I had a disappointing experience at Peace on Earth Coffee…read more I specifically ordered a matcha latte with a substitution for health reasons, so accuracy mattered to me. I made sure to confirm this substitution was available before placing my order. After drinking it, I became concerned that my substitution had not been applied, so I tried to contact the store. It took multiple calls to reach a manager, but once I did, they acknowledged that a new employee had likely made a mistake and apologized. Although it was difficult to get in touch with someone, I appreciate their willingness to hear my concerns and their attempts to rectify the situation. When I returned to the store for the agreed-upon refund, however, the experience became frustrating. The manager, Aubrey, initially attempted to refund me for a less expensive drink and seemed unwilling to believe me when I explained what I had paid. I clarified that I was not seeking reimbursement for the tip, only the agreed-upon refund for my purchase. Her tone felt irritated and dismissive throughout the interaction. Fortunately, I still had my receipt with me and was able to verify the correct amount. Mistakes happen, and I appreciate that the store acknowledged the possibility of an error. What disappointed me most was how the refund was handled. I left feeling that my concerns were met with skepticism rather than understanding. Additionally, on a completely separate side note, while I was there, I noticed a customer had a dog inside the café. When I first visited with my friend, we had her dog with us and we were told dogs were only welcome on the patio because they had an open kitchen. So it was unexpected to see this dog inside and drinking from a reusable customer water cup provided by Peace on Earth. The inconsistency in enforcing store policies was surprising. I hope the business uses this as an opportunity to improve employee training and customer service.

The matcha was really good (as a Californian, I don't usually have high hopes for Utah matcha, but I was very happy). Got my brother a toasted marshmallow latte with toasted marshmallow cold foam. Super good. Mom loved her Americano with lavender pride cold foam Definitely check this place out if you're in Provo!!!!!!!

This is hands-down my favorite coffee shop! I've been going to them since their Provo Mall days…read more(RIP that location), and I'm so glad this location exists. The vibe when you walk in is super cool, and the employees are always friendly. They give great recommendations, and sometimes they'll even make their own favorite drink that's not on the menu. It's definitely a busy spot, there are always people there, even on weekdays with WFH people working at the tables. Weekends (and even Sundays) get pretty packed, but it makes sense. Their coffee is always solid and the food is good for a coffee shop. My go-to drinks are the Smilin' Hawaiian or the caramel blondie. For food, I love their breakfast BAE (bacon, avocado, egg) sandwich on the jalapeño cheddar bagel, so good! Just make sure they've got ripe avocados because that makes all the difference

It was so packed inside, I've never seen that many people in a coffee shop. It took me about 15 minutes to finally find a spot at a table and luckily only a couple of people showed up to meet. We had a really great time though and the vibes are so good here. Everyone I interacted with from customers to the baristas were awesome. I ordered a tea called katara and it was amazing. It was kind of fruity, but just so full of flavor and didn't taste watered down at all. Once it was ready they brought it out which was impressive because of how busy it was, they still kept track of where I was which I appreciated. Overall, good vibes, good drinks, and great baristas.

I ordered an iced latte (I can't remember which syrup she added, but honestly you can't go wrong with any of them). My sister got their lemonade with lavender syrup, she wished it had a little more lavender flavor, but overall it was still really good. The barista was super friendly and gave great recommendations when I asked which syrup to add to my drink. JJ owners, if you're seeing this, please open a location in Pleasant Grove or American Fork! We were on our roadtrip home from Yellowstone and stopped through Orem at a Courtyard nearby. I Yelped for a coffeeshop and JJ coffee (or J&J or James & Joan) popped up as the number one choice and it was literally on the other side of the parking lot of our hotel. However, during the early September heat, we opted to drive there instead. This is a college town so you see college kids everywhere. And, the perk is they have one of the best coffee shops for you to check out. This place is very trendy and cute and offer some of the best coffees, matchas, and chai out there! From cortado to lattes to matcha (their coconut ube matcha was so delish), everything was so satisfying. I also had the avocado toast and the turkey panini (which was okay, very strong pesto). The winner for me here was the coffee and the matcha, whether regular or the coconut ube, 50% sweet, was so good. Even much better than other matcha places back in Socal. Highly recommended!
