to anyone: DO NOT buy the milk cap, total waste of $1. Overall experience, I don't foresee myself coming back to this establishment, although it was only one drink it was not very flavorful and i was definitely disappointed in the drink. read more

This is the hidden KFT that no one knows about. It is invite only for Elite Squad only. Just kidding!!! I randomly happened across this location off-roading from the Skyway due to download St Pete traffic. I squealed and pulled into the shopping plaza after seeing what I thought said "RAMEN" on an old Publix plaza. Really? Well, anyways, since this is a new Token Ramen based location, the smell when you enter is amazing and not deep fried like some of the other KFT locations. Also, since they are brand spankin new, they have all of the new items, my favorite being the Ube Latte. Try it. read more

We love Boba tea! I Don't like how the prices are so high on Uber eats. They have the drink we ordered for $4 - cost me $19 and I have free delivery. I don't think they should gouge the prices like that. However, the drinks were made perfect and tasted great! Would certainly go again. read more

I think this location is new and everyone is friendly. Since the location was new, they didn't have a lot of variety with their toppings. This kung fu tea is combined with another Asian restaurant. read more

Kung Fu Tea is popping up in St Pete, this location is new and the quality is lagging from others. My milk cap didn't taste the same, as there isn't enough foam milk. The sesame matcha is not what I expected. I thought the sesame seeds are in powder then mixed in with the matcha. The ramen and hibachi were ok. For this location, the prices are on the high side for both drinks and food. The 30 minutes I was there, 3 out of 5 customers walked out after checking the menu. They have no idea what these items are and the prices are really not for them. The drinks are higher than starbucks, the food cost more and get less from the Chinese takeout a few stores down. The previous Hibachi already went out of business, will they make it? read more

Run......! This place was horrible. I went in to an empty restaurant during lunch and I know why. There was 3 girls behind the counter, possibly adult mom, teenage daughter and child daughter. Everything was cool when they took my order but when the child was making my drink, I had a problem with it. Because she not only forgot to add bubbles to my tea but she sneezed on my drink!! The child tried to sneeze on the towel my drink was on then uses the towel to try to wipe down the drink! And after the whole sneeze incident, everyone starts laughing. Wow. Totally freaking crazy. And the girl put my drink on the counter and didn't say a word. I just can't believe it. I tried call kung fu corporate no answer. Posted a comment about my experience not reply just removed comment. I will not be proving any more of my money to a company that is careless of spreading covid and doesn't take accountability for their franchises. read more

Clean, fast and friendly service! Delicious boba tea, on the south side of Saint Petersburg that is affordable, was a needed and welcome addition to the neighbourhood. Looking forward to going back at a later day for food in a chic atmosphere! read more

I have eaten here twice. Food was ok. The service both times was horrible. My appetizer came after my meal. I had to get my own water and napkins myself and go directly up front to get my check. Employees playing on phones. I had Hibachi beef the first time. Very tasty. Meat was a little tuff. Second time Black and Garlic Ramen and Chicken nuggets. I never have been to a Ramen Restaurant before. Ramen tastes like the cups of Ramen from supermarket for 25cents. Different! I hope they straighten this place out. To me they'll be out of business in 1year or less if they keep continuing this way. All the employees were very friendly just no idea how to work. Poor management read more
