They even came as late as 2 am to help Leonora feel better. My cat started having some problems in the fall of last year. I did not know what to do. Luckily, I found Traci and Jon and I knew Leonora was in good hands. You will not find more caring vets.

I am ***completely*** blown away by Dr. Traci Vogler and Jon Spiegel and cannot thank them enough…read morefor the deep caring, kindness, and compassion they showed to our dear kitty and to us. I called them on a Saturday evening when it became clear our beloved cat was suffering and that it was his "time" and to my relief they were able to be there within 30 minutes. I am immeasurably grateful for their help at this difficult time, for their heartfelt kindness and patience and to explain everything to us and help us understand, after examining our cat, that we were making the right decision. They let us take as much time as we needed through the process. They could not have been more perfect, from the very first telephone conversation, they said all the right things, with authentic empathy and caring - for us and our cat - and helped so very much as we did the kindest thing we could do for our kitty and let him go peacefully. I sincerely wish them all the best, and recommend them highly to anyone needing veterinary care for their beloved pet.

This is a follow up review to the initial one I posted approximately 2 weeks ago…read more I brought in my fur baby who was having a seizure or stroke, still not sure what she was experiencing. Their response to end of life care was less than ideal and made a distressing decision and experience worse. When I returned days later to pick up my dog's cremains, the manager, Lindsay, asked to speak with me. She listened attentively to my retelling of the incident. She gave no excuses for the poor performance of the staff, which is what the vet on duty tried to do that night, and apologized profusely, thanking me for the feedback. She asked what could they have done differently and was resolute in her promise to address the staff. It doesn't change the experience I endured but I left there believing I was heard and, going forward, patients would be treated with more empathy and compassion. Lindsay even ordered a name plate for the urn! Thank you Lindsay for everything!

They were well informed, compassionate, and had excellent bedside manner. I was so nervous bringing in my sick dog who has an extreme fear of vets. They assured me they would use Fear Free methods, had experienced similar dogs before, and that I shouldn't worry...bc they weren't worried. Having seen other vets/vet techs say the same and then act differently, I couldn't believe their calm and poise and how it translated to care. It was just what I needed in a moment of extreme unknown and fear. I wish I could have this team care for my Juney every vet visit. Thank you again VEG team! You're the best!

I do NOT recommend this clinic…read more I brought my dog, Gucci, in for a surgical procedure on 24th of February and what followed was one of the most stressful and upsetting experiences I've ever had! At discharge, I was told that sutures and surgical glue were used and that everything was secure. I trusted that information and brought my dog home believing he would heal properly. He cried nonstop the entire ride home and continued crying for two days straight. I couldn't even sleep because of how much he was suffering. Just a few days later, on February 28, his incision completely opened and began bleeding heavily. I could actually see inside the wound. On top of that, he was struggling to breathe. It was terrifying. I had no choice but to rush him to an emergency Trumbull Veterinary Hospital, where they had to properly suture the wound and stabilize him with additional treatment and medication. This resulted in significant, unexpected expenses that should have never happened if the original procedure had been done correctly. To make matters worse, I noticed scratches near his private area and called the clinic. I was dismissed and told it was probably razor burn, but it looked like careless cuts. My dog was in extreme pain. Now my service dog has anxiety due to this malpractice. I followed all post-op instructions carefully, so there is no excuse for the wound reopening like that. (no he did not lick his wound because he had his cone and prevented him from getting there) This situation caused serious physical harm to my dog and emotional distress for both of us. Based on my experience, I strongly believe there was a lack of proper care and professionalism. I would not trust this clinic with any animals again. I will be filing a formal complaint.
